View Full Version : OFFICIAL: Kaká to Real Madrid
LOL ManU supposedly want 75million pounds for c7 from RM. This is getting funnier and funnier.
Im at a good place right now, i dont think i will shed a tear if Kaka leaves come monday. I believe in R80 and Leo (well anyone other than Carlo) I dont know if im the only one that didnt buy the r80 always being out of shape thing. If Kaka goes r80 should ge tthe start and seedorf please someone make a bid for the guy.
Carlo pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeee take Seedorf.
if kaka "wants" to leave neither u nor i nor anyone should shed a tear, instead all the best for him.bur if he doesnt want to leave but instead sold by our managment i will be the first to cry and get angry as well.
R80 was not and is not a good deal for us,believe me one day u will remenber me saying that we dont really need him in our squad,he can give u a 99 or 100% perfection in 3 or 4 games out of 10,but the rest are full of wasted chances, hes not the R10 he use to be in Barca, trust me,i liked him alot as i was a big fan but i know how it works with players like him,hes great but not great enough to replace Kaka, nor will any1 not even C7,
uve got messi this year no1 and a couple of years ahead its still messi along with kaka,it just depends on the shape of the team kaka will play with.
if he goes to spain he will find more space to play in and show his skills but he will face barca who will kick his teams behind.
i hope its not kakas will to leave ac milan, hope he stays coz its his home.but if he wants to leave than thank u for the memories.
p.s seedor was a gr8 player for us .no need to talk about him in a bad way,if hes not in shape then we should ask for him sit aside till he gets back in shape, and if were in debts or in need of money then we might suggest to sell him.
but we shouldnt speak about our players that took us to finals of the CL 3 teams in past 7 years in bad way.we owe them alot of appreciation.

After the two clubs agreed a fee of €65 million, conflict has now arisen between Real Madrid and Kaka's representatives, who are making astronomical demands.
According to British paper The Mirror, Kaka's agent and father, Bosco Leite, is supposedly asking for a personal commission of €11.5 million, a sum that Real Madrid president Florentino Perez thinks is much too high.
Leite is also demanding a signing-on-fee of an additional €11.5 million, plus a transfer and €1.5 million for Kaka's younger brother Digao. This would make Real Madrid pay a total €89.5 million, a sum that would break the bank as the highest transfer in history.
Real Madrid have been taken aback after receiving these outrageous demands, and are unlikely to accede to the terms of the deal. Should this be the case, then Kaka will remain at Milan, having already declared earlier this week that he wants to stay put at his current club.
Kaka is in Brazil with the national team preparing for a World Cup Qualifier against Uruguay, and has not been given permission to leave the country to sign any deals.
He has also refused to make any comments about his situation, but the Spanish press are adamant that Kaka indeed wants Madrid, declaring to his friends, "Everything is almost done. I know that I will be going to Madrid. I am very happy."
The final decision concerning Kaka's future is expected to be revealed on Monday.
LOL Goal.com is running out of things to write.

I got it Seedorf guy. Seedorf=Robert Horry..(nba)
Both have titles to show for their work but if you see them play they usually make 1 or 2 great plays for the whole game. BUT those plays usually are the ones that decide the game.
I dont mind if Seedorf stays as long as he doesnt get automatic starts each game. Ive noticed though he is a baby when he gets taken out or not started. He doesnt seem profesional to me @ Milan (maybe comfortable after all these years here) C7 same at ManU, if i was Sir Alex i'd be sit the fuvk down im the coach you dumb ass.
Rant over.
So, Silvio's words regarding the Kaka media circus have finally hit the English press. This version of the Correa dello sport article from Sky Sports:
Milan set for Kaka talks
Berlusconi plans last-ditch attempt to keep Brazil star
Last updated: 6th June 2009
AC Milan owner Silvio Berlusconi has scheduled talks with Kaka where he will make a last-ditch attempt to ensure the Brazilian remains at the San Siro.
The playmaker appears close to a world-record move to Real Madrid and the deal could be confirmed on Monday, while Chelsea are thought to be monitoring the situation.
But Berlusconi has yet to give up hope that he will be able to convince Kaka, who was the subject of a failed bid from Manchester City in the winter, to stay in Italy.
"(Milan general manager Adriano) Galliani and I arranged to meet last Sunday," he told Milan Channel.
Freedom
"I asked to meet Kaka, but he had left for Brazil and so I agreed with Galliani to have a long telephone conversation with Kaka this Sunday night or Monday.
"If he presents us with a similar situation to that of Andriy Shevchenko, we will behave in the same way, giving the player and his family the freedom to make the choices they believe are the best."
Berlusconi has rubbished suggestions that he is forcing Kaka out of the club, despite rumours that the 27-year-old is happy.
Reports have implied that the Brazil international was upset by the manner in which Milan were prepared to sell to City at the start of 2009 before cancelling the deal.
Beg
"I've begged him to stay at Milan," he added. "I did it several months ago and Kaka, despite the fact that there was a stratospheric offer of €105million (£92m), stayed.
"Now certain clubs again made persistent enquiries, Chelsea and Madrid who will bring, they tell me, a different economic deal for the player."
Berlusconi insists the money Milan receive for Kaka - expected to be around €65m (£57m) - will be put back into the team.
He said: "If Kaka should leave to go play in another squad, I will invest what Milan receive from the sale to reinforce Milan and create a very competitive squad."
So, Kaka says on Monday that "for the last time" he's not going to leave Milan, that he will definitely remain a Milan player and that he hopes to be left alone about it. On Friday, Silvio claims that he has begged Kaka to stay and that the decision is completely up to the player. How is this even remotely possible? Somebody is lying through their teeth! :musk:
Somebody is lying through their teeth! :musk:
No doubt about it, from the media all the way to the player. Yes even the player, I have no doubt, otherwise the Berlusconi-aided circus would have nowhere to go and ended for the last time when he waved the Milan shirt from the window.

Everybody is lying through their teeth! :d33:
Kaka looks ever more likely to move to Real Madrid and has called a press conference for Monday in Brazil where he is expected to confirm the world-record transfer.
This seems unusal for a player to call his own press conference to confirm he has signed for another club. Surely the new club call the press conference to present the player. Unless he is calling the press conference to reiterate that he is staying with us. :gonova:
I still live in hope.

If money is such a huge factor in Kaka's sale-to-be, then why didn't Milan accept Man City's offer?
Kaka didn't want to go to Man City, which is understandable, but now he seems willing to capitulate to the club's desire to dump him in Madrid? Smells fishy to me.

Thank God its finally done. I was sick of this back and forth sht. GL Kaka you are a great player, i still think you picked the wrong team but im not you. LOL
Anyways when you miss Milan you are welcome to come back.
R80 i still beliebve in you brother, i still like our team we do need to add some defenders and i dont want $$$$ strikers. young and good will do fine. Pato will be a beast with R80. Now im just hoping for a good signing period to start.
I think Silvio is an ******* but still as a business man i think he will do something (signing) to keep us happy...
Forza Milan....
From a purely business side he should have taken the money from Man City, don't over rate his business acumen.

its now official
MILANO - Dalla prossima stagione Kakà giocherà nel Real Madrid. L’A.C. L’A.C. Milan, interpretando i voti dei dirigenti, dei giocatori e dei sostenitori rossoneri, formula a lui i più cordiali ed affettuosi auguri per il proseguimento della sua carriera sportiva.
I am soo disappointed :angf::confused:

Terrible day, Kaka is gone.. and not only that, but gone for Real Madrid... it has to be some "inside story" we don't know (maybe some other business venture between Berlu and Perez) 'cause it is not normal not accepting the Manchester City offer (i dont buy the "Kaka said no to the money").... Milan wanted to sell Kaka to Real Madrid.. end of story...
Anyway... Kaka thanks for everything... Good luck from now on...
The king (Kaka) is dead... all hail the king (Ronaldinho) :v408::v408::v408::v408::v408:

Even as an Inter fan, hurts to see a player like Kaka leaving the league and the country.
Hope Milan spends the money wisely: 1 good defender, 1 good mifdielder and 1 striker like adebayor or dzeko, perfect to play along with Pato. I don't believe in ronaldinho, he can't be starter, too many injuries and inconsistent.

