Let's hope it's true. The news has been circling around for a couple of days and it's getting stronger by almost all news agencies adopting it now! Fininvest hasn't denied anything, so I'm certain there is truth in it....but I'm also certain that some of the details are way off like always!

Seems at this point the obstacle is Berlusconi not wanting to sell majority. Of course how much the team is worth is an issue but this is negotiable.

So in one sense this is already ahead of Mr.Bee's offer because it really looks like the money is available.

I think the Bee scenario is one which fell apart due to the Chinese economy more than anything. I doubt lightning would strike twice if Silvio is serious about selling.

Dev, I think Bee simply used Milan for his own publicity gain. He didn't "fail" because Chinese economy is slowing down, but he was never able to get money anyway. 

That's also why I did the quotation mark for the word "fail", because I think he really succeeded in what he wanted to achieve.

Even if so.... there will always be economic down turns, if owning a minority (in Mr.Bee's case) of a football team failed because of the Chinese economy then imagine what could happen if economy was good but the down turn happened 2 years after he got the 48%?
