I don't like the formation below because the player in front of the CB should be a defensive player who has (some) creativity since that position is crucial for defending, a player like Van Bommel:

Fabregas is not a bit more defensive oriented. He is not good defensively. I wonder if there is new Redondo right now, player whose attributes similar like him. A young player like Van Bommel is already more than OK for me to fill the position in front of the CBs.
My realistic hope is to get one of Hamsik/Fabregas/Schweinsteiger (or similar type of player and quality) who cost much money (20-35 mil euro) AND Asamoah (10-15 mil euro) in summer. Then later to get Ganso in winter transfer window.

I agree with you on most of your points, but you called Hamsik/Fabregas/Schweinsteiger realistic? that would be dream signing to me.  As ambitious our management seems to be this summer, I am not that optimistic that it would happen.  I just hope that we get someone.  Maybe Asamoah only.

If it is only Asamoah, then I am a pessimistic seeing how management tried to strengthen the team SINCE last year.
We lose Pirlo and the replacement can't be Asamoah.
It is not to be the names I wrote, it could be other players but still costs pretty much money. We are trying to get someone really good but we don't know who he is.
That's not an entirely impossible scenairo. Allegri classifies Pirlo as LCM in his system, and Galliani already made it clear that our need to purchase any player(s) would be to replace those vacated positions only . Seedorf stays, so no need. Gattuso stays (so far), so no need. At this moment, it is just Pirlo that needs to be replaced. and guess what, Asamoah is a LCM. Bingo.

I don't think Allegri and Galliani so naive that Asamoah is left CM we need. It is clearly we need creativity in the team and we got if either from Seedorf or Pirlo. Asamoah is not a creative midfielder. If he comes, he will just fulfill one spot in midfield (we have to sell first, players like Flamini, left midfielder from Ajax or Gattuso).
If we get only Asamoah, we will get lost since we don't have any creative midfielder and Seedorf can't play regularly on top form. I think Allegri also knows it.

I would be disappointed with only Asamoah coming in.But I suppose you add to that , Ibra , Binho , Cassano , Taiwo , Boateng , Mexes ,V.Bommel and Asamoah if he arrives that's the 8 players most of us said we needed in the next 3 mercato's last year.Losing Dida , Kala , Favalinho , Pirlo , Janku .
Maybe we are never happy ..lol
But we have improved our squad alot , and have won the scuddetto so it's looking up.
I do know that 2 more of Cesc , Hamsik , Schweinsteiger , Ganso , Hernanes , Pastore added to what we have (and Asamoah ?) we really would have a team capable of winning it all.
So it's near real near all we need is some balls from MGT to make it happen.
Well with Taiwo , Nini , Zambro and even Bonera he wouldn't see any time.Not that I agree but he would warming the bench alot and maybe he'll get better with regular La Liga time for Espanyol.

I like ! think about how solid of a midfield we would have ? , If real madrid could't get de rossi why us ? , only advantage we're italian hehe but I think de rossi , bastian , bale , montolivo are more than possible & besides some big name striker our strenght should come from midfield not strikers ! , we're not that far to win the uefa cl again , & i hope to god davide astori returns !! ,
