Two questions about your points:

1) Where has it been said that Bee is taking out a loan? From what I've understood, a lot like Lee he's backed by investors to buy Milan outright.

2) What gives you the impression that the strategy is to essentially act as a feeder club?

I've not seen anything like this reported, though accept I might have missed something in translation. Also please excuse the curt response, I am responding on mobile.

Thanks. On the loan I'm still hesitant, particularly given the news about the investors behind Bee, but if true I share your hesitation.

On Doyen Sports, I agree their involvement is questionable, but I wouldn't take that to mean they would make Milan a feeder club.

Like I said before, I understand hesitating, but right now it's hard to call and will remain that way until something actually happens. There's a lot of hot air, but little little substance.

I really hope it's not a colpo di scena a la Kaka and T. Silva (who ended up leaving eventually). I want this resolved now so we can build in the summer, and i want us to sell (on the balance of it).

The latest is that the meeting between Bee and Berlu has been postponed until tomorrow. There are still details to sort out, apparently, but there are no indications that the deal won't happen.

The media is in a bit of a frenzy, so I won't go into the detail I normally try to and post links. Basically, the situation as I understand it is:

- The deal was expected to be done yesterday, but Berlusconi has delayed it to today (some reports say because he gave an interview to American journalists)

- Bee is reportedly annoyed about the delay, or specifically he's still pretty confident and it's apparently more the Arab investors behind him that are getting irritated

- Supposedly, Bee has given an ultimatum for a response by 14:00 today

- Apparently meetings will continue today, whether this is a final decision or continuing negotiations isn't clear

- Berlusconi has doubts about the deal because he doesn't "want to leave as a loser" and with "fans against him"

- Finnivest executives supposedly have doubts about Bee's ability to get the money (I don't get this, surely those selling would have found this out well before negotiations got this far)

- Silvio wants a bigger offer. Currently it stands at 500m for 51%, while he'd rather get an offer for 60-75%

- Part of the supposed delay is Barbara's potential role, as Silvio wants her to be in a "leading role" in the club

- The Chinese consortium, supposedly constantly on the phone to Silvio, are causing hesitation in the decision over Bee's offer

As seems to be the norm with Silvio and modern Milan, the situation is farcical and a circus. This should have been done quietly and much more efficiently, but as is the case with the management these days it's being handled terribly.

A couple of very quick points. First is there have been rumours that Silvio's not been impressed by Bee's use of the media and gaining publicity with announcements and releasing pictures of himself. Personally I think this is BS, as Silvio's whole career and life is pretty much built around using the media and putting his face out in public.

I don't think our new owners would have any sentimental reason to maintain our reputation, which lies in complete ruin anyway. The football world would go on without Milan. Some would mourn, and move on. The PSGs and Citys are the new world order.

The dubious business operation of Doyen Sports will become much easier when Milan is bought by Mr. Bee with Doyen's financial support. Doyen can put the players under its investment and management into Milan team to let them get playing time and high exposure to media attention. Once they have good performance, Doyen can push to sell these players at a high price so as to gain the profits of its investment, and Milan will get peanuts to nothing.

When Sporting Lisbon refused to sell Marco Rojo, of whom Doyen owned 75%, he went on strike by refusing go to training. The same can happen to Milan, if we start to have this kind Doyen owned players.

A quick check that shows the Doyen players which have become promising starlet or stars change club almost every two years on average.

Doyen can also give loans to Milan to facilitate transfers, the club then has to pay the money back plus interest. If fail to pay back the loan, Milan will get punished by losing the ownership of the player(s).

Like its agreement with Atlético Madrid regarding Radamel Falcao, another Doeyen player. "The agreement provided that Atletico Madrid will been paying the amount borrowed from Doyen Sports in 4 installments and for every installment that would not be paid,the Doyen Sports Investements would take one third of the economic rights of Falcao."

Doyen is more than just player management/investment, it is basically a hedge fund, which put its bet on the money generating ability of young players whom it invests.

Doyen refuses to disclose who its mid/central Europe money backers are. Last time we heard a central Europe money that bought an Italian club is Rezart Taci, who then sold Parma in less than 2 months to a fraud. We all know what happened with Parma now.

Vlencia's new owner, the Singaporean billionaire Peter Lim, who is much richer than Mr. Bee, is just doing the exact same thing that you fear.

Through Meriton Capital Ltd, an investment vehicle of Lim, he bought André Gomes & Rodrigo Moreno, who are now both formal Valencia players. Meriton Capital has also purchased another three Befica players, one of them João Cancelo is on loan to Valencia.

The interesting part is that Meriton Capital purchased the economic rights of the two players for 45 million Euros during the January transfer window of 2014. "It was revealed at the time of this deal that Peter Lim was preparing a takeover deal for Spanish football club Valencia CF, under the guidance of a certain Portuguese ‘super-agent’ Jorge Mendes."

According to some football fans, Mendes is kinda running the show in Valencia. Well, it is now a breeze for him to peddle his players to Valencia .

Same could happen with Milan, once Mr. Bee & taken control of the club and Doyen will be sure a fixture, I'm afraid.

Thanks for the nice summary. But we shouldn't trust the media too much , for they either just want to sell anything to grab the eyeballs or they are willingly used/bought as propaganda machine for the money.

For one thing I think Berlusconi is right that Mr. Bee & Co have been trying very hard to get themselves exposure to the world attention and push the deal to their advantage. Mr. Bee has been posed with the member of Rothschild family, a royal name in banking, staged photos on Milan street, and his public stunt by announcing to nail the deal on April 26. NO serious business man would ever openly announce a deal before it is even officially signed.


Mr. Bee & Co are spinning out all sorts half true or lies to makes its offer more attractive to Berlusconi and appease fans as well as fool around with the stupid media in order to get Milan as quick as possible.

For example, since media report the Berlusconi prefers the Chinese to buy, given its huge supporter base and business potential, now he's got Chinese backing as well. I highly doubt CITIC Securities, which is mentioned as his Chinese backer, will chip in. Indeed Chinese current government is promoting football but it can not easily be translated into a Chinese bank will give loans to a Thai to invest in Italian football. Wouldn't it make much more sense to back a Chinese buyer?

Not to forget CITIC is more or less a state owned public company, which means it is not allowed to squander the money as a private owned company or Middle East Sheikhs.

Another remote connection is that Mr. Bee's advising bank Rothschield co-owned a vineyard in China with a subsidiary of CITIC.

Saying he will establish Milan football schools to train Chinese players and coaches is twisting the truth. I just find out an article reporting "Stars line up to help development of soccer"http://www.chinadailyasia.com/nation/2015-02/04/content_15223361.html. This is a kind of cooperation between World Legends Series (WLS) and China. Mr. Bee and James Davies Yandle are co-founder of WLS.

I highly doubt Mr. Bee & Co are so pushy to get the deal done because they want to use the summer transfer window to do their own business with Milan, i.e. peddling Doyen players to Milan and/or Mr. Bee can do what Peter Lim has been doing with Valencia.