I said it last week. When ESPN Brasilor Globo TV are saying something about Brazilian players, you need to believe.
As I said in Leonardo case, Jornal Nacional from Globo Television gave the breaking news weeks ago. They are not AS or Marca, and one more time they prove to be right...
I always support our managment despite pointing their flaws...But, to be out of the Champions League really hurt the Club finances, and it is all our managment fault. Some years ago Carlo goes public and ask for Ribery, Alex and Etoo...but received Senderos, Ronaldinho, Cardaccio, Grimmi :rollani:
Sad days...now I can´t help but to think in the near future Pato will be the next...we just need one more year of bad decisions and the same financial problems excuses will pop...
Look, I know we need money, but it was spending on Ronaldinhos, Senderos, Cardaccios type of players that hurt us...I still remeber they saying that Kaladze was a great defender(and good people here agree) and that we didn´t needed a new defender:rolleyes::irritate:
Can´t believe tht I would saw this day...Milan, a seller club...
Adios Ricky. All the best.
After Kaka reiterates again and again he wants to stay? This never happened since I became a Milanista for almost 20 years. Now I need a break.
This is so sad, from a pure fan's affection, it feels like selling your daughter to be prostitute. I could care less about Milan's financial condition, none of the money falls into my pocket, and I could care less about who are the share holders, Italian, Arabic, whoever. Maybe the local would think this important.
You, my fellows, are supporting this team for various reasons. Thank you for the great time we had together, all the best.
Kaka's interview with AS.
What do you say to the Milan fans after your signing with Real Madrid?
I have much to be thankful for to Milan for all these years I have played there. I could project myself at an international level and I achieved many triumphs with the rossonero shirt. From here I want to send my deepest thanks to the Milan organization. I have been very happy there and I never would have accepted another offer that wasn't this one. Only Real Madrid, with the consent of Milan, has made this signing possible.
Then why are you leaving the Milan organization?
The whole world knows about the financial crisis that is devastating us and Milan is passing through a bad period. Many businesses are passing through bad periods and Milan is one of them. The best way to help them was to accept this offer from Madrid.
What can you say about your new team, Real Madrid?
They are one of the best teams that there is in the world and they are building a solid project that will allow me to play with the best players of the planet. That was one of the reasons that I opted for this great club. In addition, they are creating a team to once again be champions in Spain and Europe. Real Madrid is a new motivation for me. I want to achieve new triumphs and win many titles with the white shirt.
What do you know about Real Madrid from your Brazilian compatriots?
All of them have said good things about Madrid and have advised me to sign for them. But I knew enough about the team, because they have exceptional players like Raúl and Casillas. David Beckham also advised me to sign for Florentino. (what a c*nt if true (not part of the article))
What made you sign for Madrid now and not during previous occasions?
Now it is a different situation. It is certain that I had to opportunities to sign in previous seasons, but Ancelotti, my coach at Milan, bet on me and on my game. To come to Madrid now is a gratifying experience.
What opinion do you have on Florentino Perez, your new President?
He has the idea to make an interesting sporting project and he is trying to buy other great world class players. I believe that he will be able to make a very offensive squad and for this I opted for this club.
Are you going to compete with Messi to be the best player in the world?
Messi has played very well this season and deserves the prize of the best player in the world because he has won three very important titles with Barcelona. He was an important figure in his team. In any case I hope the Barcelona hegemony ends and that Real Madrid wins new titles.
What do you hope for Milan after your departure?
They will surely have choices to win the league with Leonardo, who is a great coach. I am sure that great players will arrive and I am sure that they will continue going forward without me.
Will Pato be your replacement
I hope so. He has shown himself to be a great player. He only lacks a few years to mature to reach the top. He is a fantastic player.
Do you arrive to Madrid to finish your career here, like Zidane did earlier?
I have signed a long contract, for six years. I hope to make history in Madrid and to win many titles. This is my intention.
What number will you wear? Have you decided? It is rumored that you will wear the 5 of Zidane...
I am thankful that I have been offered the number 5, but Zidane is Zidane. He is a player with an acclaimed history with Madrid and with the French national team and I have much respect for him. I don't know what number I'll wear, I still haven't decided.
You maintained a position of absolute silence and said that you were happy in Milan. What do you owe this to?
Because my idea was not to leave Milan, but economic circumstances made it like this. What is certain is that it was an offer that couldn't be refused.

Btw, after see Kaka talking today for a ESPN Brazil, it was clear that if he accepted M.City offer, Berluscone would have selled him.
He said in all words that he tell the club that want to stay, but that if the club need to sell him(financial problems) he only accepted a big club(with tradition), like Real Madrid...
He also said that the deal was finished some weeks ago. So, all the talk of Berlusconi the last week in pappers was pure BS...
Then why are you leaving the Milan organization?
The whole world knows about the financial crisis that is devastating us and Milan is passing through a bad period. Many businesses are passing through bad periods and Milan is one of them. The best way to help them was to accept this offer from Madrid.

Look, Ancelotti and some folks knew Ancelotti was going to go out by the end of the season; I won't be surprised that it's EXACTLY THE TIME when Milan played against Juve and started to collapse.
It's also not surprising that Kaka` has accepted the offer, ALMOST at the same time when co knew that Ancelotti is going to be out.
Kaka` did this completely for his image, for he said NOTHING about leaving Milan during the last few games.
"My heart is only with Milan"... "I always want to stay" ... "I hope to make history in Madrid and to win many titles"
You are right.
It's completely a way to protect his pristine image.
In fact, he was such a coward that he wouldn't say it when he was in Milan. For fear of Milan fan's chanting again, or for fear of getting trashed by the ultras? (oh wait, ultras love traitors).
I'm not saying that it's wrong to abandon the ship when the ship is sinking.
But I doubt if he is THAT dedicated to Milan.
Hey, after all, money matters.
open your eyes, accept that not all the players are as loyal as they are.
Berlu wants the money, Real wants the player, Kaka` wants the money and leaves the club. Off you go.
Carlo wanted to stay, but he wouldn't play R80. Off he went.
On one hand, you have Galliani saying that 'milan didn't do well because of injury', on the other hand you have the president blaming the coach for not being able to defend a lead.
For F*** sake (and pardon for my language), it's you guys who bought Sheva taken a non-EU spot so that Thiago won't be able to play; it's you guys who didn't buy a world class DC and instead brought on R80 who clearly wasn't any close to Kaka`.
All said, whose fault? The management has to take the blame, but Kaka` could have chosen to stay.
I suspect Ancelotti's leaving has something to do with it (but not that Ancelotti facilitates the move; it's just that his leaving also had an impact on players' morales).
But the Milan management claims that 'it's for change for the better'.
Change my a$$$.

If someone still defends our Management, he/she is retarded. Nobody can defend this. Moreover, its as Berlusconi is even treating us of fools by saying that Ronaldinho will be our saviour and he shall guide us to glory.
Please.

I am not going take sides here. But one thing I am sure is that Milan is the biggest loser in history of football with this deal.
All I know is that it took 5 yrs for Barcelona to start winning again after the sale of their and most probably the best player in the world at that time to RM, thats Figo btw. While they actually bought Dinho, Eto, while Xavi, Inesta, Pugol maturing.
Juve might have dominated Series A after the sale of Zidane but the closest they could get in the CL is being in the final, while RM won it right away.

finally they sold the beautiful player & wonderful human being. I sensing this moment since R80 was came in, I'm a Milan fan living 4000 miles away from Milan, even sensing that, i still feel really sad. people may agree or disagree, but they don't deserve to calling themselves big Club. big club doesn't sell best player and believe me they will sell pato in 2,3 years time. Look at Real or barca, they called it rightly big club, because won't sell player's in their prime. Milan not only hurt themselves but Serie A as whole, because it degraded the League.
Serie A need foreign owner's, just like EPL, where foreigner's billionaires transformed the League into no 1 league in Europe. A billionaires who wanna love the sport not their bank account like beru do...........

I totally agree. In some of milan forums people started abusing Kaka for what he has done. Kaka might have made a sensible move keeping in mind his career. The management has not made any particular actions in the past few years to show that it is striving for success again. This was bound to disappoint the best player. Remember those times when Kaka was one of the few players to come in the media and discuss the weaknesses of Milan team? If the management failed to please us, how can we expect the best player to be pleased? Of course, I understand that Kaka is not as loyal to Milan as Totti is to Roma and Maldini to us. But again, how often do you see any player born in another continent as loyal?
I'd rather choose to be grateful to Kaka for those spectacles and wish him success in future.
Real is not a good choice for Kaka...There are stars, not players. Kaka will be just like Beckham :yuck:
very sad.

Heh, this isn't the end of the world. In the long run, this might even be a good thing for Milan. Remember that Kaka hasn't been exceptional for us since 2007, and this team badly needs a revolution. Berlusconi has said that the money from the sale will be spent on new players, as he wants to create a team that can win the title next season, and we're already close to signing Dzeko.
When Sheva left I was hurting, but this... nah, I think it's alright. If Kaka had left us two seasons ago I'd be furious, but £60M for a player who's not performing consistently anymore is a great deal.
Let's not forget that this is MILAN. We're starting a new era now, with a new coach and a new captain. With the right investments on the market this summer (and I don't think Berlu and Galliani would dare otherwise), we'll have a great team next season. Something that probably wouldn't be the case without this sale, as we wouldn't be able to afford it.
As I said before, I'd rather win the title without Kaka than come third with him in the team. Forza Milan! :)

Milan was a team that never sell its top star to finance its spending.
Milan was also a team who used to break the transfer fee records in getting top players.
Milan was a team that wins all the time.
Milan was a team who owners care about the team and the players.
Milan was a team where only top players can be a part of.
Milan is a team who sell its top stars to make profit.
Milan is a team who will be on the receiving end of transfer fee records.
Milan is a team who will always fight for the last CL spot in the league.
MIlan is a team where the owners just don't care.
Milan is a team where only over the hill players can be part of.

