so my head question is when it will be draw of second Round in champion
league

You know, I am so glad that Dil dil opened this thread, as I have a prediction to make:

We will get either Bayern or Chelsea as our opponents for the first fixture in the knock out round...my money is on us to face Bayern.

Wish I could honestly say I fear no team, but Barca is the team on form at the moment. Even with a "B" squad, they were able to defeat Udine (while some may point that this was the same Udine that we trounced...let me remind those that we used an "A" team in doing so).

ok guys i just had a preminition.. Barca will get a chance for revenge against Chelsea while we get Benfica..

Actually come to think of it, the best team that we NEED is Bremen, because their defence is so OPEN and they always open up so much when they attack.. We can score alot of goals against them which will boost our confidence so much

I think we can beat every team in the Champions League. Of course I also know that Barcelona and Chelsea, and also Bayern are very great teams, but if we buy a defender in January and if the players find back their confidence, I think we can beat everyone. Also because Milan seems to be more concentrated when they play Champions League.

Milan chief Adriano Galliani was disappointed with the draw for the next stage of the Champions League. "We wanted to avoid Bayern Munich," he said.

The Rossoneri face a tough task to get through to the quarter-finals after being drawn against the German champions.

Bayern finished second to Juventus in their qualifying group and even inflicted one of only two defeats the Bianconeri have suffered this season.

Juve’s other loss was at the hands of Milan in Serie A, which should make their clash with the men from Munich a mouth-watering tie – not that Galliani thinks so.

"We wanted to avoid Chelsea and Bayern," said Galliani after the draw was made today at UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland.

"They are literally dominating the English and German championships respectively.

"We do have a good record against them," he admitted. "But obviously, we’re talking about a great club and a great side. I can’t exactly call this a good draw for us.

"It’s a shame that one of us must go out at the last 16 stage, but that’s the luck of the draw for you."

Well, I cannt say I share Galliani´s pessimisim...if we lose, we do so to a team that can potentially win the tournament...nothing wrong with that...if we win, then we have defeated a European giant...a real confidence builder for the next round of matches.

I am so excited, I cannot wait for the UCL to restart!!!

Well, without hard work from 11players we could lose.

I think we should push Kaka and Seedorf higher up the pitch
and play with 1 striker.Then we can bring in an extra midfielder to even the numbers in the midfield postion.Knowing the Germans I am sure they have already started studying that liverpool match.

IMO we should win the match vs Bayern. Curious to see if Inzaghi can score 4 again against Kahn :). We should not be worried.

Despite wanting to avoid Bayern, I can't say I'm too disappointed. Either way, we have to come up against good sides sometime and this match will hopefully bring the best out of the side and some confidence, who of late seem to be unable to keep consistent.

i heard some people said the draw system is weird, if big teams play each other at this stage of competition, it doesnt mean it is weird. as i said, if we are going to win this competition, we have to beat whoever that we face. yes we really need a defender in january, my feeling is it will be lugano, he is a damn fine defender. i dont mind chivu either.

What I am more concerned about is the ref...a Nordic ref will favour the Germans, while a Latin ref will favour us...
