Summer Mercato 2011
I d say Aquillani is a good player and it will be best if we rate him as just good coz he s never reached the status of WC yet. He s got quality definitely but a little too injury prone and not worth the price tag on him right now. But nevertheless it would be an upgrade on our current bunch of midfield players

Dont know what Galliani is cooking really. Coz he s definitely not getting us this 1.83 metre robust blue eyed monster we are hoping he would be which means he is getting someone who does not fit that description. My guess it s all a screen for this big surprise (hopefully) that we are up for the following season n i hope it would be Fabregas coz that guy would just lift our team by many levels. Fab n one more sigining would be wonderful for the next season
The thing with Aquilani is that this past season was pretty much his real healthy season. As I said before, it could be his turning point or just a freak of nature that he managed to stay healthy. For 15 mil, he is not worth the risk. As Honda is a much better player and he is also being list at 15 mil.
Drogba is beginning to show his age if you watch him closely these past two years. Therefore no thanks.
all of a sudden, we are linked with so many new names? Big Grin that's why I (dis)like the summer mercato! Big Grin

well, just on aquilani, I would stay away from him. he's so injury-prone that it would not be worth the money. what's worse, that would disrupt entire team's plan.

another question for whoever might have the answer: if we have to keep Onyewu, is the coming season the one that he will earn NO salary? Big Grin
Well, is this Witshel guy better than Fellaini, aka Afro Boy?

completely different players from what i've seen
anyone saw this?

Il vice-allenatore del Tottenham Joe Jordan parla di mercato a Radio Manà Manà. "Bale al Milan? Dipende solo da lui, deve scegliere cosa fare. Per noi può restare".

If the Tottenham coach is saying this, then it looks as if he's our summer target (not cesc).
off all the players we have been linked to, i think danielle de rossi is my favourite. He is very expierenced but not too old and he is really good, plus he is italian. that doesnt mean i dont want fab, but if we could get de rossi in the lm role, i would not be disappointed.

he is just saying that tottenham is willing to sell bale.
i used to like De Rossi... I have grown sick of his attitude and pathetic fair play.... he also is not good enough anymore, not for Italy nor for Roma.... He's not the same player from 2-3 years ago....
Bale alone will probably not take us over the top, and with his price it is less likely that we sign other 'bigger' names.
I don't think I am saying anything new but still.

I am sorry to say this, but Italy and Roma aren't the same teams anymore either. Okmilan
Asking De Rossi to put world class performances in THIS Roma squad is kinda asking too much from him don't you think? Same goes for Italy.

I think playing around great players like Milan has will IMMEDIATELY improve his playing. Devilcool

Pretty much... if we sign Bale I think we can forget about Fabregas. Huh
Though I am not sure which one I would prefer Sagrin probably the latter.