From a purely business side he should have taken the money from Man City, don't over rate his business acumen.
I think as Brasileiro pointed out, he was probably ready to cash in and it was Kaka who stopped the move.
of course this isn't the end for us. But I believe it will take a few seasons to build a competitive team especially with a rookie manager.
What has pi$$we me off is that we sold him to madrid. These scum have pursued kaka relentlessly through the media with their false stories for 2 years now and it amounts to nothing more than bullying and in the end they won. On principle I would have sold him to Chelsea.
I have never known a situation like this in my 21 years as a milanista Sheva left but because he wanted to
Keep the faith.

from my side it was clear in time when Anceloti left!!
The only way to sell Kaka, was to release Anceloti first!
that's it!!

Actually there can't be any doubt that Berlusconi loves football than all the foreign owners in England do. And that's imo the problem with selling the club to some magnate like the Liverpool's Americans or Man City's sheikhs - do they even care or know about the game or the club? Milan shouldn't be reduced to just business. Although I guess that's what's happening now, anyway...sad days :sigh:

agree with that. Quite frankly I would rejected Real Madrid for a lower offer from else where. I wish they'd get their fingers burnt for being so arrogant and thoughtless.
I'm gutted because he didn't even do a sheva, with sheva I could turn my back and say "well sod him." but kaka is blameless here, he wasn't pushed out the door but it was made obvious when it came to £50m and him, it was the £50m that was preferred. We'll not find another player like him, mark my words. Now we have prima donna ex-stars to fill his shoes like ronaldinho.
in fact, if we were so bloody cash strapped then why were we making unnecessary purchases like ronaldinho?!?!?! No one wanted him at the club, and we didn't need him.
Only leonardo can save us now. If he's a man with a vision and ideal of how to play beautiful football can we hopefully put some of this money to good use (I doubt all will be re-invested, maybe 20-30m max) build a team up, move forward. If he's just a puppet, then it's bad times ahead. Expect us to be Henry's next port of call, when he's 32-33 and similar transfers.

How can Leo build his 80s style Brazil team of Milan without Kaka?
Disappointing. By the club and by Kaka himself. The last player I hoped would show the football world that when you say you want to stay at a club, he would really mean it. Now it's all gone. No hope of loyality from players left.
I hope he performs like Sheva did when he left us, I wish him no greatness (no harm either).
As for this story about selling because of financial situation, I don't buy it at all. It would be more financially smart to get rid of 3-4 other players than this. And i'm sure we'll still buy 2-3 players and have a normal mercato in that way.
The supporters have been given a cover-up story yet again, so who knows what's really happend here.
How can Leo build his 80s style Brazil team of Milan without Kaka?
Especially when Kaka is regarded as the new Socrates :(
Kaka was a shadow of a player since 07.
Tbh I dont blame Silvio/Galliani one bit - i'd splash the cash on an even bigger Villa somewhere in the naples. :tongue1:
...sorry to digress..but some City people posting on the redandblack...really what do they want..?
Most seem to insist Kaka was ready to join City, irrespective of what Milan or Kaka say..
I remember the words of one agent based in london, whose partner in Brazil is a lawyer who represents Kaka.
According to this lawyer, City were never even close to signing him. Basically there were a few unsavory characters on the City side that Kaka would not go near. And Kaka, if he were to be forced out, needed to go to a club with CL promises.
So these City know-it-all folks don't sound they know the whole truth, but their wording come with such a conviction they will end up rewriting the histry.
There are always two or three sides to a story, and this is certainly not the time to force feed the one sided story into the throats of already battered and bruised Milan fans. Unless that is what they want to do.
So many lies.........I don´t know if this is just another one..
Kaka said that he saw no more future in Milan. Leonardo will give Ronaldhino more playtime and Kaka´s still wants to win titles.
Beckham adviced him to go to Real Madrid.
Otherwise he would never had left Milan ! ?

Personally I'm not that pissed with the news. Just abit cuz we sold him for 56mil when we could've gotten him for 107 that city bid? I mean we could've at least held out for a bit more. Maybe start a bidding war between chelski and RM? I mean isn't Galliani the master of the markert? Looks like we got played this time.
Anyways Kaka said he would stay if Milan asked him, and Berlu said he begged Kaka to stay, so obviously someone is lying. True it would've been a fairytale to see him stay with us and become captain like the dream golden boy we all envisioned him to be. But the world is getting crazier each day. You can't blame him, he's already won everything he could with Milan, and we must thank him for that. If I was him frankly, I would be excited by the prospect of going to spain and challenging Messi's barca directly.
Anyway I hope the play will be centered around Dinho with Kaka gone. Somehow those two never had the time to find the understanding of each other. Was one of the reasons Ancelotti went, which I felt was quite valid. Dinho did so well in the early phases of the season. Even when he came off the bench towards the end he showed spraks of brilliance. How dya bench someone like that? And who took his place....Beckham.
P.S. Berlu said something about petrol money going into football. What I don't understand is (if someone can explain to me), why berlu nvr had the financial capability to compete with these people, or at least sustain the club to fend off attacks like this. I mean he was once one of the richest men in Europe. Is it because of his involvement in politics, or the nature of his telecoms businesss, or something else???

How a club with 3 CL finals, 1 semi and 1 quarter in the recent years cannot make money is beyond me, that sort of exposure and the style of football we tried to play attracts fans who put money into the club. If they cannot make money off the back of that then there is something seriously wrong in the way we market ourselves in comparison to Real, Man Utd etc.
Our wages at the club are known to be astronomical but nothing was done to cut them down, if anything they willingly handed out increased contract and tie players down who did not deserve it.
Kaka's Stay Comments Were Lies, Milan Are In Decline - Zvonimir Boban
The Milan great has cast derision on the Kaka sale, blaming the player and club for starting a time bomb that will lead to the club's downfall...

Former Milan midfielder Zvonimir Boban has hit out at Kaka's Real Madrid transfer, stating that the player's claims of wanting to stay at the Italian club were false.
The Brazilian joined Los Merengues in the early hours of Tuesday morning in a mega six-year deal. According to La Gazzetta Dello Sport, Kaka revealed he would have liked to have remained at the Rossoneri, claiming the economic factors pushed and pulled him to Spain.
However, Boban is not impressed. The former player believes Kaka would have stayed if he really wanted to.
"I am disappointed with the fact that Kaka spoke about an eternal love and then in the end it was all false because he wanted to go," Boban roared to Sky Sport Italia. “Milan wanted to sell. That's the reality and people must not hide from it.
"That's the truth. Kaka saying that he wanted to stay on is just false. He is not false, but his comments were.
"I do not like the whole affair as it shows that Milan are in decline.
"Milan just allowed themselves to be robbed by selling prestigious players, something which has never happened [previously] under [owner Silvio] Berlusconi.
"Milan have never sold such great players and I am disappointed. I am sorry for all this and it's a shame that money makes players leave, but there have been players who have stayed on. However, Kaka was free to make his own choice."
There was talk in the past that Kaka had claimed he wanted to stay on at Milan for the rest of his career, even talking of his desire to captain the club after rejecting Manchester City in January. However, Boban laughed off these suggestions.
"I don't even want to believe that, maybe Kaka felt weak at the time he said that," added Boban.
"There were tears and protests from the fans and it seemed like [turning Manchester City down] was a definitive yes to Milan, but obviously it wasn't. Those players who want to stay on at Milan do, and the club never allows a player who wants to stay to leave, especially players like Kaka."
Milan's task now is to find a replacement for the Brazilian ace, though many reports have claimed Ronaldinho will be the one to take Kaka's place in the side.

From my understanding a transfer happens thus:
team a makes an offer
team b refuses, negotiates, or accepts
once a fee has been settled on the player discusses contract terms.
So if any of us were football players and the club accepted an offer for you it would tell you that they were willing to let you leave.
Boban is correct to an extent that this type of thing has never happened under silvio, maybe he needs to go anyway. But to say Kaka could've stayed if he really wanted to is unfair. If the club are prepared to accept firstly an offer from man city and then madrid within a space of a few months would you want to stay?
The truth is that Kaka always said he would stay as long as the club wanted him. And the fact is that the club no longer wanted him.

