What difficulty were you playing on? I just decided to buy PES so I'll probably be able to provide my feedback by the end of the week. I was playing the demo on top player/superstar and it seemed competitive enough..

i didnt touch the difficulty options, so whichever is the default one, thats what i'm playing.

i didnt mean to say that the gameplay is too easy, but the master league negotiations are. i mean i paid about 35mils for neymar, and i sold agazzi for about 10 mils? and you can get pretty much any player ona loan-deal, you'll just have to pay for it. i remember real asked 12mil for bale's loan. thats just unrealistic.

Thanks for the feedback, the standard difficulty is pretty easy going. I think going up a level is generally about right for experienced players.

On Master League, I'm both happy and annoyed to hear the comments. In the past, they really screwed up the transfer season making it close to impossible to sign even pretty average players in the first season or two, so that you can get them is cool. However, it sounds like maybe it is too easy to buy/loan players.

Not quite as high as PES generally, but excellent scores for the most part. I also came across an interesting direct comparison from Kotaku. Haven't actually read it yet, but a quick browse suggests both have their strengths, but PES is probably the better game:

You know, while reading IGN's review I felt like the reviewer was trying to describe his ex-girlfriend. I'm actually surprised at that much negativity, and actually the score is too good compared to the written review! I'm shocked..

and while Gamespot will give any flagship game a minimum score of 8.5, their review along with Gamesradar's are pretty accurate with describing FIFA's strength and shortcomings. I highly recommend going with Gamesradar review. realistic review.

Like I said last year, I'm actually pretty happy and satisfied that both games are getting closer and closer to each other. It's again down to what the user likes better, and in some cases to what he's used to..(that's probably me )
Still waiting for Konami to kill EA though. hate that company.

tbh I thought the review was ok. It's obvious he thinks PES is significantly better this year and I think this is what lead to some of the frustrations he faced. However, when reading the review he does say what he thinks is good too, so while I kind of disagree with the comments he made about the gameplay issues (at least of what I've played), I felt it was somewhat balanced and the score reflected that.

On Konami killing EA, honestly right now I can't say I have a fondness of either (to put it mildly), but over the past year I don't think it's unfair to say EA's actually been the lesser of two evils. That's not to put EA under a good light, it's just how bad Konami have been.

There is an Italian option file available for PES and If you play ML with Milan, I'd suggest you download that. They have accurate stats for most players and do Serie B as well. So the information is rather on point as its actually made by people who watch Italian football.

They also do faces for lesser known players and overall, do a good job in terms of Italian football. I had used it for my PES 2013 save and I preferred it much more to other option files made by Non-Italian people.

For PC I think you can just download a patch to change all the team and competition names. Console I think you have to go in and do it manually...
