me and my girls had to finished all the Japanese foods together because we paid for "all you can eat package" for one person, so it's kinda wasting the money if you eat less :D

I spended time in the areas close to Playa del Carmen where I stayed. went to Chichen Iza, Valladolid and some jungle/cave tours. I did the clubbing in playa del Carmen and it was good.
I did regret I didn't do any longer side trips. especially that I didn't fly to Cuba with some other Swedes I met.

Xcaret was a nice "nature zoo/theme park". a bit expensive, but with a great buffet included ;) My camera ran out of battery there, so I don't have some of the best pictures from there in digital form.

They are all from my parents' town, 2 hrs south of Naples.
Don't know actually...It was 1 month we were burning under the sun, it's normal we look very tanned.

Jim, that picture was taken last summer (August) , so exams were behind. Otherwise, i would have really struggled to get some decent concentration.

My picture with a backpack-harness is taken at Mission Peak, San Fran. bay area.
The ocean is at Point Lobos / Big Sur south of Monterey, California (northern).
The city is San Freaksicko, also CA, with the tallest building on the picture being 56 story high.
(if you ever want to get a nice view with food or drinks in SF, get to the Bank-of-America building's top floor)
The rusty ships are from Ensenada, a Mexican port.
The lake is Tahoe lake ( CA and Nevada) taken from Mt. Tallak, 3000m high.

Hey Mr Santiago! Still on mission. Will be done with it July 2009. My son's fine from what I hear. :5schal:THANKS FOR ASKING:5schal: I havent sent for them to join me, because he's too young for travel. At least that is what I and my wife feel. She thought it best and safer for her to raise him back home. I agreed with little or no reservations. So from what I hear, he's doing well. Just havent got the chance to see him yet.
You know this mission the second time around is really fun! As the 1st counselor to the Mission President, I dont need to go walking or biking around like I did a decade and a half years ago. I still do some nitty gritty. Literally constructing schools and houses and other various civil works projects. The latest nitty gritty task me and some young missionaries completed was the construction of a new viaduct to get some vegetable farmers water they badly needed for their fields. The credit goes to the local farmers who went forward with this task with great enthusiasm. None of this would have ever manifested without each others shared support.
For the most part, I do more business meetings and organizing and social appearances to various towns and hamlets in east part of South Korea. Lot of travelling back to Seoul to conduct temple ordinances (baptisms, marriages, etc). I got the Stake in this area out of debt for the first time and devised some market strategies for them so that they can be more efficient/wise with their expenditures. Worst thing that can happen to a non-profit organization/church is going into constant debt on overhead. Nothing or little goes back out to the community. So I and another $whiz$ had these guys wisely invest to hedge overhead costs. Worked out real good. Now they have to take over and I hope they do so with the highest vigilence and integrity.
The food is great, but can get at times monotonous. Lot of ginger, garlic, and onions in their diet. Luckily... living in a coastal city affords me the luxury to get seafood comparable to that in Hawaii. All comes from the same place when I think about it! LOL! If I try real hard I can find or get some home ingredients rarely found in this part of the world to create some delectable edibles that remind me of home.
Anyway, anyhow, I end up writing a big commentary to a simple (YET MUCH APPRECIATED) question. Please forgive me as its been a while since I got to really engage in dialogue with a member here. Nice that it was you SANT.

I found another pic! Not of me but of my 1st cousin and most trusted friend Kaha'i. Back in 2003 he and I went to Italy for almost 2 months doing nothing but following AC Milan. He really isnt big into football, but I noticed in this picture of Kaha'i, he has a noticeable gift that I gave him.

It seems that my idea of a Bond movie has got some attention here; I have to disclose the other parts of the movies as well. As you can see that I am an innovator so I will bring some changes in a Bond movie, as they have become slight boring due the same old plot + this new Bond Daniel Greg (or Craig, what ever) really shocks me that how on earth he has became the one to play the role which was once played the charismatic Roger Moore, Pierce Brosnan & Sean Conery. He doesn't even have good hair
Anyway my Bond movie will be a big change. First of all its title will be changed from 007 to 0057. Of course my Bond (Jim_UK) will be Romantic, not a Coward. But this time Bond will not be in search of the bad guys to fight & kill, instead he will be looking for a True Love in life & this is the big change I am talking about. Bond will say, "Enough of this bloodshed & flirts will hot women, let’s have a true love & get some life".
Bond starts his journey & finally reaches a Law college Macedonia, where he meets the new Bong Girl (Rossonerka) :pp18:. But she says 'NO' to the Bond by saying that she is already engaged (virtually) to some one via MilanMania. Bond kind of feels heart break & plans to return England. But before that he decides to see a Volley ball match of Italian U21 team to relax a bit after that painful NO from the Bond Girl. During the match he meets a young Italian player (Zlatanov), who will be the Mr.Nice guy of the movie. He tips Bond not to feel any let down & concern a Love Guru, a resident of Sweden (Kris). Bond here sees a new lifeline & starts his journey towards Sweden.
Mean while the villains of the movie (Sant & Jeff) :devs: start feeling life pretty boring without any resistance. They decide to get the attention of Bond once again to have some fun & action. For this purpose the get the latest on Bond from their syndicate in Europe, lead by a person nick named 'the Old Lady' (Tony29). This guy also has many casinos throughout the Europe. He provides all the latest information on Bond & his flop love story. They all decide to kidnap the Bond Girl & then threaten Bond himself.
At the same time when Bond reaches Sweden, he finds that the Love Guru has been on vacations with some one called Miss Stacy :2dance: Bond meets a friend (Rico) of the Love Guru, who tells Bond to meet a ‘Ladies Man’ (Giovanni) :p3129: living in Milan, Italy to get some tips on how to get the attention of the Bond Girl :5love: Bond starts moving towards Italy, but on his way he gets a phone call from his well wisher from France, a Millionaire (GeoTav). He tells Bond about the evil plans of the villains.
Bond some how reaches Milan, Italy. There Bond comes face to face with the villains with the Bond Girl in their hold. Then we all know what is supposed to happen in a Bond movie. When things calm down, Bond finds himself with the Bond Girl, Ladies Man, French Millionaire & Mr. Nice Guy, near a well known football stadium. Bond also finds out that the vacation spot of the Love Guru is Milan, Italy.
Now the scene is that Ladies Man, French Millionaire, Mr. Nice Guy & Love Guru all are requesting the Bond Girl to say ‘Yes’ to the true Love of Bond, but Bond Girl insists that she can’t be selfish & the person to whom she is (virtually) engaged via MM is also a nice young man. Then there will be a short appearance of the virtual boyfriend (mzk57) of the Bond Girl. Bond girl with her virtual boyfriend go to see the Milan city :beach: where as the others go to that well known stadium to see some live football :3band:
The END