I think it's quite fair. He could have just said no. He did it with Man City. Why wouldn't I want to stay if I only want to play with Milan?
He always said that because he could see this coming one day potentially.
As I said in another post, he didn't even have the gut to come out and say he is leaving at San Siro. At least Sheva did it before he left (sitting with the ultra?), and he? scored a couple of penalties and call it a day at Florence.
Flew to Brazil, even got a medical there, and off he went.
Forget about how 'pure' he is. He just showed the rest of the world that football at the end of the day is business.
And I think it's fine for him to go; in fact, this shows you that not one player is greater than the team.
If a player wants to move on, go. What's worse having players on the pitch who already isn't even thinking about their clubs.
J
ok, let´s see.
Berlusconi wants Ronaldinho to have more playtime
Ancelotti refuses.
Ancelotti is leaving
Berlusconi critized him for never listening.
Leonardo comes.and Berlusconi praises him for good understanding.
Berlusconi said, if Kaka is leaving, we won´t buy another striker.
Kaka has left......
Harmony seems far away in Milan theese days, I wouldn´t stay neither.
And again I ask myself if players ask themselves how to trust on a club that let his captain down like this ?
Forget about how 'pure' he is. He just showed the rest of the world that football at the end of the day is business.
...and he appears to be emphasising that point to the elated RM fans. He already is openly fudging about his future when asked whether he would retire at RM or not..
one of the best and honest posts I encountered on this topic. thanks.
Believe me, it takes 2 to tango, if Kaka really wanted to stay, he would still be here. This only means that he did not mind leaving Milan, but only for another club that he felt was of a similar level, hence he accepted Madrid, but rejected Man City. If Kaka refused to discuss terms with Madrid, this whole matter would end and he would remain, but if you recall, every summer his father sits with the Madrid directors and enterains offers and then comes back to us to match it. I have not seen this of any other Milan player. Even Sheva seemed content, until his wife showed him who was boss.
This will prove to be a good move for our club, believe me. And if someone can be Real Madrid president simply because they bring in big names, than so be it, it shows how superficial their mentality is. Now, if Galliani does and promised and brings in a powerful striker, a defender and a strong midfielder, we can win titles again next year and we will see what Madrid do with Kaka, VDV, Sneijder, RObben, HIguain, Raul, RvN---which looks to me like a squad constructed by an idiot, rather than a "football" person.
Harmony seems far away in Milan theese days, I wouldn´t stay neither.
And again I ask myself if players ask themselves how to trust on a club that let his captain down like this ?
No one is saying that the management is not responsible, but let's think about the other side:
Kaka` has demanded wage increase over the years, Milan conceded to a point almost breaking the record. Is that what we want Milan to show other players?
He repeatedly expressed his desire that he could be the captain, when he/we all knew so many players were in line before him. Is team's policy less important than his single "demand"?
Despite the fact that Milan struggled without him in the league, have we NOT struggled WITH him? He has been, honestly, not at his best for the past two seasons, let alone the injury and stuff. He had never been any more electric; he lost the passion at Milan, just like R80 has lost passion at Barcelona.
He sees no future in Milan, he thinks that Ancelotti builds the system around him and so he is good, and then once Ancelotti leaves he never knows whether he'll be the star again. At least Real is ready to offer him something.
And you know what: he must be sick of the cagey defense in Italy. After all, he is a Brazilian; no wonder Brazilians want to go to Spain; they'll have an easier time scoring.
Financial crisis? if he is so darn sacrificing for Milan citing the financial crisis, just go to Man City.
Same bull that Sheva gave about family learning English.
Like I said, if the players want to go, GO.
It's better playing a slow Seedorf who is still willing to fight for the Milan jersey than someone who is claiming to be a wonderful man on the one hand and decide to jump ship on the other.
It's almost ironic that it's better to stay like a bad a$$ all the time like Materazzi. At least we all know he is a bad guy and he is not hiding it.

The tifosi over in Milan knew for years that it was Kaka's dream to ultimately play for Madrid, and he'd made no bones about it. Now that he's finally been shipped over there following two disappointing seasons, everyone's up in arms about it. Jesus, they really need a reality check.
Now the mood today is Let's Take Our Anger Out on Guys Like Seedorf and Dida Because They and Their Contracts Aren't Going Anywhere™. Never mind that they signed their extensions back when Kaka was getting a pay raise from Berlu every other week.
I'm exhausted. I think I need a break.
Nice post Jeff. Most of the blame might, just might, rest on the other side but you are right.

