Seems Ibra is happy at PSG. He's on an good team, capable of going deep in UCL.. with other teams dissolving, his team is for the most part staying the same. He can take them close to the FINAL.. coming here would be starting over.
Ibra's game works nice in Italy... he has played most of his career in Italy.. he has a style of Italians.. it's easy for us to think he would want to come back but his latest comments indicate he is also very happy at PSG.
If that's the case, it sucks, but we should make a move for 2 outstanding midfielders.
The problem with Bacca and L Adriano is that they're both box players it seems. Do we plan to keep Menez and play him as a SS? I'm not sure the plan, but we will need midfielders. I still don't know who.
Bacca is a lot more then a box striker.
At this point, Ibra would be great and I won't complain if he came......but like you, I think a midfielder and a defender is of bigger need....not just for right now but for the future too.
If it's true that we will have a further 100mil to spend then we can even challenge for the title.

Honestly I agree with what Gazzetta said today: Milan may not need Ibra. We only saw them together on the pitch for about 30 minutes yesterday, but it looked Bacca and Adriano can play very well together. We also have Menez, who was our top scorer last season, and hopefully Niang can improve a bit as well. There's not a defence in Serie A that won't struggle against the players we already have.
The main reason we'd need a player like Ibra is his leadership skills. He's the kind of player who will raise the level of the team through his attitude. That being said, Mihajlovic has such a strong personality that I am not as worried about it as I normally would have been. He already seems able to get more out of his players than Pippo was ever able to.
We still have a lot of money left, so I think we will definitely make more signings before the transfer window closes. My prediction is that we will sign a defender and a midfielder, and then make a surprise signing during the "Three Days of the Condor" to really give the team that extra "oomph" before the season starts.
