Summer Mercato 2011
Why do you guys think Galli wont spend ?? We bought Ibrahimovic & Robinho last term, both good players and our budget was 40 Mln, if we have another 40mln budget this year we probably have somewhere around 60 million to spend.. I would get Hamsik + Ganso with that money, 35+25 , because think about it we bought ibrahimovic but we are paying installements each year, not all at once plus we sold huntelaar to fund most of robinhos move.. Borriello, what's going on with him ?? Maybe we are trying to trade him for Menez?

hamsik,ganso,menez in Smile
btw here are menez stats since joining roma..

In the league he had 31 apps with 2 goals 2 assists.. this is just this season however.. this is pretty mediocre but we should consider everything else he does like his runs dribbles setting up play for an assist.. assists and goals dont really say it all about a player
I watched some italian channel and there they said that Allegri doesn't want Ganso in his team because he isn't keen on players who wait for the ball and then decide what to do with it, and that he prefers type of players like Menez who are skillfull dribblers and can be used on two or more positions on the field....
Also I would definitly want to see Montolivo in our team rather than Fabregas(he can't win anything) or Aquilani(Liverpool made his game ridicolous)....

every time i see Criscito play for Italy i am more convinced he is just not good enough for Milan...
Rossi on the other hand is really good
I know we don't need a forward but if we end up selling anyone, he should be top of the list as he is probably cheaper than Aguero + more likely to join Milan
Very likely to join us actually LebRN he's been a milan fan since his childhood, its his dream to play for us.. I don't know why seriously we don't look into him, maybe he can be our CAM Big Grin

Menez is definitely a player who can beat opponents which is something we have missed a lot since the Kaka glory days and therefore will definitely add something different to our team....the only things i am not sure about him is his attitude...he sometimes look too uninterested for my liking but hope that would change when u r playing for a team who can actually win stuff Sagrin

as for prefering Montolivo over Fabregas.....well i'm pretty sure u r alone on this one Smile

and just how many of these matches did he play as a starter?10 maybe...

Fair enough, but how good is he really if he has managed to start only 10 matches for Roma the last 3 seasons?

well a lot of things can be said about those stats...
someone can say he just wasn't good enough and someone can say that coach didn't like him...and we know that no matter how good spalletti is as a coach putting taddei over him was a dubbious decision, and he repeated it many times...someone said earlier that totti, vucinic and menez was his best trio upfront and I completely agree...
I know that every time I saw this guy play he was a danger for opposing team, he easily dribbled his defenders, created chances...

Montolivo IMO is only player that can replace Pirlo's passing game, plus he is more dynamic and often helps in defense...btw excellent technique!!!!

I didn't say he won't spend , I think we will.
But I don't think we'll get Ganso for 30+ million, Hamsik for 25 -30 and certanly Not Cesc for 40.
I think we have a bit to spend but I think with what we bought last year , and Mexes and Taiwo renewing V.Bommel Ambro Seedorf renewing that we'll get a young midfielder for anywhere from 0-15 million.
I think this is what will happen .But I didn't say we won't spend.Just not as much as those guy's cost.Witsel Menez Asamoah are player's we have been linked to with a real strory.
Cesc Hamsik Pastore Ganso but Galli came out straight away and said no no no.
Yes he always does this but unless the price at least quarters and halfs in Cesc's case then a player of that level and price won't come , I think honestly.

He played for 3 coaches in Roma. Not saying I don't want Menez, just pointing that out.
