You can't have in two games with Zurich a draw and a loose.... we need more options by far but we are in 16 of CL which team you prefer to play with and why?...

If i have a mistake in the teams we can play please the admin to make the corrections...

Forza Milan

We love you!!....

That's about 2 months later.

Suppose it happens right now, I'd rather avoid Bordeaux, who conceded least goals and performed solid against Juve.

I sense it's Chelsea and Carletto this time, that it happened again and again so coincidence can't explain.

My favorite? MU, for their game style.

Sevilla really... Not a bad team, they beat Real Madrid, but compared to the other teams I'd say I'd chose them. I'd rather avoid Arsenal or Chelsea. Barca could be pretty fun, it would be amazing games, but I'd prefer to meet them in the final ;)

Btw, anyone know when the draw is?

I picked Sevilla. Then again, if whatever I wish can come true, I would say "blah blah blah,,,,,, Milan wins the Champions League trophy beating whoever I don't care." :D :D

I would pick Bordeaux,

I would avoid Arsenal too, 'running team' can really give us lots of headaches atm! Barca & Chelsea? not now, latter stage is oK.. :)

On the contrary, i'd pick Arsenal. Their defense is pretty bad IMO. While Vermaelen scores quite a lot for a defender, he's not really a solid CB, and neither is Gallas. I don't know when Clichy will return but their 2nd and 3rd choice for LB are Gibbs and Traore. I believe Pato can turn them inside out.

They have many skillful players in the midfield who can match our fantasistas. But our DMs are better. And I think we'll find it more difficult to face a team that emphasizes on physique than skills, like Inter, or Chelsea.

On the side note, many of their first team players are injured (van Persie, diaby, Clichy). That said, the games will take in feb, so many, many things can still happen.

I would actually pick Barcelona instead of any other teams.
B/C Barcelona is the least physical of the 6 teams.

i'd take bordeaux or sevilla and save the best (barca or chelsea) for the last ;)

quarter final would be one of MU, arsenal or madrid then chelsea and barca for semis & final :pp20:

where is geo the french oracle ? :1whis:

seeing the list .. all the team is dangerous. 3 english team is hard to beat Sevilla is strong .. Bordeoux kick juve butt and CL champ Barca is also too good.

Maybe Arsenal draw will be good. We can revenge on them for our lost on this stage few years back. This will be extra motivation for Milan. Beside that they have muuch injury now and not on top form

Yeah, a lot of headache. Yet on the other side, I doubt many will choose Milan as their favorite next opponent. Some might rather face Inter. A bunch of links to the forums of the group leaders discussing this topic will be cool, I'm just lazy to research.

Ideally, I think we need other teams to either fear us or underestimate us. I think this plays a huge part in getting a result as we get the mental edge.

Whilst we're not good enough to be feared this season, I hope teams will underestimate us.

Let's not underestimate how important this aspect can be. Barcelona are feared right now and every team that plays them is often afraid to attack them. Teams like Inter and Chelsea (last season) approached them attempting to stifle them, rather than trying to impose their own games. With Chelsea it can be argued they had a gameplan, which almost worked, but ultimately I think they have the ability to attack and beat Barca, but were lacking the mental toughness to do so. Real, this season, actually went at Barcelona without fear and though they lost, they most definitely made Barca panic in a game that could have gone either way, which shows many fear a beatable Barca which ultimately lets Barca play their game.

The other side of the coin is underestimating opponents. Our results against Zurich are obvious examples of us underestimating our opponent and suffering because of it (Leo admitted we were arrogant in our approach). Similar arguments can be made of Man U in 2007 when we convincingly beat them 3-0, as no one thought we were capable of really pressing an opponent like that given our average age.

I almost want to say Bordeaux but then none are easy and Gourcuff will have something to say too.

Most people have chosen Sevilla,i did also.Sevilla are a good team, but thats also the reason they are with the last sixteen. They are good, but they are not Milan.

We have way more experience in this competition then they have, and i think we can repeat that Supercup win against them.

I hope for: Sevilla,Bordeaux,Arsenal

Its important it is not Barcelona or Chelsea. But what is making me sad is the fact that Milan fans now need to be afraid or some teams, which should not be happening. Let others be afraid of Milan, as it was in past CL years!

Every single one would present a problem for us. In my opinion Chelsea is a different team in the CL, much like us, and with the Carlo mentality, may prove deadly.... Obviously we are not ready for Barca so we should pray they are somehow eliminated so we should not face them..... Bayern???????

I would say the Red English clubs would be ideal. Nothing gives me more pleasure in football than watching ACM beating Man Utd again again. Similarly we have a score to settle with the school kidos of Arsenal (plus I hate their sick manager). Then I would say, Barca. Imagine, ACM beating the defending Champions and then going on win the UCL in Madrid. If this happens, the Spanish football federation surely ban both Barca and Real :hah: But thank God no chance of Bayern or Lyon this time around. It kind of hurts when your other favorite clubs are eliminated by your top favorite team :diablo:

The bottom line is, it doesn't matter who our opponent is. the simple formula of playing Huntelaar regularly would be a key. I hope this things gets inside the head of Leo

I really don't know why some people are picking Bordeaux. They are not the marquee name team like a Barca or Madrid, and maybe that's why some have chosen them, but you can't overlook these guys. Have you all watched them play, they are absolutely scorching right now. They are arguably the toughest opponent of the 16. Look, I know you all know this, you don't mess with form. Any team can win the CL, form drastically improves these chances; Bordeaux has it. I hope we don't draw them.

If you have to play a team then Sevilla, I choose.
Otherwise, Arsenal have been playing decent but I like our chances; same with Man U, they are fairly depleted but they have the X factor in Fergie (he finds a way).

I don't know why i want Bordeaux, i haven't seen them a lot but the fact that they kicked out Bayern and Juve is very important... In the nock out may be different , Sevilla is an option....

The most important for me os how we will be, we prooved it in Velodrom and in Bernabeu.... 1-2 addings in the squad will be possitive...

I have a feeling that we will draw with Carlo, i don't want it because he knows us very well.....

FORZA Milan!! :5ok:

Their pace in ball movement and leg speed, as well as thier stars all across the pitch (from Messi and Ibra to Alves) would destroy us quite frankly. We are a team who like to keep the ball and look for our stars....

Physically I'm not too afraid of Barca, and their technical ability whilst exceptional is something we can stop. Their movement would be the biggest problem for us as we often become too static ourselves and leave many spaces to exploit.

However, I'm much more afraid of facing a highly physical team like Chelsea than Barca tbh.

This is probably the best we can get, not saying MU is weak, but Mr. Platini would have thrown us one of MU, Barca and Chelsea, for TV, by the factor of Beckham, Dinho and Carletto (Gourcuff and Flamini are not the big factor yet).

Inter gets Chelsea, I like:hammer:
