IMO,should buy these 2 players..Milan Desperately need Quality Midfields

should Spend 20M for Mascherano rather than Bertolacci
and 30M+10M for Gotze rather than Romagnoli

Do you think its thats easy ?
Mascherano is on huge wages & will cost quite a lot as he has 3 seasons left on his Barca contract.Such a big payout for 31 yr old isnt great business..If we moved for him & he cost around 10m with a 3/4m wage then id be all over it.But he'll cost north of 20m & want his wage matched.He has 3 years left to earn the 6m after tax.

Gotze would bo more join Milan than I'll score a gat trick in the Derby.

We have money but lets be realistic when mentioning players if possible

I don't see Barcelona letting one of their better players leave in August when they can't even get a replacement this summer. Makes negative sense.

Well if HE is the one pushing for a move to Italy, then he surely must know that nobody in Serie A will match his wages. I think he is prepared to take a cut. I have no clue what fee Barca will demand though. Either way, I can care less about this possibility. I admire Mascherano and I think he is a great player, but not what we need here. Sure he is an upgrade over many of our players, if not all of them that currently occupy his position/s. So in that aspect, it's hard to argue against this move. But still, this team is missing something else, something different then what Mascherano offers.

Wasn't Mascherano recently "promoted" to be the 4th captain of Barcelona? (Even though quite a few Barca fans seem to believe that he should be their first choice). I can't imagine him wanting to leave for us.

I remember when West Ham got both Tevez and Mascherano in the summer of 2006, and at the end of that season, they narrowly escaped the relegation.

Yeah and Mascherano bailed 16 weeks into the season

yeah, I remember there were a lot of abnormality and controversies surrounding that 2-in-1 transfer that summer, but can't remember many details about it now.

I brought it up simply because with hindsight, those two players would have brought any team up at least one level, but in 2006, we got Oliveira to replace Shevchenko.

Of course won't be easy..but not impossible...
Great Business..? Honestly at this moment, do you prefer spending 20M or 30M for Bertolacci and Romagnoli..?rather than 20M + 40M Mascherano, Gotze..?

it is realistic IMO..Just break the Salary caps (above 4M..) for players like them providing they're not injury prone or not finished player (Torres,essien type)..
I rather pay 6M salary for Mascherano than 1.5M each for 4x Nocerino/Poli type players...
During Ancelotti era we paid seedorf pirlo gattuso 6-8M salary..nobody complained because they deserved it and they showed it on the pitch..

Of course Milan is Not as attractive as before..that's why Milan need to overpay for transfer and salary..providing the overpay is for quality player (Mascherano Gotze).. 
Regardless of what Milan is Now (Not in CL,Sinking ship bla bla)..We are Still Milan..club with Rich History of Winning Trophy..so i'm sure some quality player still want to join Milan

I believe Roma are favourites for Mascherano and rumours have been going on with them for around a month. I also read he's been valued at 15m. If there's a chance of getting him, I'd go for him. He's still a world class talent that would be a massive upgrade over de Jong and Montolivo. He's a great leader on the pitch, defensively outstanding and is one of the most consistent passers in the game.

But if we get Mascherano then our chances of getting a proper technical mid take a big hit. I don't see De jong or Monty leaving this season.
