Where is Vulli? Reading all posts here about players linked with Milan is just like reading gossips. 
I hope he comes soon to this thread and brings great news like he did last summer.

We have Abate as the RB. No need for another RB, or maybe a backup, but then again Oddo has a contract until June 2012. Galliani said that no RB is needed.

i knew that Pippo, Nesta, Van Bommel and Roma would renew without doubt. Pirlo said that he hoped Milan regret losing him. i really cant understand. He is over 30, he will be 32 soon. Milan's policy is offering 1 year contract to over 30 players.Nesta accepted 1 year, Pippo, Van Bommel and Roma all accepted 1 year without problem. They renewed same day. But Pirlo asked for 3-4 years length. Juve offered him great deal, 3 years and 4 m euros plus bonuses. if Pirlo wanted, he could stay at Milan, accepting 1 years contract with lower fee. im sure Milan would renew it 1 more year next season if he performs well, same goes for the year after if he performs well... im happy with this policy as contract renews depents on perfonmance.
Gattuso, Zambrotta and Oddo accepted pay cut last season and renewed their 1 years contract to 2 years, with lower wages. But Pirlo didnt. if he did, he could stay.
Pirlo's era at Milan is over. This is a late seperate if you ask me. im happy with Pirlo decision. We need more than Pirlo for CL.

Mate i know that we have Abate, but that guy can't cross!!!! I remember in past some in live chating games in MM with so many memebers saying Abate is destroiying our game reaching to opponents side ready to creat a chance and when the ball was going at his legs for a cross or a good pass he was mesing up everything!
You are right that its hard to get a new RB now that on ther other hand Oddo managed to reach and break Galliani's proposal running a 400M in Olympico under 1 minute earning a contract renew! xaxaxaxaxaxa.

In the last part of the season Abate stopped relying solely on crosses. He now tries to cut into the middle and produce a through ball or shoot.
And he was pretty good at that too! I would rather have him dribble inside the box than play boring crosses. LOL.

Yes mate i don't want also to play with long balls. But in the game all the teams in some phases they cross the ball. Im talkin only in cases like for example "the ball is is defence, taiwo plays the 1-2 with Boateng, boateng to Seedorf.....seedorf amazing pass to Zlatan.....it seems a good attack for Milan players.....abate on the right side is making a run to help the team in the attacking part.....Zlatan sees him and pass him the ball..... our world class back Abate in now with the ball creating a chance for our team.....hes crosses......AWFUL!! All the team runned played the ball nice and abate once again messed the oportunity."
I know that we wont play all the time with crosses but it is great to have a player who can cross. Really great. And i magine that we gonna have for sure games with a teams playing all defence to keep for example a 1-1 score with us. Unfortunately we will need players like Messi-Xavi-Iniesta to break a defence with 6-7 defenders like this without sending the ball to the sides.
I hope abate work a lot in training and improve!!!!!And something last imagine our 2007 CL backs in the final games Oddo and Janku playing their best games for us my opinion, our team was looking like a beautiful team to watch.
I really hope to see a good abate this year.

Abate improved A LOT this season. For a fullback, first thing to deliver is that he can defense. Then he can help in attacking and Abate is not bad when he goes forward. His major problem is his cross but his cross is not that bad. He can cross but still he can't read the situation in the PK area. In the last games, he showed improvement in offensive abilities including his cross.
