Winter mercato January 2015
So funny reading all the posts.

To be honest, I pretty much ignore so call youth players bc the game is changing at a rapid pace and due to technology, formations, injuries and work ethics, players might just suddenly become a super star, as long as eh work hard and smart off the pitch and given chances.

When Man U signed Ronaldo and Rooney, Rooney was praised as the better player, the future...while Ronaldo got gifts but needs to fine tune his game....to some extend, that was true. Then you at them now and you can clearly see who was worked harder off the pitch. Another player is Bale. Was never a fan of his and never understood the hype around him at Spurs. If you go back, you can probably still find my comments about him as an overhyped player after the hat trick against Inter. But now, he is very close to a complete player and arguably a top 5 attackers in the world. Yes some did predict he would been a superstar but I doubt anyone would think he would become the type of player that he is now.
Then there is Robben, who is a completely different player than he was when he first broke through.

Pato was scoring goals and got pretty good stats and actually grew a few inches and pounds of muscles at Milan. yet, he struggled partly due to injuries but mostly bc he can't as a team.

I think a lot can change in the course of a players career. Unlike 20yrs ago where players can somehow get away with great talents alone, in the modern age great players need to work hard on the pitch and work even harder off the pitch.
I remember Bale beign repeatedly rumored to join us back then.

Sounds just so funny now...
Some news on possible stadium building:

http://www.milannews.it/primo-piano/tutt...gia-155918

Basically, Barbara and Thohir will meet this week to discuss future San Siro plans. The expo area might be too expensive to buy for a stadium, while there are rumours of another site not far from San Siro as an alternative possibility. At this point it wouldn't be a surprise that these ongoing rumours are to try and get the expo site a little cheaper.

Probably the same with Coman.....but I'm not going to sit here arguing by the skin of my nails that I'm right and you are wrong....because it is something that hasn't happened yet. How can I know that I'm right? Problem is that you think you are alwaxys right! Even when you have no facts to prove that you are, so you go an use "critics" reviews to prove that Coman will be a better player then Menez. Not once have you stopped and said, "ok, I believe this, but maybe I won't be right". The fact that red bull gave Mastour a sponsorship deal means nothing to me. He is a YouTube sensation that young players associate with. It's a great business deal for them. Does it mean that he'll be better then Menez? Absolutely not! I expect him to be of course! Don't get me wrong! But his red bull sponsorship and your and te critics' educated guesses does not guarantee it. And the biggest problem between our opinions is that all I'm saying is that you can't be SOOO sure of the future, and every once in a while you just have to admit that it MAY, just may not work out that way. Yet you are arguing as if you know the future. Even if like I said, there is countless examples of young players showing promise, being hyped up, critics making "educated guesses"...only for these players to then fail. For gods sake, Menez was one of those hyped up youngsters with all his dribbling moves in France. A prime example.

It's not about Coman to me, but the fact that you are soo sure he'll be better then Menez soon. I don't necessarily disagree with that opinion, but with the way you discard our players and hype up someone you've seen play one time in your life...AND claim so hard that you are right.

Lol so after arguing with me for the second time you finally admit I'm right for the second time! Glad you now appreciate Coman has great potential. Btw those 'critics' reviews aren't made up I'll happily post links. PS I never said he WILL become a great player. You misinterpreted my words.

As for 'always being right' I've got my reasons. Particularly when it comes to evaluating Milan players. I said Constant was fodder after 2 games whilst idiots on other forums called him 'best LB in Serie A/new Serginho'. Similarly, I called out Niang, Poli, Rami as mediocre fodders after just a few games and other's are finally saying the same thing.

For all those hyping Honda/Menez you saw how average they were against Juve. I told you they're decent squad players nothing more. They shouldn't be starting at club like Milan. Tevez played a monstrous game in comparison Devilol
Yes Jokka! You are right!
Thanks!
Probable starting line up vs. Empoli tonight:-

Abbiati; Abate, Zapata, Rami, De Sciglio; Poli, De Jong, Van Ginkel; Honda, Torres, Bonaventura

Honestly ask yourselves would any of these guys start for Serie A's top clubs? Never mind clubs around the world. You could argue for DES but he's been really bad this season. He was WC in his debut season but hasn't regained that form Facepalm
Is it just me or are these arguments going in circles? Devilol

Your sarcasm will go unnoticed, nefremo, because indeed he thinks he is always right SagrinSagrin
MILAN! MILAN! SOLO CON TE!
MILAN! MILAN! SEMPRE PER TE!
So in an attempt to get back on topic, who have we been linked to so far? I know there's Sosa..yet another attacker. We seem to enjoy stacking up players in positions that are already reasonably well covered. A few years ago it was the DM position..now it feels like we will soon have entirely too many attackers.
Siamo a posto cosi.
