Thanks, I'm not too surprised about Cutrone, though when I've seen him for the senior side he doesn't look quite ready. I believe this is his second outstanding season in Primavera now. I'm a big fan of Felicioli, he's one I wouldn't mean seeing make a step up.

I saw the highlight. And not that impress by the performance despite us winning big scoreline. The future looks bad for italian football if im honest.

I'm actually a lot more optimistic, so I'll disagree on that with. I think Italian football has some bright up and coming talents that are just entering their 20s or are in their early 20s.

The problem with the primavera is that at that age, you are going to have a lot of players that are simply not good enough and they never will be...which makes for some sloppy games.

The key is to incorporate the great young players with real professionals in maybe Serie B and than it won't look so bad. The idea of a Reserve league is very enticing, but it won't happen. Something that gives a bridge to the really good young players in the Primavera level before playing top level in Serie A. Something within the lines of a U23 Reserve League. Unfortunately, as much as I love Italy as a country, everything is stuck in time and everything takes ages to change over there. It's just the Italian mentality.

But the good players will sooner or later find themselves doing good things. The problems is that some of them will fall through the hands of the system and will lose themselves. You can only develop so much when playing with 18 year olds who are simply nowhere near your level. You need to play with better players to keep developing.

I think this is fair, at the least I think 2-3 of the guys in the Primavera, of which Gamarra is quite possibly the first name, should have a chance to train with the first team squad during preaseason and the initial friendlies. This isn't to say they'll all be promoted, just they have an opportunity to show their ability and get a feel for the senior level. A few who I think should be considered for this are De Santis, Gamarra and Felicioli, as well as possibly one of the three forwards (Cutrone, Vido, Vassallo).

If any of them surprises and looks ready to deliver for the first team squad, then obviously they could be promoted, otherwise we look at alternative solutions, either asking them to play in Primavera for one more year, or see if there are opportunities for them to continue growing out on loan. Speaking of which, until now our loan deals have almost always ended with a bust with the players not being used, so that needs to be remedied quickly.

Galliani said that Brocchi was only given a two-month contract, so if it doesn't work out with senior team, he will go back to Primavera.

Maybe they don't need any coach now. Players should all be sent home and start their summer early.
