The past few days have been quiet on the mercato. Where is Galliani these days? Did he travel to China with the team?

Yes

Inter signing Jovetic... Their mercato is excellent so far. We really need a few more transfers or else we wont get near CL spots.

On paper yes , but while a lot say its great we could also say ...Miranda for 15m is a risk he's 31 and as we saw with Alex years of great play signs for us at 31 he was 32 before teh season started and well he's been mediocre at best.
Montoya has 46 games under his belt at Barca in LaLiga at nearly 25 , he's unproven.
Murillo , new country language etc...
Kondogbia should be good ,but has been meh in pre season.
Jovetic is a risk just because he's made of glass.

Ofcourse its just conjecture but while saying its great on paper , it could also not work out.

I see on Calciomercato MilanNews & few other places that Soriano is reportedly to alternative for CM...not a great move hes pretty average.From Kondogbia to Witsel to whispers of Gundogan back to Witsel now Soriano.

Soriano is great for you. Midtable level player. Witsel, Gundogan, Kondogbia is too much for a midtable, garbage and mediocre club like you. You don't deserve them.

Romagnoli is 9-10 m euros player at most, you are playing 30 m euros for him to play for mediocre team.

Jovetic sounds like the kind of transfer that we would have made in the last couple of years, to be honest. A talented player, but it's been a few years since he was at his best. He could succeed, but I'd say there's only a 50/50 chance that he will.

Juve? Nah, they may be ladri, but when it comes to stealing our target, I am more worried about Roma and Inter.

Their mercato is good, but as JayCrisp said it is very high risk. I don't think it's spectacular, as a lot of the names they've signed are quite hyped too. Murillo's good, but I don't think he's going to suddenly become a world beater, imo Miranda's good, but again not world class. Kondogbia's a really good player, but they spent a fortune on him, so to return the cost he's going to have to perform at a very high level, moreso than he has done in his career so far. Jovetic is again a potentially great signing, but again very high risk.

I'm not trying to downplay Inter's mercato by any stretch of the imagination, if the pieces fall into place, they will be very strong this year. Point is, that's a very big IF at this point and with Mancini, things could easily go wrong.

I think we're in a similar situation, taking some risks on the market that may not come off, but again, if things fall into place then we'll be strong this year. Anyway, I'm not concerned at this point, we've still got a month to go this mercato and I expect we'll see 3 more signings, Romagnoli and Ibra being two of them.

Witsel hasn't been anything special since moving to Russia.  I would take Soriano for 10-12 m over Witsel for 30m.