Ironically, look who's on the cover of the official Milan magazine this month.
Well, they do close print issues about two weeks before publication, but it may be wiser to just put a Milan crest on the cover of the June issue every year. It's safer any way. ;) Could there be a Forza Milan cover jinx? :D
GUYS GUYS GUYS,
PLS READ CAREFULLY AND SHARE WITH ME YOUR FEEDBACK.
KAKA WAS VERY HAPPY WITH MILAN AND MILANO,SPECIALLY DURING HIS FIRST 4 YEARS,WORKING WITH A GREAT MANAGEMENT AT THAT TIME,WILLING TO WIN TITLES ,HE HAS BECOME A WORLDWIDE SUPERSTAR AND A CHAMPION WHILST HES WITH MILAN,HE LOVED THE CITY,THE PEOPLE AND THE GREAT PLAYERS HE HAS BEEN WORKING WITH.PLUS THE PERFECT PERSONALITY OF A COACH."CARLO WAS AN OLDER BROTHER AND FATHER TO THE SQUAD". IN OTHER WORDS HE HAD THE BEST ATMOSPHERE ANY PERSON OR PLAYER CAN EVER GET.
HE LOVED THE SYSTEM AC MILAN WAS WORKING WITH,"AND THAT SYSTEM IS THE SYSTEM THAT MADE ME "jornazi"LOVE AC MILAN AS WELL"
LETS NOT FORGET THAT KAKAS FATHER IS HIS BUISNESS MANAGER,AND AS ANY FATHER HE WOULD WANT THE BEST FOR HIS KID,AND SOME FATHERS DO IT IN A VERY INTELEGENT WAY AND SOME FATHERS DO IT IN A NORMAL WAY AND SOME FATHERS DO IT IN A STUPID WAY.
KAKAS FATHER KNEW THAT HIS SON WAS TALENTED AND KNEW THAT HIS SON WAS WANTED FROM DIFFERENT CLUBS AND THAT THEY WERE WILLING TO PAY A LOT IF HE WOULD BE SOLD,ESPECIALY DURING HIS FIRST SUCCESSFUL YEARS WITH AC MILAN.
IF A FATHER SEES HIS SON DOING GOOD HE WOULD ASLO LIKE HIM TO GET PAID BETTER,AND SINCE HE IS THE BUISNES MANAGER OF HIS SON HE WOULD BE THE PERSON ASKING THE CLUB TO RAISE HIS SONS SALARY.
ANDS THAT’S WHAT THE CLUB DID BECOZ THE CLUB WAS WINNING ALOT AND EARNING A LOT,AND BENEFITING FROM KAKAS ADVERTISING CONTRACTS AT THAT TIME.
AFTER AC MILAN WON THE CHAMPIONS LEAUGE THEY DIDN’T HAVE ANY KNEW SIGNINGS,THEY DIDN’T WANT TO SPEND,THEY TOOK A REST FROM THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE AND HAD A VERY BAD NEXT SEASON AND WE ALL HATED THAT THEY DIDN’T BRING KNEW PLAYERS INCLUDING THE PLAYERS THEMSELVES.
THE CLUB HAS BOUGHT R80 TO FILL THE PLACE OF WHO??
IF YOU WERE KAKA WHAT WOULD YOU THINK?
OK LETS GET BACK TO MONEY AND LOYALTY.
MANCHESTER CITY HAS COME UP WITH A RECORD BREAKING OFFER TO GALIANI AND KAKAS DAD,GALIANI GAVE THE OFFER TO KAKA AND TOLD HIM THIS IS WHAT WE RECEIVED AND WE THOUGHT WE SHOULD LET U KNOW.
ANY HUMAN BEING WOULD FEEL THAT IT’S A SIGN THAT THE CLUB ARE NOT REJECTING OFFERS AND MIGHT HAVE THE WILL TO SELL.
HE TOOK THE OFFER AND STUDIED IT AND ASKED CARLO ABOUT IT AND CARLO MADE HIM FEEL THAT ITS BETTER RO STAY,CARLO REMOVED THE FEAR THAT KAKA HAD THINKING THAT THE CLUB WANTED TO SELL HIM,HE MADE KAKA FEEL THE CLUB HAS A FUTURE AND THEY STILL WANT U AND THE ATMOSHPERE IS GOOD.
KAKA PLAYED AGAINST FIRONTINA,THE MATCH THAT MADE KAKA UNDERSTAND WHAT THE MILAN FANS TRULY FEEL TOWARDS HIM AND WAS HAPPY HE TOOK THAT DECISION.
KAKA DIDNT TRUST THE MANAGMENT SO MUCH AND TOLD THEM """IF""""" U WANT TO SELL ME SELL ME TO A BIG CLUB BUT I WANT TO STAY.
BERLISCONI CAME OUT AND PRETENDED TO BE THE CHAMPION WHO MADE KAKA STAY AND ANNOUCED IT PUBLICLY.
AFTER THAT KAKA WAS CONFIDENT ENOUGH TO START EXPRESSING HIS LOVE TOWARDS MILAN AND THAT HE WANTED TO GROW OLDER AND WIN MORE WITH THE AC MILAN SHIRT.HE NEVER DEMANDED TO BE CAPTAIN BUT WISHED HE COULD.
KAKA HAS SHOWN THE CLUB AND SENT THE RIGHT SIGNALS THAT HE WANTS TO STAY.
BUT JUST AFTER A FEW MONTHS!!!! GALIANI COMES AGAIN TO KAKA TELLING HIM THAT WE HAVE ANOTHER OFFER FROM MADRID ,HIS BUDDY AND BUISNESS FRIEND PEREZ OFCOURSE!!!!
"KAKA ,WE HAVE AN OFFER FROM MADRID,WERE FINANCIALY DOWN,THEY MAKE BETTER MONEY THAN US,FINANCIAL CRISIS AND SO ON…ITS UP TO U IF U WANT TO STAY!..........OH COME ON GALIANI WHO R U FOOLING.
IF U WANT THE BOY UD SAY HEY KAKA,WE GOT A BIG OFFER HERE,WE CANT COMPETE BUT WE'D LOVE U TO STAY,UVE DONE A LOT WITH US AS A PLAYER AND WE LOVE U AS A PERSON AS WELL AND THEN ITS UP TO U BUT WED LOVE U TO STAY.
NOW THAT WOULD ENCOURAGE LOYALTY BECOZ IT REVEALS YR TRUE INTENSIONS THAT U WANT ME.
IF U WANT ME U WOULDN’T BRING ME ANOTHER OFFER AFTER I HAVE JUST REJECTED ONE-
AND THAT’S WHY KAKA SAID BEFORE IF U WANT TO SELL ME SELL ME TO A BIG CLUB,AS HE WANTS A GOOD CAREER.
HE NEEDS TO MOVE ON TO A GOOD PLACE,HES NOT AN ITALIAN TOTTI TO ROMA OR MALDINI TO MILAN OR AN ITALIAN DEL PIERO TO JUVE.BUT HE COULVE BEEN A BRAZILIAN KAKA TO AC MILAN JUST LIKE AN ARGENTINIAN ZANETTI TO INTER,BUT KAKA DIDN’T FEEL THAT THE MANAGEMENT WAS REALY HOLDING ON TO HIM.SO HE DECIDED TO MOVE ON IN A SMOOTH WAY WHILE THERE WAS STILL TIME TO DO IT.
HE SAID IT BEFORE HE LEFT TO BRAZIL AT THE AIRPORT"I WANT TO STAY AT MILAN BUT I DON’T WANT TO SAY MORE SO NOONE WOULD UNDERSTAND ANYTHING OR ANYONE WRONG,PLEASE LEAVE ME IN PEACE"
I WANT TO STAY MEANS I WOULD LOVE TO STAY,I LOVE AC MILAN AND THE ENVIORMENT THEY HAVE BUT IF THE MANAGEMENT HELD TIGHT AND MADE ME FEEL THAT I WAS REALY WANTED,BUT HE COULDN’T SAY THAT AS IT WOULD DISAPOINT REAL MADRID FANS.
AT THE END OF THE DAY HES A PROFESIANL WHO GETS PAID TO ACHIEVE AND MAKE PEOPLE HAPPY.
IF HE SPEAKS HIS HEART OUT REAL MADRID FANS WOULD GET UPSET.
AND WE WOULD GET UPSET FROM OUR MANAGEMENT THAT MADE HIM FEEL THAT THEY WANTED THE MONEY A LOT.YES THEY WANTED TO KEEP KAKA,BUT THEY WANTED TO KEEP THE MONEY MORE AND THEY THINK KAKA WANTED TO LEAVE.
IT’S A LACK OF TRUST BETWEEN BOTH.AND IT’S THE RESONSABILTY OF THE CLUB TO HAVE THE COURAGE TO SHOW KAKA THAT THEY REALY WANTED HIM.
AND WHY WOULD KAKA THINK THAT THEY WOULD HAVE THE COURAGE TO REFUSE OFFERS AND TELL HIM WE WOULD LOVE U TO STAY,THEY DIDN’T EVEN HAVE THE COURAGE TO RESPOND TO THE ULTRAS THAT BOOED THE LIVING AC MILAN LEGAND WHO WAS PLAYING EVEN BEFORE MOST OF THE ULTRAS WERE EVEN OLD ENOUGH TO WATCH FOOTBALL!
AFTER ALL OF THIS WHY WOULD KAKA WANT TO STAY?
UNFORUNALY MY POINT OF VIEW IS THAT ACMILAN 2007 TO 2009 HAD THE WORST MANAGEMENT DECISIONS AND BEHAVOUR A CLUB COULD EVER HAVE.
P.S
SHEVA LOVED MILAN AND WANTED TO STAY BUT HIS WIFE WAS IN CONTROL AND DEMANDED THE LEAVE TO LONDON AS SHE WANTED HER KIDS TO LEARN ENGLISH WELL ANG GET RAISED IN LONDON FOR A WHILE JUST LIKE SHE DID.BELIEVE ME THIS IS THE TRUTH ABOUT SHEVA IS THAT HE WANTED TO STAY WUTH MILAN BUT WAS FORCED TO LEAVE AS HE THOUGHT HIS CHILDRENS LIFE WOULD IMPROVE ONLY IN LONDON.
DONT ASK ME WHERE I GOT THIS INFORMATION ABOUT SHEVA FROM BECOZ I CANT SAY,BUT IT IS TRUE.
P.S
AMROSINI NEXT CAPTAIN BUT HAS ONLY A YEAR OR 2 LEFT ,PIRLO WOULD REFUSE,GATTUSO WOULDVE DEFAINTLY PASSED THE CAPTAINSHIP TO KAKA.
MANAGMENT MY FRIENDS,BERLISCONIS PAST TWO YEARS ARE NOT GOOD ,NOT IN POLITINCS NOT IN PERSONAL LIFE AND NOT IN FOOTBALL.
HOPE THINGS IMPROVE AND EVERYONE REALISES THEIR MISTAKES AND LEARN FROM THEM.
CARLO ALL THE BEST BUT I HOPE ONE DAY U COME BACK AND REPLACE GALIANI IF HE DOESNT IMPROOVE

it is out of any doubt that Milan made a lot of blunders in the last 3 years but I believe they do not became idiots suddenly. They know perfectly what they are combining: systematically they are destroying Milan, because it seems their objective. Also a child would have understood those 2 movements - R80 :5dito: & $heva :5dito: - were risky at least. Furthermore Milan was full of half strikers and they had sold Gila... Kakà was already in departure, the matter of ManCity was simply a joke.
Another question: why just to Real, the European squad that more we hate? again: why they haven't searched for kakà substitute  before to sell him? They are beginners or simply cynics? :frustrat: I am for the second hypothesis, now i tifosi are irritated and then they will be accused to be without the right gratitude.
They are not so stupid as they look but they are surely bastards inside. :5milan:
about Milan red in balance: that is the same as saying that fininvest have not paid 25 mil. €. in tax for 2008.... balance loss for milan is less tax to pay for fininvest.
last february, fininvest gave to MIlan 15 mil. €. ... what a coincidence! the same amount for Gorky sale!
take a look here

where is gone my old Milan?

Don't worry some years ago we bought a very promising French player who has been hailed as the new Zidane. :wallbang:

I had to laugh at this because I was thinking the same thing the other day when I saw that Ronaldo had spent the night in Paris Hilton's bed. :D
Kaka v Ronaldo
Saturday, June 13, 2009, 17:33
Spain will have the world’s top three players for next season’s La Liga campaign, cementing its place as the world’s top league.
Real Madrid’s extraordinary purchasing power - snapping up Kaka and Cristiano Ronaldo in a matter of days when both looked untouchable at their respective clubs just a few months ago - has left them with the strongest squad on the continent. David Villa will complete an unbelievable attacking line-up as fantasy football becomes reality in one barmy summer.
But perhaps an intriguing, and understated, subplot is the dramatic divergences between the two players that cost nearly £140m between them.
Kaka welcomed Ronaldo with the typical amicable words, but the Portuguese must appear as an anti-Christ to the former AC Milan playmaker.
The Brazilian is stoutly religious. His intense faith originated after he recovered from a potentially career-threatening injury while in Brazil. He is rarely seen without his ‘I Belong To Jesus’ shirt, now in mass production and selling like any popular piece of club merchandise, and was a virgin until his wedding night - at 23 years of age. He plans to spread the word of God after his career does come to an end, and already donates heavily to the church, particularly in his home country.
Ronaldo may offer pretences that God plays a similarly integral role in his life, but his off-the-field antics suggests differently. From his orgy with a group of call-out girls, alongside former-teammates Nani and Anderson at his Manchester house, to various girlfriends - always beautiful and always keen to show-off their assets - the 24-year-old is never far from controversy.
He is petulant, stubborn, greedy and frequently goes against the notion of fair play that Kaka holds so closely to his heart. Ronaldo’s actions in Portugal’s World Cup quarter-final with England in 2006 were outrageous, when he helped get club teammate Wayne Rooney sent-off, before winking in a manner that made even softy-softly Alan Shearer advocate a merited punch.
He wrote off his Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano in Manchester this January and constantly causes a love-hate relationship amongst fans. His talents are on par with those of Kaka, but his arrogance and ego are off the scale.
Ronaldo’s loyalty towards the club that helped developed him into an £80m property has constantly been in question while his hormones seem to explode upon the season’s end as summer arrives.
So while they could form a sizzling on-pitch partnership, as Real Madrid face the pressures of their spending, it seems unlikely Kaka and Ronaldo will be paying each other visits in their new Madrid mansions any time soon.

