Not a good idea if you want to achieve smth. Simply Italy does not posses enough talent at the moment.

If they click maybe can challenge for scudetto, but no way in hell they will be a contender for CL for the years to come.

Quote:Cassano? He play alongside the other stars, with Ibrahimovic, with Robinho, Pato, Inzaghi, with Paloschi, with El Shaarawy

Paloschi and El Shaarawy are staying so if we are serious about reducing the squad size, what will happen?
Cassano could be a problem without regular playing. Proved.
He should be bought in January, when his price drops and the club are fed of him. Also proved.

Moggi said so.

Sharaawy shouldn't be counted as surplus since he is not a striker. From what I read, he is more an attacking midfielder.

Paloschi will be loaned out I think since we still have Inzaghi. Our strikers should be Pato, Ibra, Cassano and Robinho. Inzaghi 'shouldn't' be also counted as he is there just so he can end his career with Milan. Big Grin

Slow week this week.I see Inter say oh Sanchez is gone we just can't afford him , thats all well and good and true.but does anyone else think Italian clubs Milan and Inter in particular make themselves look lower level by all this we can't afford him that's too expensive we are not rich enough comments.
Just say nothing either don't bid or bid and have it rejected , but stop all this England and Spain are too rich we can't afford this and that.
Moggi can say whatever he wants. i'd not give a damn to him. As He is the person who stole our scudetto's... We cant depent on inzaghi as vice ibra, as he is too old to depent, considering he scored 4 goals in the last 2 season in Serie A.

Regarding Matri, i wouldnt calll him as mediocre, as he is pretty good player. He scored 20 goals this season in Serie A. He got his first call ups from Nazionale, scored his first goal.

He would be perfect vice ibra for us. He is good with the ball, he is really strong, he can hold the ball and can be wall in attacks and he is 20 goals scorer. he s not slow too... i like Matri...

From the way Galliani talked both will stay, actually it's pretty much official both will stay. True Sharaawy is not a striker but still the squad is big overall.

The squad is indeed big but not for position behind strikers though.

About what Galliani said, I don't trust him 100% even for telling something about a player will stay or not.
