Milan will face Lugano in the first anual of Trofeo Casinò Lugano I. All I know about this team is that they have played 4 matches in their division and they have 2 draws, 1 win and one major 0-4 lost against FC Vaduz. They are currently in the ninth place at the table.
Milan has loaned out the 21 years old Catilina Aubameyang to Lugano.

Gilardino-Sheva to score 3 together at least. And if Kaka plays behind them? My bet would be 4-0.

Anything less than 5 goals is a disappointing for me. I guess it will be 0-7 for our red and black devils :devs: .
:rone: :rone: hatrick for Gilardino :rone: :rone:

I hope it's a rout as well. Anywhere to see this match?
This is the lineup: dida-- cafu-stam-nesta-jankulovsky--pirlo-seedorf-gattuso-kaka--sheva-gila
With cafu on the right and marek on the left we can attack on flanks and try some new stile of attack. We'll see how marek will do, hpoe to see him doing bettter than kaladze!
And sheva-gila, well....

I am confident of a big win, and even more importantly, I would like to see a shut out.
I expect goals from Sheva, Gila, Vieri (when he comes on..of course) and Pirlo, but wouldnt be surprised to see Clarence getting on the scoreboard.
I guesstimate about a 5-0 pounding....:D
Agree with the general opinion here. Hoping for a big win!

yeah we are gonna see more attacks on the flanks now with Cafu and Jankulovski. Carlo should take it easy on janku because we don't want him to break again.
I wan't possitive answers from this game.

jankulovski still injured..., is he?
No, Jankulovski is ready again...
Don't expect to see a big win, this is still only pre-season, I expect maybe a 2-0 for Milan...
But important that Dida, Kaka, Sheva and Jankulovski will get some match practice before the start of the season.

I want to see a respectable performance which displays that preparations are on the right track. Whether we score or not I don't care about (I don't care if we lose the match).
What counts most is that the team is looking fitter than before (though I suspect they may get tired due to intensive training at Milanello) and are working together as a unit, both in the attacking sense and defensive sense, with the players having a good idea now of their role (Seedorf seemed quite unsure about his role in America to give an example)
I agree, we need good and confident seedorf. And hungry for more!! Also, I would like to see some defensive improvement, mostly from our midfielders like clarence and pirlo. Its the hard of out team and that was the main problem last season. sheva-kaka-gila can always score, its important that we can re-posses the ball and then create some stuff. Janku should play only 45 min. He will be a big boost for our left side!

MILANELLO - Carlo Ancelotti spoke about the team preparation at this
stage of pre-season training: 'We have worked a lot on different
exercises. I think it will help and from tomorrow we have a cycle of
three games in which we can work on tactics. At this stage we have
been getting the motors going, we having been looking for consistency,
we will alternate between fitness training and working exclusively
towards games. The important thing is that the the programme is
respected and the players feel good.'

Well done Rui Costaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!
Make life hard for Carlo, Rui! Give him a hard decision to make with regard to your starting status!!! Keep scoring..he will then be veeeery reluctant to bench you!!

Bobo again! Nice double Vieri!!! 7-0!
Shame gila hasnt scored....
Gila don't score DAMN!
Vieri 2 goals and other amazing match for Rui Costa
Vieri is the top goalscorer with 4 goals and Rui Costa with 3 goals.

Well, Gila not scoring isnt a worry for me, as much as his overall contribution to the attack..I heard mention of him in the build up for a couple of the goals...which at this stage is of equal importance IMO.
Glad to see us crush a team like that...and I hope this is a prelude of things to come...granted Lugano arent Serie A or UCL quality opponents, but there is nothing wrong in using them as a sparring partner.
Importantly as well, we didnt concede, even with the 3 man back line, though Carlo admitted that it gave us some problems...something to consider...
Gila only played 45 minutes of that match.
I suppose that Gila would play more minutes against Juventus.
Gilardino - Vieri - Shevchenko great attack!!

Kaka´s goal was a tap in after a good pass from Vogel to Sheva, who touched it to Gila, who squared it for Kaka.
Jankulovski scored after a good corner cross, only for it to stumble in the area and he blasted it.
Sheva scored from close range.
Serginho seems to have scored a good goal, after chesting it and shooting with the outside of his left foot. But a good pass from Rui.
Vieri ´s fifth goal im not sure. Rui assisted it.
Rui seems to have scored a briliant goal.
Vieri scores from 5 yards on the volley, after a great Rui cross.
I need highlights for the game to make me enjoy. We played with Carlo´s favoured formation (tactical setup) for first half and only 2-0. 2nd half we switched to 3 man defence with Pirlo, Gattuso, Rui, and vieri coming on and a few others (eg kaladze simic ardemagni..).
Gila did not score :/ I just want to know did he play well with Sheva and Kaka up front? and how did Marek do? How was Sheva-Vieri?

Another excellent game from Rui Costa with 3 assist and a goal. Keep up the good work rui. When rui got on the pith it was a complete diffrent game. When the team converted to a 3 man defence they pulverized lugano.

I watched the match live on MilanChannel TV, Gila did play quite bad with Sheva, he's clearly a bit confused and too shy at the moment... he's young and AcMilan is a completely different Universe from parma... he need time to grow.
Vieri did extremely well, not only the 2 goals, he's in great shape and has a huge determination to impress, I think he will play with Sheva at the beginning of the season until gila is not back at his level.
Excellent (as usual) Cafu an Rui.
I expect at least 7-8 goals from our guys :)
Nice prediction :5ok:
serginho, rui costa, n vieri have been amazing in these friendlies. i wonder if this will change the starting line up??????

Il capitano...thanks so very very much!
I really enjoyed the highlights, and I must say that the Rui Costa goal was due in no small part to the brilliant dribble and backheel from our young forward...whose name I cannot pronounce much less spell.
If the youngster can duplicate this abbreviated performance vs Serie A clubs, then I am in no hurry to get another striker...but thats a big IF
We looked good, and though Gila didnt score, he did play a role in assisting one of the goals, and goals will come for him I am sure.

No one has commented on the 2 great passes by Ardemagni (for Vieri and Rui goals)
maybe we have a young 5th striker after all...