"Spain will have the world’s top three players for next season’s La Liga campaign, cementing its place as the world’s top league."
This is the most terrible conclusion you can draw from the purchase of Kaka` and CR by Real Madrid.

They're little more than the New York Yankees of football. After paying up the ass for all these "superstar" players with government money, they'd better go undefeated for the whole season.

I saw this over on Milanfan tonight. Suggested reading for anyone who continues to believe that Kaka was forced out of the club against his will.
I personally don't want to see him return. Kaka himself said last week that he hoped to extend his Real contract so he could end his career at Madrid. Fine. Let him. I don't want him back.
Look, everyone on [Milanfan] seems to love Kaka and not blame him for what has happened, but there is a large contingent of Rossoneri fans who are very angry with him, including myself. Most of my family and friends in Italy who are Milan fans are very angry at him.
Kaka always wavered in the past, saying he wanted to stay; he wanted to play in the EPL; he wanted to retire here; he wanted to move to Madrid one day; he wasn't interested in leaving; he would leave if the club ever changed its goals; he would stay forever and be captain; he is very happy to be at Madrid for the rest of his career.
A lot of us myself included don't buy his recent words that he felt he had no choice but to leave. Milan are 40 million euro in debt, or thereabouts? Premier league clubs are billions of euros in debt, Milan's debts aren't Kaka's concern, especially since we have a billionaire owner who could easily cover those deficits. Liverpool's ownership group are bleeding hundreds of millions of pounds, but you dont' see Steven Gerrard saying he wants to leave to help the club. Kaka's job was to worry about the football side of things, and on that he always wavered in whether he would stay for life or not. In the end, he opted for Madrid, a club he has long loved. I don't blame him for wanting to play for Madrid, I blame him for lying to Rossoneri fans. On Monday 1 June the line is "to the millions of Rossoneri fans, I am not leaving, case closed" and on Tuesday 8 June "i'm leaving because it's best for the club." He also admitted that the deal had been in place for some time. Bullocks, all of it.
Yes, the club wanted to sell him. Yes, Galliani and Berlusconi are incompetent and disinterested, in that order. But Kaka was alright with leaving, and is quite pleased to be at Madrid. Pato tells us just yesterday on Monday afternoon that Kaka is quite happy. I'm sorry, but my idea of a club idol isn't someone who is so alright with leaving the club, even joyful about it.
Sorry for my rant, but to answer your question in a shorter manner, no, I don't want him back.
Io Sono Rossonero :devilsmiley: Forza Milan
I am with you and Milanfan.
IT realy doesn't take long to expose someone's hypocrisy.

I believe Kaka does not mind staying or going to Real. What bothers me the most is that some of you are trashing him like Sheva, which to me it is unfair. You guys do have your points about he should not have said he would like to be captain....but what else can he say when a reporter asks him a question on, "Do you want to be Milan's captain after Maldini?" or any other similar questions. TO be honest, he if really wanted to leave, he could been gone last summer when knowing Milan will not be in CL, but he stayed and helped Milan to gain a CL DIRECT CL spot.
Instead of what Sheva did.
I would love it if Milan can get a hold of Kaka in the future, but only if he is not a wash up player.
How about:
"It'll be honor to be a captain but there are others who are ahead of me, such as Gattuso and Ambrosini".
"At the moment, I want to focus only at Milan"
"Milan and I have a great relationship"
"I respect my contract with Milan"
***
At the end of the day, I think it's reciprocal: The management doesn't want him, he kind of grow tired at Milan, and Carlo leaves, alright so he leaves.
But it's entirely ridiculous when you have someone claiming he wants to be at MIlan forever just a few weeks earlier, then saying you want to retire at Real for live.
No, you don't talk like this.

I just read a very interesting point at R&B (yes, I frequently hop around other forums besides here). If Kaka's heart was in Milan forever, why didn't he offer to have his wages reduced to free up some spending cash for management before telling Madrid to shove off?
For all the talk about how many guys here are overpaid, we sure weren't getting our money's worth from him over the past two seasons. I don't buy his "I will always love Milan" schtick for a New York minute.

Agreed!!!
If he was an example of honest man he was supposed to that,it is now clear that he wanted out,as he said it was agreed long ago!!
LIAR!!!!!!!
I liked him very much. I don't like him that much now, I certainly don't hate him, but I don't wish him well as well at Real Madrid. Kaka is gone, end of chapter for me. Looking forward now :510:
But I am worried about those members of MM who have Kaka in their avators, signatures, fav players list and specially their usernames :rone:
Plus one more thing, I never put Kaka's name in the list of my fav players in my profile of MM. I put Lampard ahead of him and now I feel that I did the rite thing
I want Real at CL. I'm praying for that day.
4-0.
2 goals Pato,2 goals Dzeko!

I want Real as well :firedev: but my ACM team will also have Pirlo. I have changed my mind about him. He can still be a match winner here in new system
But I must say that you still have Kaka pic in your avator. When will you chage it? :tongue1:
You guy's talk like it was one of you playing. Ultimately if any of us were at Milan we really would stay for life/ take a pay cut etc etc.
But the club accepted an offer for him, he did not request a transfer.
MZK57 i have kaka as my favourite player, i do gullit too even though he left us.
These players are our history. Great players who played for us. Something to savour not to deny.
if a female loved a guy,and she expressed her love to him many times.
but that guy didnt give her enough affection for her to feel that she will have a safe secured future with him,he didnt make her feel that he wanted to keep her.
that female was getting older and felt that she wanted to feel secured, she was intriduced to a nice succesful man who showed desire in her and promised her a happy secure future.
should that beautiful female stay with the guy she loved eventhough he wasnt sure about his feelings and guessed many times to leave her? ,or should she move on with the keeper who showed desire in her and made her feel safe.?
should we call her a ........hypocrit or a "bad name".....if she left?
in direct words.should we hate him if galliani sold him to his multi rich friend and made a very good comision out of the deal?and he will make much more money out of commision when he buys new players?
galliani loves milan but loves to make money too guys,he spends alot and sure needs to make a few millions before he retires as hes reaching the end of his career.
there lots of things that go behind the scenes, galliani is behind the selling of kaka, not berlisconi.
berlisconi gets reports from galliani.and if galiani wants to sell something he can make it look bad to berlisconi.and if he wants to buy something he can make it look good .
kaka had to leave,he was indirectly forced to leave but if he speaks he will make problems and he doesnt want to.
lets stop trashing the guys who made us proud of being milanistas.
there r many hypocrits, but i dont think kaka was one,he didnt have to be one anyways

But all of these strained metaphors collapse. This isn't a relationship between a man and a woman. Milan were following through on financial imperatives and Kaka' was doing the same. We needn't toil to accommodate his departure. We just need to look ahead. The modern footballer comes with strings attached, and is, in effect, a commodity. In modern football, where a goal can mean the difference between nothing and thirty million sterling, the stakes are high and the conduct ugly.
We have to get used to it.
I think we handled the Kaka situation with a lot of dignity. Basically this was the deal: economic crisis has hit everyone including us, but we have a star player who keeps talking to other clubs and getting his contract increased---we have now come to the point when we can no longer increase his contract, but he continues to flirt with other clubs (Man City, Madrid, Chelsea). So, we finally tell him that we cannot increase the contract, if he wants to go, we are getting a reasonable fee for him, so it's up to him.
He did not want to go to Man City---we didn't force him, we didn't threaten to put him on the bench, we didn't twist his hand. We accepted the decision and he continued to play for us. In the summer, Madrid came calling---same situation, this time he didn't mind leaving. So we said, Up to you. If you want to stay you are more than welcome, if you want to go then that's okay. And guess what? HE went. He should change his motto to "I love money".

If it'll make you feel better, we'll have them switch it to "Kalac" instead. Only a three-letter difference. :D
The balance seems to have shifted against Kaka in this thread. Both club and player have been opportunistic and the brunt has to be borne by both. I guess we should forgive Kaka for not being Maldini, it's not his fault he isn't and move on to a fresh generation of players.
What bothers me the most is that some of you are trashing him like Sheva, which to me it is unfair.
I agree! When did we start as supporters to be manifestors of negativisim and no class?!! Weeks earlier some of you were all self righteous with the display the curva showed against our captian. YET are still harping away with this Kaka episode.
NO no no I think this nasty behavior only seen by the INTER fan started manifesting years ago and has come to full fruition! Get yourselves straightened out people!
Some of you folks are putting yourselves in the middle of a soap opera dictating where this club should go and not helping one bit. No this isnt a soap opera but a lot of you are sure acting like it because a certain cast member is no longer here!
It is childish and I know the biggest naggers here are by counting just by years, are ADULTS.
Many of you just weeks ago demanded a big change. Wanted a new coach, lacked the common sense to know what would come next. Now we got it and now you cry. Few who wanted "change" care to own it! That is the depth of character a so and so Rossoneri has become. What a pity!
Not to despair! Mama(AcMilan) WILL bring you the milk(titles&championship). I gurantee it will come, which the worst of you will suck on voraciously ahead of all others. Short liv'd, for the nagging of an immature child will return with the adversity that naturally comes. I feel sorry for the lives some of you toil with when this kind of behavior is shown over a team in a spectator sport.
Those who wanted change and no longer want to "own it"? I was weary of this "change" from the start, didnt want it. BUT I will gladly "own it" and look forward to the future prosperty this club WILL attain and add to its glorious history. It will happen and best done not on the whims and hopes of the desperate losers we got manifesting faithlessness and despair.
The supporters are at a crossroad with clear choices... BE a Supporter OR Nag nag nag till mama brings home the milk.
FORZA MILAN!!
Wow Kui, you really shut this thread down :)
Really nothing much to talk about him; I think most people are disappointed with his decision to leave when, just a few months ago, he said he wanted to stay at Milan for life.
That may be true, and he might be considered as a Milan legend, but what happened is still disappointing enough that people have, fortunately, moved on.

