In the near past I was praising them here, but after thinking about the names they bought, the amount of terrible transfers mistakes they did here is astonishing.
The amount of money they spent here(with so so players) makes me think theres something filthy about those transfers...
I hear ya Brasileiro , I was only 3/4 serious.
There has been a few dud's alright.I suppose for every Hulk and Falcao there is 6 bad signings.

Champion League
Roma: 19 matches/ 5 goals
Real: 5 matches/ 0 goal
Samp: 5 matches/ 1 goal (qualifying rounds only)
Total: 29/6
UEFA League
Roma: 8 matches/ 5 goals
Samp: 7 matches/ 2 goals
Total: 15/7
Not big-matcher, IMO.
How about assists?

Technically, there's no reason to lose him. He's an excellent player, a great impact player off the bench and provides goals and assists.
However, our squad needs trimming and he needs a starting spot ahead of next year's Euros, which is far from guaranteed. Also if things don't go his way, he could be a massive risk to squad harmony. Finally, he isn't hardworking and prepared to defend throughout a match, something Allegri demands from all his players.

At your service
I use other sources:
Champion League: 24 matches, 5 goals, no assist
Champion League Qualification: 2 matches, 1 goal, 1 assist
UEFA Cup & Europa League: 14 matches, 5 goals, 5 assists
Total: 44, 13, 6 (the totals are the same, the details are a bit different)
WC & Euro Qualification: 10 matches, 3 goals, 3 assists
Euro (04 & 08): 7 matches, 2 goals, 1 assist
The harder the matches, the lower the stats...
interesting transfer movements with Torino:
they have signed Verdi (bought half), Oduamadi (loan with option to buy half), & Coppola (loan) from Milan. (not sure about the types of transfer, it is the best I could translate from Italian)
In the Verdi deal we also got half of Gianmario Comi, aparently a youngster.
Not gonna get in the selling halves business but what is interesting is building ties with Torino (probably a la Genoa & Cagliari) which might have to do with our interest in Ogbonna...
Come other interesting news is about Cesc....although he is expected to be announced this week at Barca...there is an article how Fly Emirates, which is a common sponsor of Arsenal & Milan would prefer to have him join Mian instead although am not sure how serious that is....but if Hamsik is for worth 20+Cassano, then Obviously Fabregas for 35 would be the better deal

Is this not admitting we have no hope of winning the CL ???
Saying that Milan don't have 30 million to spend on a player let alone 40.
And even he we did and he arrived that it would still not be enough to win the CL.
God all our Players and MGT do is talk about who won't be coming and how little money have to spend
CLAP CLAP CLAP LADS CLAP CLAP!!!

If we're talking about Cesc coming, it's also worth noting that while Galliani said there's zero chance of Hamsik, he only said Fabregas is going to another team, not completely ruling him out. Speculation, yes, but it makes life a little more exciting given the lack of news in recent weeks.

I think it's fair to say we're currently a level below top teams like Real and Utd, and we need a couple of important transfers to bring us up to that level. Hamsik is an excellent player, but at this point he isn't a player that will immediately raise the side to new levels. Meanwhile Barca are on another level to everyone. He didn't say we have no hope in CL, but I would say he was being realistic about our chances.
That said, I wouldn't rule us out in Europe, as we have a very good side. Our forward line is world class as is our defence (hopefully Mexes and Taiwo will only strengthen this claim). Our midfield is our biggest issue at the moment, but unlike last season during key times we can rely on Van Bommel or Ambro in front of the defence. If I'm brutally honest, our problem areas are the other midfield positions, namely the left midfield (a position we're looking at new players for) and Rino's own position. I say this because while he did really well last season, he's not young and has shown his age (even last season).

Perhaps they were asked by our management to do so, as part of our transfer strategy you know. In the past players rarely comment about other transfer rumor that doesn't concern them and the only comments we read were given by the directors or agents, but not nowadays. That's why almost everytime T. Silva speaks to the journalist he mentions about Ganso.
per l'amaro e il dolce
i think that Hamsik is the only big name we could sign for LCM.
-Fabregas will be a Barcelona player soon.
-Bale is not LCM and he costs more than Hamsik.
-We have Raiola
-Hamsik wants Milan, just read how he praises Seedorf on today's GDS.
-Juventus soon will make a great signings. Aguero's asking price is 40 m euros, now Juve is offering 35. just 5 m euros difference. inter will make too. This can force Berlusconi make signings...
-Allegri rates Hamsik high and wants him at Milan. He wants a very tecnique midfielder to replace Pirlo, who can score goals...
Regarding Hamsik, i rate him high. i read that 5 coaches were giving opinion about this signing on yesterday's GDS. One of them was talking about how he lacked international experience, he was right. Hamsik is great player for Serie A but he needs to prove himself at CL...
This is why 40 m euros is way too much for Hamsik ,considering Barcelona can sign Fabregas around same kind of value... Same age, but Fabregas is a star for Arsenal, for Premier. He was a star in CL, was match winner. i just remember how he eliminated both Milan and Juve with his great goals...
i also think that Hamsik wont be enough to win CL even if we sign him. Barcelona is about to sign both Sanchez and Fabregas, Chealse with Willas Boas will make some great signings. Real will be stronger. Manchester will be stronger. Bayern will be stronger. juve will be difficult team very soon. if they sign Aguero, Aguero, Krasic partnership will be deadly, especially on counters. They have money from new stadium, they can sign bigger names as well when they will have CL...
Milan depents on very old players on midfield. i think that we dont the real problem. Ambro, Gattuso and Van Bommel...we dont know how they will perform next season. i think that we need Banega or Vidal for there.
Regarding Ganso, his injuries and his stylee has always been a questionmark for me. However he is very expensive...
i like Lucas Marcelinho so much. His dribbling and pace is something amazing. he is strong, his deep passes, his 1 on 1 passing very good. Lamela is great talent but he didnt show himself at high level. i consider Brazil league is higher than theirs...

I think our mid just isn't good enough without one world class (as they say) addition and a very very good addition both to be starters .
There is currently zero creativity in midfield.
And while I agree that our forward line is awesome , Ibra Binho Pato still have never done it in crunch CL game's and thats a fact.Im not saying they won't but up until they have been disappointing in that competition.
Rino was being realistic yes.But I'm sick and tired of hearing who we won't sign and I'd like to see some action.
Mexes is a nice addition and Taiwo is a good player , El Shaarawy we'll see he's real young.
You need a great defence to win , but defence's don't win you game's if you / ye get me .I don't see any really good midfielders left right centre attacking or defensive out of contract or fighting with the owner that we'll go for.Nasri has a year left so he was a possibility but Utd are willing to offer 24 million euro City 30 million.Which I assume puts him out of our price range.
V.Bommel and Ambro great careers both 34 and seedorf 35 we will be relying on them without proper signings.
We face the same problem every year , and now is the time to spend because after this mercato with FFP there is no way we will be able to compete with the English clubs or Barca Real or Munich or Juve (due to stadium earnings) .
We need youth speed and creativity in midfield plain and simple no way around it, you cannot disagree (no one in particular is it aimed at ) We have another 2 months so hopefully something happens .
