Nefremo my friend its quantity not quality ...Meelan prefers quantity Smile
Ha...... yes, that too! Big Grin
I agree with Monty, as Milan players are better than their record. They might not be the most talented team but they ain't that bad. At least to me, Milan should be beating all the lesser teams instead of drawing or losing to them.
Teams should ideally be playing better than the sum of their individual parts. Somehow we've managed to play worse than that sum Facepalm
Siamo a posto cosi.
Teams can only play better than the sum of its parts when they are committed to sacrificing for one another. Players need to sacrifice some parts of their games and work for others in order to make it all work. And that is precisely the problem with Milan. Every player on this team is so hyped up and drank too much of Galliani's cool-aid that they think the whole team should be build around him. That's why you see Menez being selfish and careless with the ball; De Sciglio constantly losing focus in games; Muntari shooting from super long distance whenever he felt like it. The spirit of the team is all fluff and no substance. Add in a coach who is more of a motivational speaker than an actual coach, and well, you've got a recipe of what we have.

In order for us to actually turn things around, we need to have a brand new attitude, and it starts from the top. No more talk about CL, history, most winning team, championship or any of that bullshit. Its time to realize that we are not that talented, and work on our crap.
Nobody disagrees that Milan doesn't have good players and they merit much more on paper, but something just isn't working. I'm not sure if it could be a coaching problem at this point in time because we've been through 3 coaches with the same problems, and after all the criticism Allegri underwent, he seems to have made Rubentus an even better side than they were under Conte (albeit, Conte did the hard work, Allegri is just putting the icing on the cake IMO), under Conte they were a well balanced and much more defensively oriented side, now under Allegri they seem to be scoring so many goals lately and destroying these Seria a teams, almost like Barca and Madrid do in Spain.

It's been 3 damn years that this team has EXTREME difficulty defending corners, how many fkng defenders do we have to switch to change that? It's been 3 years that our midfield has sucked, what's it going to take for our management to stop buying attackers and fullbacks and buy a good midfielder? It's been 3 years we haven't spent money, what's it going to take for Berlusconi to spend.. The problems stay the same, and we only improve on things we don't need to really improve on. Our management seems to be fixing one thing, but before every small problem they fix they make 4 mistakes in between, which then need fixing.

I don't think this teams lacks concentration like Inzaghi likes to say, I don't think we lose focus during a game, because if you keep an intense playing level you don't just lose concentration like that, and as professional athletes these guys should have the fitness to do so. On my varsity soccer team my coach alawyaass tells us that if we feel out of breathe when we need to track back it only means we dont want to get possession back as hard we should want to, because if we really want to and put our minds to it (KEY WORD: FOCUS) we wont even pay attention to whether we're breathing or not. These are smart words from a guy I barely understand when he talks, but they apply to anything. Milan players dont give a shit, they dont see the value behind playing for this shirt and I think it stems down to the guys who have become comfortable thinking they can do that.. like Zapata and mexes and whoever, maybe I'm wrong idk.
I'm at a loss for words. The team now is sooo bad that its scary , with Lazio Parma Juve next I predict 1 point against Parma. It really could get a whole lot worse very quickly.I don't think we'll get into a relegation dogfight , but I do see a possible worse than 8th place finish. It makes such hard viewing , Pippo is lost on the touchline the team has no fight no style of play no determination nothing.
I don't put all the blame on Pippo it was just a step too far too soon.
We need an experienced copach badly , a man that will sort out our defence which is abysmal. We lost 1-0 to Atalanta but anyone who saw that game knows it could of been a hell of a lot worse. They hit the bar and missed quite a few chances. They scary part is NOTHING is being done to fix the team , we still have massive earners that dont deserve it we still have a 30 man squad we're still only looking at anyone whos free or cheap regardless of position or quality. Now theyre talking of Pasqual FFS , yeah thats we need to sort out our brutally average midfield a 33 yr old LB OF AVERAGE ABILITY
^ Agree completely. Pippo is just not ready for this big stage and it's seemed that he's running out of ideas which we sadly haven't seen them yet. I'm all for an experienced coach. Spalletti would be a cheap & good replacement imo http://www.zonalmarking.net/2010/03/05/t...roma-2007/
Berlusconi is apparently voicing concerns about lost revenue from CL. I guess it never occurred to them that without proper investment, the team will not actually be able to sustain its revenue level. So all the cost savings essentially gets wiped out by lost revenue and you are no better off than before.

Forget Spaletti and Prandelli. Those two guys would have been perfect for us this summer. But there was a reason they picked Inzaghi and it's the same reason those two won't come now, money. Galliani keeps emphasizing the importance of the Milan way. Which basically means the coach is Berlu and Galli's bitch. Inzaghi got the job cause he was cheap and wouldn't say anything, unlike Seedorf. If he goes, it's just gonna be another half ass from within (Brocchi?)

Can't really complain now. When he sold Thiago Silva, his own daughter wrote a 60 page dossier explaining the ramifications and he ignored her.
