I wouldn't mind if he comes - provided he changes his behavior - but I think there are a number of better options out there ... not saying they would be easy to get but then again Adriano wouldn't be either.

I put at least 5 players before him as better options: Gaucho, Villa, Eto'o, Pato and Drogba.

I would take a chance at him, especially if its between him or Cassano (or another RO).
Not my first option, but I wouldnt mind at all if we could snatch him.

Some players Id rather get before Adriano?
Eto'o, Drogba, Tevez to name 3.

I like him football, he is strong, objective and have a amazing finnish but in the same time he don´t have any ethic and is a very bad professional

Milan is a team that could save Adriano because Ancelotti knows about team spirit and the brazilian could feel confortable and motivated to play

Anyway I think would be a dangerous acquisition, I prefer Shevchenko, Crespo or Huntelaar

Nordahl

I would take Cassano over Adriano without hesitation.

I would take Adriano as a last resort option.
Definetly would prefer someone else like Eto'o, Shevchenko, Drogba

How many years are left in Adriano's contract? He can be a monster, just not released by Moratti.

Giorgos

I am happy for your participation..... Adriano is one of my favorites players. My first option is Sheva, then Drogba, I don't think there is a chanse of Eto'o coming. So i would desperate wanted to take him, you never forget football....

He's great player and I hope Moratti will be smart enough to keep him in Inter, after his father die two years ago he losing himself and I just hope that he will find right direction.

That he lives like Kaka (church, faith,Jesus and all that) he would be unstopblle, huge potential, maybe the bigest in the world but Mancini doesn't see that or he doesn't know how to use it.

There is a ruomor that Moratti and Berlusconi made the deal when Milan let Suazo in Inter, I hope that's not true.

Ex-Inter players are successfull at Milan (Pirlo, Seedorf).
He is a Brasilian, and Milan are known as positive surrounding for them.
With disciplined approach, he could be splendid striker.

Totally agreed. Adriano is in the wrong place ( argentina of Inter) and still young. A change of environment will be good for him( together with Brazilian at Milan ) . just like our 99

It would be nice to have him in Milan , but only if he can find his form, and in the same time I would prefer Ronaldinho, Drogba, Etoo, Pato or even Cassano over him

I would take Adriano as a last resort option.

It sounds like desperation to me, like last year when we couldn't get any decent striker after the calciopoli and the departure of Sheva, then we wasted 15 mil for RO.

Sacchi once said that Adriano is one of the most devastating players he has ever seen. In his prime condition, he's lethal. I think the atmosphere in Milan will do him good, a place where he can start all over again, just like Ronnie.

IMO He's been the 2nd best Striker in Italy in recent times only coz he's been
overshadowed by $heva.. Other than that.. i would risk my nuts on him than
any other striker in Italy (Toni for e.g)

Other than a few good moves here and there Adriano adds nothing to Milan...He isn't very fast, he has no right foot etc etc.... I'd rather not get anyone than to take him. He was supposed to be Ronaldo's heir but we all know how that turned out :v46:

No, thanks. Adriano has shown in the past 2-3 years that he has virtually no commitment to the game.

Ex-Inter players are successfull at Milan (Pirlo, Seedorf).
Favalli and Vieri have made that argument exceedingly less valid.

I dunno what our management was thinking when they bought vieri in the first place.
l.e.:imo, as Galliani said in a statement , moratti won't give us even his officer press right now , after pirlo and seedorf episodes :w154:

Adriano is tough to call. How well he will work in our team is debatable and whether he has the mentality to succeed in Milan is questionable.

On the other hand, when on form he's a monster, someone who is easily amongst the best forwards in the world.

On the cheap, he's worth the risk, but realistically I doubt he's the one we'll get, as we're talking about having to dealing with Inter.

Favalli and Vieri have made that argument exceedingly less valid.

I wouldn't count Favalli on that list, I think he did pretty well overall last season. He was never going to be a huge hit at Milan, but he filled in at LB when asked to, never had any particularly poor performances and even contributed a few goals.

I would take Cassano over Adriano without hesitation.

What? Adriano is still young and he has a year or two to spare to loose some weight and be back in full form, making him a great player, and imagine the brazilians we'll have? Power house if you ask me. Kaka,Ronaldo,Cafu,Adriano .. Awesome.

Adriano as top signing?No.
Adriano as Inzaghi.. replacement?Yes.

He is strong, maybe not the fastest but with his strength and width he can break throug any defense. His left foot is destructive, to bad he isn't able to shoot too well with his right, but that can be improved. He also delivers powerful headers.
The only thing he'll need to work on is attitude, bit more motivated.
I'd be glad to welcome him in our Brazilian colony !

Adriano fans Rossoneri flames Wednesday 4 July, 2007

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Inter’s enigmatic Brazilian hitman Adriano has intensified speculation about his future by admitting he would like to play for rivals Milan.

Recently, Milan President Silvio Berlusconi surprisingly stated his desire to see L’Imperatore as a Rossonero and now it appears that the troubled marksman may feel the same way.

“It’s difficult to leave a club like this. I want to have a good season with Inter and satisfy the fans,” he told Brazilian website Globoesporte.

“However, I would like to play for Milan or Real Madrid, but that’s nothing concrete.”

Adriano had a tough 2006-07 campaign and recieved more Press attention for his indiscretions off the pitch than his performances.

Given his personal differences with Coach Roberto Mancini and the arrival of Honduran striker David Suazo, many felt the 25-year-old may take the chance to move on to pastures new.

--------------------------------------------

I would hope we don't sign him, he's too limited in his abilities and doesn't compliment Ronaldo at all.

Our options slim down as the days go by.. Etoo off the list.. R10 off the list.. No matter what you guys think of Adriano, he may just be that signing Galliani has been bragging about, because.. you know. It's not easy to sign anyone right now whos as big as Galliani is talking about.. Id be absolutely estatic if we could get Adriano for a cheap price after his behavious/ bad form and then also add in a mid like Quaresma,C.ronaldo, or Ronaldinho :)

This secret star was always going to be an Inter player, but maybe it wasn't Ibrahimovic after all.

The Adriano of 3-4 years ago was phenomenal. I dont know about the current one, one thing for sure is he would need a good amount of an adjustment period, so what's the point in getting him when we need someone who will come in and make an immediate impact. Same with Cassano....Suazo would have fit the bill quite well, would have hit the ground running at Milanello...but then again, he chose to the "self-destruct" (inter) option.

I suppose I could settle for Adriano if we can get a mid like Quaresma too..

SkyEdge
10-07-2007, 21:04
seriously why would anyone be rooting for Cassano anyways?
(1) the guy causes team disharmony
(2) he's a Prima-Donna
(3) he hardly played matches for Madrid (did he even start under capello?)
(4) he's prolly been joining Ronaldo (when he was still there) at the buffet table
(5) he's been helping Beckham on shopping trips when they were both dropped

Leave him in R.Madrid thx.. I'd settle for Adriano anyday for goals as he more or less
dwarf Cassano's scoring records.. There's a reason they called him EMPEROR before

TO be honest, I think Cassano is the most talented and gifted player in Italy since Baggio.

However, his act is really something.
