ANSA - a 6-year sentence asked for Paolo Scaroni
MILAN, NOVEMBER 13 - The deputy Pg of Milan Massimo Gaballo has requested a conviction on appeal at 6 years and 4 months for Paolo Scaroni, former CEO of Eni and now president of Milan, who had been acquitted in the first instance in the trial with the center the Saipem-Algeria case for alleged international corruption. He also asked for the conviction of Eni (acquitted at first instance) as a legal person with a pecuniary sanction of 900 thousand euros and for the confiscation of the price of the crime, about 197 million dollars. For the prosecutor, the 7 first degree sentences must be confirmed.
