Apparently Arsenal didn't exercise their option so Fabregas chose Chelsea instead. A puzzling decision by Wenger because despite their wealth in creative midfielders, the best of the lot, Wilshere and Ramsey were often out injured, and even if they're fit, I think Fabregas is still a better player.

If I must guess, Fabregas may be a better player, but the ship has sailed. Not every team is like Milan - they may not want their "former stars" back, particularly if what they did hurt their fans' feeling.
IMO, Oezil is the main reason for Arsenal's hesitation. They need world class players at other position.

Damn, I completely forgot Ozil. You're probably right, and Xudong too, I guess, because if my memory serves me right Fabregas himself asked to be sold to Barca three years ago so that might play some part as to why Wenger doesn't want him back. That said, if what Fabregas meant with "unfinished business" is the EPL title then I guess he's more likely to win it with Chelsea especially if they buy Diego Costa too.

Torres still makes Robinho look like an amateur :p
