Actually, just to say, Berlusconi is a genius, he probably planned some years ago that he would sell parts of the club in 2015, that's why he made his all to avoid European competitions as it allows us to spend without thinking about FFP ...

Your posts, Sir, are always enlightenment at its finest. Okmilan

Thanks !! Smile

Xu, nowadays,I think JM and Bacca are better than Falcao ...
Anyway, with these 3 strikers and James Rodriguez, Colombia could go quite far in the next World Cup (and the current Copa America).

Some reports say that the Kondogbia and Ibra cases could be resolved during the coming days.
About Kondogbia, in France, the rumour is that Madrid wants him ...Weird.
One should not speak ill of the dead.
So stop laughing at Juventus !
I agree, Falcao was better a few years back but not anymore. Bacca was never better than JM. As of now, he's the best of all 3 but we need a better trequartista in our 4-3-1-2

Bonaventura should be used in our midfield, and Honda doesn't cut it for me. ELS will prob be on his way out, even if not he doesnt suit that role.
I know that Ibrahimovic will drop slightly back more to play a creative support striker role as he tends to do. This is the beauty of Ibrahimovic IMO, you're getting a 20-30 goal a year player, which is exactly like Martinez, but what puts him way above the rest is his ability to create and hold possession. He truly is a team in himself. I don't personally see how a player like him isnt a good player to win CL. Just because he hasn't neither has Ronaldo (brazilian) and I think he's the best player to exist after Messi. It's a stupid statistic IMO, he's just been unlucky.

Hummels is in the Top 5 (IMO, Top 3) of the best defenders in the world. He has some weaknesses, of course, but there is no more defender like Nesta or Maldini who are solid/WC in everything ...

I wouldn't discuss about Hummels coming or not but about the reason why Mexes is still in our club right now as well as the likes of Bonera or Zapata ...

Let's not forget who are our current defenders. If Hummels comes, even with one or two silly mistakes during the season, well, that will be a big upgrade compared to our 15-mistake-a-year defenders ...

Jackson Martinez, Kondogbia (bye bye De Jong ?) and Hummels. Add another midfielder (sad not to see names like De Bruyne linked to us ... But we're probably already used to get big names now whereas we only signed one guy ?! Ahah), then guys like Bertolacci or Mauri.
About Ibra, I don't really care but if he joins us, we already know he'll score 20+ goals and as a consequence, he will give us at least 15 sure wins alone against the small sides. With other good/WC players, then, we'll compete with Juventus, Roma, Lazio and Napoli ...

Actually, just to say, Berlusconi is a genius, he probably planned some years ago that he would sell parts of the club in 2015, that's why he made his all to avoid European competitions as it allows us to spend without thinking about FFP ...

I agree, I'd say with confidence Hummels is in the top 5 CBs in the world, arguably top 3.

I doubt that Berlusconi is being a genius regarding FFP, as I believe spending this summer would still be considered if the club returns to CL. Big Grin

So I guess this deal can still fail... Dodgy

His comments are thought more to be for Porto (the relationship doesn't seem the best right now) than anything aimed at Milan. However, I also think he's making the comments given Martinez is at the Copa right now. They won't want to let the rumours and ongoing deal affect/annoy the Colombian national team, so I think this is just a case of reiterating that he's focused on the competition right now.

At club level, it's without question the best two have been J.Martinez and Bacca, but Falcao I think still gets preference because he's rewarded the faith shown in him in the national team (where he's still scoring regularly). Of course, yesterday's performance did him no favours.

As you say, a blitz is happening on Kondogbia and Ibra. I've also read Gazzetta reporting on Lucas Lima apparently being targeted, with Alex heading to Santos.

Luiz Adriano is named as apparently the 3rd big striker Berlusconi referred to the other day, while Bertolacci and Baselli apparently still remain targets.
Roma want Bertolacci. He is from Rome and came through Roma's youth academy. They also co-own him. Wouldn't be surprised if he ended up there.

Also Arda Turan, Thiago Silva and Abdennour linked. All very interesting Big Grin
Get Silva and Ibra in a discount pack, plus a hand written apology letter from Leonardo.
I suppose we dropped the "all italian" transfer strategy... Devilol

Lol am I dreamingBig Grin?

Why are we looking to buy Turan? Last I remember hes a wide player isnt he, dont know where he would play.
Apparently we want to buy Luiz Adriano as a 3rd striker!?
DOn't be surprised to see Matri back, if nothing else to fillyouth player quota. Martinez, Ibra, El Shaarawy, Niang, Matri would be more than enough. If Ibra doesn't come get someone ala Luiz Adriano.
Then we still have Cerci,Honda,Menez,Mastour & Suso.

Does Mastour count towards our youth player quota?