So.... I read some comparisons referred to in this thread on how different people leave Milan....how would you Milan fanatics and experts on legenadry status, etc. compare Sheva's leaving and Kaka's...how do they compare in degrees of loathsomeness and despicability in the way they left the club? Who is the worse culprit? Who do we hate more now and why? :p146: I AM being a little facetious so you may opt not to respond...and that's okay with me.

Yeah, I think everyone's invective has pretty much run dry on the matter.
But is he really a Milan legend? Sure, he had four great seasons which culminated in his helping us win the CL in '07, but he then slid into mediocrity thereafter and stayed there until he was sold.

Star Kaka reveals reasons for not joining Man City

Kaka has warned Manchester City that their summer spending may not bring the success the club craves, after he turned down the club to join Real Madrid in a then-world record £56m move.
GettyImages
Kaka turned down a move.
City's mega rich Arab owners are in the midst of a shopping spree that has already seen Gareth Barry and Roque Santa Cruz arrive at Eastlands and they are set to further add to their pre-season transfer haul by reportedly acquiring the services of Samuel Eto'o and Manchester United reject Carlos Tevez in the next few days.
Kaka himself was a target for City last January before opting to stay at AC Milan and subsequently making his move to Spain.
Despite many observers already decreeing that City are fast becoming a force to be reckoned with, Kaka remains far from convinced that their approach is destined to succeed, a key factor behind his decision to say no to City boss Mark Hughes
"I was very flattered by Manchester City's interest in January but it is just a project at the moment. And with projects sometimes you don't know how long the investment will be there for," he said.
"Lots of smaller clubs have periods of spending big money. But suddenly the investment stops when the owner decides to do something else. Or sometimes it stops because of other reasons like a failing economy.
"Things can be great one moment and not so great the next moment. The organisation can collapse like a pack of playing cards. I felt the time was right for a change and Real Madrid is the club for me.
"It was not about a difference of quality between the Primera Liga and the Premier League. Real will always be a big club. Nobody can take away their history and their nine European Cups."

Sorry, I just don't agree with you about this Jef.
I heard Kaka during his press conference in Madrid.
He was very clear, and when a Spanish journalist asked him about the difference between Calderon offers and now and what made him changing his mind,
Kaka answered that he told Calderon that he was happy with Milan and he will come only if Milan wanted to.
Milan never came with proposals from other clubs until last January when Milan informed my Daddy that I had an offer from Man City which I turned down.
I do not want to move but if the club wanted so, it has to be only Real Madrid.
Exactly after the match against Fiorentina Milan again told my father that I had another offer from Real.
I prefered to stay with Milan but when the club brought to me 2 offers in less than 6 months I realised that the recession was hitting the country very hard, and it was the time and in the best interest of both parts to move away.

I'm not disagreeing on this part, but I think you have (perhaps rightfully) left out some of my criticisms of him. Perhaps I wasn't clear before.
I know that some people will agree here, some will not. And that's fine. My goal is to make my point / perspective clear.
The point I am trying to make is: even if what you say is true, it doesn't make him less hypocritical. It's very difficult for my (note, it's only me) conscious to come out say something like this if I were actually a player. I would be real careful with what I say to the public, knowing that there might even be a .01% that I'm leaving my own team.
Just think about this: I say to this girl yesterday, "i love you", and then you decide to break up, for one reason or anything (e.g., long distance), and the next day you say to another day, "I want to go out with you (or something like this)".
I don't know. Some can accept it, but if you REALLY love the ex-girl, you probably have some levels of conscious before you go for the next girl again.
But of course, that's just me. And it's just an analog (please don't carry it too far).

I am more than convienced that Milan pushed him to accept the offer.
It´s cristal clear, Maltese...
As i said in another thread, I have friends that played in Europe, and as we all know...no matter what you do(or did) for the European club...you will be always a foreign.
They will not think twice to sell you if they needed, so Kaka did what was the best for him...chose another big club.
At least Galliani was man enough to say that they needed to sell the player, and not the player that ask to be sold.

I honestly think it's a bit of both. Kaka' flirted with Real and knew how the game was played. Milan realized that they could make money. Contract extension after contract extension does not actually show loyalty.
In my opinion, again, a bit of both.

Ofcourse it is abit of both, but I still believe Kaka never asked for a transfer to Real.
Jeff, you and others can keep going on about how Kaka said that and Kaka said this....but I don't think Kaka asked to leave. Yes, he got a better deal in Real than now, but it was Galli and Berlu who pushed him out.
Let me use my exp as example.
I was working in company A right after University, and it was a pretty big company in its field in HK. People were great to me(surprisingly), and managers and dpt heads all liked me. I was also doing well both at work and networking around the company, thus that led me to be promoted faster and more frequently than any person at my level. Heck, head hunting firms even send me offers from other firms on a weekly basis. Even though the offers were better, I chosed to stay b/c Company A made me what I am today. BUt then as they are expanding in the China, a couple of the senior executives wanted me to work in Shanghai with a slighty better package, but I refused due to my wife was expecting.
They first hinted at the post with great potential, then they asked if I wanted to go, then they say if I don't go I will be a fool....at the end they told me either I go or they will lay me off in HK. Then I took up one of those headhunt offers and ended at another company with better pay and stayed in HK.
My point is that, Milan was doing what Company A did to me toward Kaka. First they were nice about giving Kaka's choice to leave, but at the end they will force Kaka to leave. Just like how Company A forced me to leave.

Ofcourse it is abit of both, but I still believe Kaka never asked for a transfer to Real.
There are more ways than one to ask for something. Like I said, contract extensions do not indicate undying loyalty.
Yes, but Kaka never asked to remain either. When Man CIty made an offer, he rejected it and declared his love for Milan and asked to remain. We didn't force him to move did we? We could've done much more to twist his arm if we wanted the money, but we didn't. We always left it up to the player.
Now when Real come calling, why did he agree to move? What happened to the love declared to the fans just 4 months ago? Again it was up to the player. Berlusconi has said all along that when irresistable offers come along, our job is to inform the player, then it is up to him whether he wants to move. I'll guarantee you, if Kaka rejected Real, he would've remained at Milan, and Milan would've kept him. It takes 2 to tango. Real wanted Kaka and Kaka wanted Real, and Milan did not mind the cash. So this way, everyone wins.
And like Hasan said, contract extensions simply indicate a will to leave if the current club cannot match a rival club's offer. How many times was Maldini's contract bumped, what about Gattuso's? These are what I call loyal players. They earn a big contract and respect it. Kaka earned a big contract and tried to make it bigger every summer. Who the hell has 3 contract extensions at the same club in a time span of 6 years?? That is not a sign of loyalty, it is a sign of opportunism.

It was Milan who handled the offer to Kaka's father and exactly after the Fiorentina match.
And it was the second offer in less than 6 months.
When a club for various reasons continue to handle you offers from other clubs is telling you in polite to leave.
Even before last January Milan recieved many offers for Kaka and all of them were turned down without handled them to the player. Or turned down before informing the player.
Latest example is Pato. Milan recieved a huge offer for him and was turned down immediately.
Why it was treated different than Kaka's offer?
Simply because Milan wanted to keep the player as Pato's value has a great potential to increase in future.
The message for Kaka to cash on him was very clear.
I like how some people are trying to make Kaka look like the victim and Milan are the devils here. There was clear intent on both sides to let this transfer go through. Milan is strapped for cash and it was becoming difficult to manage Kaka's large wages. Kaka also "felt it was the right time to leave" and always liked the idea of playing for Real Madrid.
The worst part of this is the claim (fact?) that the deal was concluded long ago, yet Kaka was saying crap like he wants to stay, retire at Milan etc etc. THAT right there is blatant lying. No love lost, he was always inconsistent but I wish him the best and I believe with the right signings we could become a much better team than we were with him.

