Second, this is going to prove to be a hard game, and is open to all possible results.
However, it is a must-win for us, and I have faith in our boys, once again. Especially after the poor display against Siena, this is a good chance for them to redeem themselves. Rui Costa, ahhhh.. definitely one of my favourite players. Prolly the most talented one in the Ancelotti era. I think if Milan don't win convincingly we will be in trouble for the next few weeks. We rested our key players over the weekend just for this game, so we have no excuses.

I'm going to get a little emotional myself when I see Rui Costa in the San Siro again. God I've missed the maestro, but he has a good team behind him so this isn't going to be a walk in the park as many are predicting.

Carlo expects a drastic improvement in play of course, but don't be too suprised if we go out to a draw tonight IMHO. I hope the team doesn't wait until later in the CL stage to turn on the heat (as we always do), but make a strong first statement for our campaign, right here at the San Siro.

Not a bad performance so far. Some mistakes at the back (wake up Kala), fairly good going foward - though Benfica are playing very negatively and giving Pirlo space. Oddo is better than usual, Kaka quiet so far. I hope we don't become complacent or Carlo gives us a defensive midfield.

Gorky had a slight injury after a u-21 game (for the same reason he missed the Genoa or Viola game, or maybe both, and we learned that only later on) and that whole game he played vs Siena might have agrevated things, so him not being on the bench could well be a forced decision.

I personally doubt Carlo would prefer getting 3 players like Favalli, Bonera, Simic and deprive himself of an offensive mid given that there is no such other player currently available in case Kaka or Seedorf need to be subbed.

Good display by Milan in the first half, bar a couple of lapses in concentration at the back, let's hope we keep up the guard in the 2nd half too as a 2-0 result is a the most dangerous one in football.
