WE should look into Sanchez before inter do, although udine qualified for CL it's likely they'll probably sell him to fund moves for other areas of the defence .. they would be smart to sell di natale and sanchez and buy 2 attackers and two defenders

i thought Udinese have already had an offer of €34million offered for Sanchez which they rejected.

* Sanchez is going nowhere. They qualified for Champions League so he will have a guaranteed starting place alongside Di Natale on a Champions League Team. It would be simply stupid for him to leave and sit on bench.

* Seedorf re-signing is a step backwards. He was awful the entire year besides 3 games, and he is slow, stagnant, and old. He must make way for us to buy a new player such as Hamsik, Hernanes, Fabregas, Poli, Honda etc.

* Ultimately, releasing Pirlo, Seedorf, Bonera, Jankulovski & Legrottaglie is ideal, bringing in the 2 defenders we already have brought in (Mexes, Taiwo), + 2 midfielders (Fabregas, Hamsik, Pastore, Ganso, Lamela, Hernanes, Honda) and it will certainly been a successful mercato

I agree, so much for renewing the team... It's strange that only Pirlo has left. I don't understand why people, and Allegri, thinks that such talented player only can cover one role in the team.

If we're only offering one year extensions to players over 30, we certainly should offer no players above 34 anything at all...

Expereicne is important. I hope seedorf returns. He just needs to be a squad player, not a starter. If we sign a CAM and a LCM, Seedorf is perfect cover, and brings a lot to training and locker room

Experience is important and of course there are exceptions, like some of those you mentioned. But we want to renew our squad a bit and add some new blood. When the management said we're also going to slim down the squad to about 25 players, then someone has to go. We can't just keep everybody until they retire and I think it's time for Seedorf to move on although he's been good lately. Would Seedorf be happy with a bench role? Does he earn to much to just be backup?

That's the question. If he accepts wage reduction and a squad rotation role, i'd love to keep him. That's all I meant.

Why don't you stop trash-talking Seedorf? He's proven to be a key player this season. Sure, he did mess up a lot in a couple of games last fall, but in my opinion he still has the quality to play top-level football. I also think it's more a matter of mental attitude concerning Seedorf - he needs to be pressured to perform well.

OK, Pirlo (a magnificent player and regista) is out of the picture. But what about Gatusso? Is he leaving? I have a slight feeling that he is... And to be honest, he isn't that good amymore. He brings a lot of fighting spirit to the team, but I don't know if that is enough to motivate a continuation?

When or if Gatusso leaves, we'll need a top-class DM that is young, healthy and perhaps with more technical skills than Flamini. "Gatusso with a Pirlo twist"?

AC Milan needs the following:

One attacking midfielder (to replace Seedorf over time) Diego? Hamsik? Marchisio?
One defensive midfielder (to replace Gatusso) Mascherano? Lassana Diarra? Alex Song? De Rossi?

both should be of very high quality!

I didn't say sanchez would go anywhere but i'd love to have him on milan.. and yes kaka1899 they did, i think the reason was the president believes he is worth alot more and is of "messi and c.ronaldo quality" and he thinks only 3-4 of these players come up in a generation. i highly disagree because there are better players like hulk etc as far as our fighting spirit and if gattuso were to leave im not worried. his fighting spirit really is whats left of him. he was great before but even he is starting to show age, and not only but his passing could be a lot better. he won with us this year, it would be a perfect time for him to make way for a younger player.. besides if it's his fighting spirit we should be concerned about losing well.. boateng is on the same lines. ill miss rino pirlo seedorf but it's time for them to leave...

also one more thing, if we get rid of seedorf we shouldn't be looking at options that are better then him right now at his old age and can offer little more then he does because of his vast experience .. arcticengineer ^ what would diego or marchisio offer more then seedorf, i think they would both be terrible buys and gambles to say the least, diego had the potential but he hasn't been performing well and we saw that disaster at juve.. we have to keep in mind seedorf is a very vital player for us when he's on his game let's not forget when we beat inter 3-0, he was the main man and big ucl games where we needed him to hold the ball and slow the tempo down or we probably would have been masacered in some games... we need a replacement that would be as good as seedorf in his prime, not now at 35 years old...

According to recent news from milannews.it (byy the way probably my most reliable source by far) we're interested in Ribery, i think ribery is a forgotten player. you never really hear his name or much of him and i havent seen alot of him this season either but what i saw against inter is a player who no one could steal the ball from,but they'd ask crazy money for him probably 60mln. bayern has some great players and havent been doing well but also have the money to get back up so theres not haggling prices with them for their star players anywayss..

About Ribery, a few adjectives describing him:
- pretentious
- stupid
- uncultivated
- overrated
- injury prone

Seriously, having such a guy in our team would make me lose some respect for my beloved club (of course, I'd still love Milan and only Milan, but that shows you how I hate and disrespect this guy). He was one of the main characters of the French NT story in South Africa ... He always complains when a coach doesn't use him in his favourite position. He isn't a hard worker. He doesn't fit our formation nowadays. He often gets injuries in the main parts of a season and he has never managed to step up in the biggest games. He's not good looking (this sentence is dedicated to Zeekay ).

He's no more the Ribery of 2006, a talented player working hard because he was coming from nowhere and wanted to become a great player in a great club. Since he's a star, the guy has become what I wrote in the previous paragraph.

MASSIMILIANO ALLEGRI has met Kwadwo Asamoah and his agent according to reports.

Udinese have earned a place last night in the Champions League play-offs after drawing at home with newly champions AC Milan. However, one of their players could be already in the Group Stage, with Milan.

Despite saying that they won’t sign a midfielder who plays in Italy, there are constant reports that Milan would be keen to sign Udinese’s left-midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah as Andrea Pirlo replacement.

In fact, Sky reports that after yesterday’s game, Milan boss Massimiliano Allegri was spotted in a private room of a restaurant in Udine, where he met Asamoah and the player’s agent.

Either side has denied or confirmed these rumours, but with Udinese admitting that they will sell some of their best players this summer, it seems that Milan are serious about getting the 22-year-old.


I think finding the last pieces of the puzzle is more important than a star/world class.