The thing is that a lot of people here are only making Kaka the liar, while Galli and Berlu betrayed the fans by agreeing to sell him.
Ofcourse Kaka can always say no, but it was three offers within 6 months, and what if Galli and Berlu told/demand him to leave the club.
The thing is that, I don't blame Kaka one bit for leaving and on top of that at least to me, Berlu and Galli really were pushing Kaka to leave.

I doubt you can name a lot of people who think it was all Kaka's fault while B&G were angels. B&G weren't mentioned not that they are believed to be innocent - they are dirty as hell which is probably a fact, but Kaka was definitely no saint. that's the bottom line. Two can play the game. In a sense, B&G didn't push Kaka to Man City (they hoped so and probably could have done so) to do Kaka a huge favor, as they knew that Kaka was already as good as gone and Milan simply would lose more money by waiting for the inevitable (Real's offer).
Instead, you don't blame Kaka one bit for leaving - that's some naive thinking.
Also, I don't believe that Real's offer came EXACTLY after Fiorentina's match. Yeah right. :rollani: Kaka is angelic. Yeah right. :rollani:

I think nobody believe that Kaka's offer came after the match. I'm sure the structure of the deal was done much before between Galliani and Peres.
It was handed to his father after the match, and I believe the player because there is logic in it. I don't think Milan were so stupid to disturb Kaka while they were fighting for the 3dr place.
I don't know if Kaka was pushed or not to accept Man City deal, but the attempt was there and the intention to cash on him was also there.
What I am sure of is that Milan cannot force the player to accept.
The player can say "I don't want to move, want to stay here till the end of my contract," like Dida, but such decision comes also with conseguences.

The thing is that, I am not saying Kaka is a saint.
He could have said no to Real, just like Man City.
The point is that Berlu kept saying yes to all offers for Kaka. As a player, what can you do. IT just shows that the club that you love clearly does not want you. If you are like Dida and Seedorf or even Emerson, who has no pride, then you will stay. But Kaka actually does have pride.
NOw I am not saying Kaka is the victim here, b/c I think only Milan fans and the Milan team are the victim, as everyone got what they wanted.
Berlu got the money.
Real and their fans got Kaka.
Kaka went to a TEAM that actually respect and want him.
I don't blame Kaka one bit on leaving Milan, and I don't blame Berlu for selling him.
What I don't like is the fact that Berlu simply does not care for Milan anymore, and he should have sell it to someone who cares.

Gabriel, I agree on many things with you but on this I think you are rushing with your conclusion. It is wiser to wait.
Every supporter is angry with the situation, but we are not seeing the whole and true picture.
Berlusconi became such a rich man because he can see things (opportunities) and act before others.
Sometimes a father have to take unpopular decisions for the best of his children.
In these time of crises who knows whose the best father, Is he Berlusconi, Peres or Abramovich ?
Personally I don't know the answers. ONLY TIME WILL TELL.
I'm not sure if selling you to Man City or Real is an indication that your team doesn't like you. I refuse to believe in such dichotomy.
It's like you can love a girl, but you don't need to be with her for the rest of your life.
But then again, let's not get into romance here; I'm no expert on it lol.

Jef, first of all profesional football is business.
You can mix football with girls in a way but not with romance and love.

By selling you to an other club is not an indication that they don't like you but it is a proof that money are more needed than your service.

So you're insinuating that every player who's been sold is because of your reason above?
Kaka went to a TEAM that actually respect and want him.
Don't be too sure. Perez is assembling a group of overpriced individuals, not a team. There's a difference.

Well, if Pato is a Chelsea player, would you guys still think Pato is after money...
Can you all just admit that Berlu sucks and that he is driving Milan into the ground and wants to sell everyone thats worth selling.
Pato doesn't/hasn't got contract improvement almost every year like Kaka. :(

Well, Pato had been with the club for 18months or so and he did signed another contract, so that makes two.
The thing is, if Seedorf is making 4.5 mil a year, how much do you think Pato, or Kaka should make.

I never hear Pato did sing new contract. He has clause in his contract that he will get contract improvement after year(s) with Milan and this is logic. I don't oppose contract improvement but not when there is rumour about other club interest to the player, the player gets new contract.
With Kaka, almost every year there were always rumours about his transfer and as we know Kaka stayed and his contract's renewed. :nervous:
Seedorf like Pirlo got 4 mil euros and this is acceptable since in that time Seedorf (and Pirlo) showed great performances. I never hear Seedorf renew his contract almost every year.

Well, like you said about Pirlo and Seedorf, Kaka deserves to get his raise. I mean, being the TOP scorer in CL, winning those Player of the Year award and leading Milan to win CL, if those are not reasons for a raise I don't know what is.

I think both of your points are valid, though Gabriel I don't think Kaka` got a raise only after winning the CL, playing of the year ward, and top scorer in CL. I think all of these things you mentioned only happens once...

So Madrid spent obscene amounts on Kaka and CRonaldo merely out of love rather than wanting to make money and win trophies? Spare me, please.
Wow Kui, you really shut this thread down :)
I think you spoke to early. LOL!
I cannot believe that we are still playing this awful tune.
Season hasnt started yet and we are commting trespasses against one another. YES! We are for the worse punching ourselves, more clearly our club... and for what puropse and to what end do you all want? Is this going to get us anywhere? If it does it isnt a nice place for ones soul and well being. Serious guys we dont go after our own, the owner and even those who were once with and who have contributed much... YEAH KAKA AND SHEVA.
This is an indictment of who we are and reflects to all what kind of PEOPLE we are or should be.
The disappointment of KAKA to Madrid is a foregone conclusion. What is really disappointing is the way some of us are acting. THAT'S the REAL tragedy!
If I knew NOTHING about the history of this team and came to MilanMania or any Milan Fan Site to read some of the posts, I would come to the conclusion that this CLUB SUCKS and always has sucked. I wouldnt want to be part of a group who thinks this of their club, even more so when those of you who say you love this club thinks it SUCKS and never have a good thing to say at anytime.
This idiocy has even gotten the members I admire all in a immature fit!
This is not about KAKA anymore. Mark what I've just said! Irregardless of where he is or where he ended up, this thing is no longer an indictment of his character.
It now comes down to who each and everyone of us are as individuals. Dont blame or judge Kaka anymore. Judgment and reflection of character is now pointed at each one of you NOT KAKA. Dont blame me or Kaka for this ugliness which should be alien to all of us. This ugliness was manifested not by his decision to leave, but by how many of you dealt with this adversity.
FORZA MILAN!

Here is probably the most idiotic thing I've ever read in all my years as a Milan fan. It might test your gag reflex.
Kaka’s Mega Move To Real Madrid Was A Sign From God – Wife
The other half of the Brazilian superstar has given her thoughts on her husband’s switch to Spain.
Kaka’s move to Real Madrid from Milan was confirmed on June 8, 2009, in a deal that would see the Brazilian join the Spanish club for the next six seasons. The deal cost the 'Casa Blanca' a mammoth fee of over €65 million, which kicked off their spending spree this summer.
For the first time since the move was sealed, the wife of the player, Caroline Celico, had her say on the transfer, and more significantly the cost, something that she has declared is a sign from God.
“There are people out there who need our help,” Caroline stated in an interview, as reported by Corriere dello Sport.
“I made a covenant with the Lord, that I was convinced in spirit to marry a virgin. After falling in love with Kaka, I thought that I would fail in doing this; however I told him clearly that I wanted to remain a virgin until marriage.
“It was a signal that I had respected the Lord, and now there is a sign from God, through Real Madrid.
“How can someone, in this period of crisis, be worth so much money? It is because God has put this money into the hands of Real Madrid, in order to recruit Kaka.
“From here we can open a church in Madrid, as there are people who must hear our words.”
Kaka and his wife are both evangelical Christians, who are involved with an organisation that preaches the word of the Lord. There is a video currently on Youtube which outlines their objectives through this mission, which they will be hoping to pursue further in Spain.
(Goal.com)
Yeah, I'm sure God told Real Madrid to spend over $200 million like candy right smack in the midst of a worldwide economic crisis.
Can we say "wackjob," boys and girls? Unbelievable.
Gosh, if that's true, then I'm glad we sold him...that's one wacky family!
Really nothing much to talk about him; I think most people are disappointed with his decision to leave when, just a few months ago, he said he wanted to stay at Milan for life.
In all his interviews after he left he have talked about Milan and how he wanted to stay. How things said by Milans management proves that he was pushed out. Now ask yourself, why would he say that if he was the one that wanted to leave? He got no incentitive. He is at Real Madrid now and the best if he want to further his career is to talk about how happy he is for this move. Just like Cristiano Ronaldo does.
I think this move is shameful and stupid. We could easily have made up this money by not doing other super stupid deals that we made the last years. But now we sold our icon, best player and most loved player.
I can understand if our management was tired of his wage demands, but then again, maybe they shouldn't give out money for free too players like Dida and Emerson. Lets not forget that Inzaghi have a incredible high wage and despite him still being able to score, he can't be compared to Kaka.
Obviously I wish Kaka no success now that he is at Real Madrid, but my heart bleeds when we lost someone like him.
I also believe the catastrophe called "selling Sheva" may give us some signs of where this will lead.
