But they could save the airfare (and not have to wear the white robes) and just move to parts of rural Utah and Northern Arizona here in the USA...it is rumoured that they still have polygamy there amongst the Mormons. They had to promise to abolish the practice so Utah could become a state back at the turn of last century, but it still exists there in isolated pockets of fundamentalists. As for a place where women have more than one husband...I think there are parts of Polynesia or Micronesia where this happens. That is also a good idea. One cute one for the lovin', one handy guy for the household chores and one smart boy to make some money...hehehe... :rolleyes: ...since it is so hard to find one in which all those qualities co-exist.

kris, there were still a few well into the '80s (probably are still some now)--"communes" they called them. Nowadays, if I meet someone with a "normal" American name who is around my age, I just know they changed it from some typical 60s commune moniker like Wheatberry, Rainbow, Love, Hai, Karma, Dharma or Ho Chi Minh (I actually knew kids with all these names back in the day, and they all changed their names :rolleyes: )...I was about one hour from being named Rhiannon. My mom sayd the "free love" was over-rated...but isn't that like dissing the ocean to someone who lives in Kansas?

Hey, I went to catholic school (Go St. Paul's Celtics!) for 15 years, so I would say I am pure as the driven slush ;). Naw, I am just from San Francisco, and you see everything here...all you need is one trip to the Folsom Street Fair (and beleive me, one is enough) to have seen everything there is to be seen. Nothing shocks me. As a matter of fact, I used to do some contract art work for this guy who was "Mr. Polk Street Leather 1999" and while all the other people at work would be staring at his photos and turning various shades of red or crossing themselves, I just used to think: "oh look, that guy on the left must be jewish..." ;)

if you catholic was anything like my catholic private all boys high school than you are wilder than most think:D kidding aside i know the feeling...where i go for my tattoos is in "gay village"...needless to say nothing shocks me either....intereting areas for piercings if you know what i mean...i guess i've been fortunate enough to have experienced many of things in my 30 years...the pinnacle has to be the gay pride parade here which is the largest in North America....one year i had to go downtown with my girlfriend at the time of the parade....my God, i learned to respect women when you say that you feel like a piece of meat....thank god for my girlfriend who proteted me from all those gay men in chaps...and only chaps..can you say VILLAGE PEOPLE...:D
