Show some to the players who won the CL, I am talking abt Seedorf and Ambro specially
about seedorf even more as Emerson will play on his expense.
so he is a short comparison:
Shooting:seedorf>emerson
Passing :Seedor>Emerson
creativity:Seedorf>Emerson
skill? Seedorf>Emerson
so why is he gonna replace him?

simply we donot want Emerson Because we have
1- Seedorf 31 years
2- Massimo Ambrosini 30 years
3- Yoann GOURCUFF 20 years

Emerson 31 years so what we get new from him

I simply FAIL to understad why european managers are so fond of Emerson... he's slower than a slug, he can't create, he can't pass, in short, he's useless.

Nordahl: The same could be said about Rino...but the both tackle and win the ball quite well, and I beg to differ...he may not be Pirlo, but Emerson isnt a "bad" passer of the ball, and arguably is a better passer than Rino.

Emerson is not coming as a starter (if he indeed arrives) but as a Pirlo sub...simple as that.

you failing to understand something that others see ... does that make him a bad player? ... or does it make him a player who YOU think is bad but he proves the opposite year in and year out.

just because you think in a certain way that doesn't mean that Emerson will not be a good move for Milan, just like it doesn't mean that just because you adore a certain player, he will necessarily be a success at Milan ... or at least, better than Emerson.

btw, the move seems to be put on hold anyway thanks to Real's antics regarding kaka, so no need to go balistis just yet.

BTW: Liverpool really had bought Lucas Pezzini? If not, that's certainly a very good deal. Otherwise, Edmilson is not at all a bad idea, and I guess we can also try someone like Yaya Touré, for instance.

I think we need a left fullback, rather than a left winger - one that is maybe a bit more defensive-minded than janku. It would be great if we could get Zambrotta, but it looks highly unlikely. Martins is insanely fast, shame he can't finish well.

Oh well. Emerson stinks, and this gets us even further from signing r10.. Any news on him anyways? And so much for rejuvenating the squad with young players, I don't call shevchenko (turning 31) and Emerson(31) young.

I don't know because i support Madrid in Spain i watched him a lot this year and he was in very bad shape. But the transfer will go on as Schuster doesn't have him in his plans.

Exactly, when Emerson was substituted Real was playing faster in a more simple way...

It was the case with every team where Emo played, not only Real.
But still Capello and Brazilian coaches used to prefer to have him in the team rather than not.
I don't think the idea of Emerson being a regular in Milan is a good one. He was always slow and at 31/32 he's even slower. But you have to admit that this man gets the job done defensively. Milan needs a squad depth. You'll need at least 2 more very good Dm's to be competitive. If you have only Brocchi and injury prone Ambrosini then you'll ether find Gattuso exausted at the end of campaign or you'll suffer a lot if you let Brocchi do the job while Rino is getting a rest against the minor teams. You may dislike Emerson's way of play ( i do also) but he's still classes above Brocchi and you'll find him very useful when Milan will defend the result or when you'll play against smaller serie A teams.

Milan has a fantastic starting line-up. You should have realized by now that the substitutes can not be super stars like your starters ( that's why some of you should get on the ground and realize that you don't put Essien or Vieira on the bench to replace Gattuso). But you should have also realized that with the substitutes you have, you'll hardly be competitive everywhere, especially in a league with 38 rounds (that's why, in this case, you need someone experienced like Emerson on the bench, not Brocchi .....remember ManUtd in Manchester in last minutes and how much Brocchi's inexperience could have cost Milan).
That is why you need experienced players like Emerson who will play mostly 10-15 matches as starter and come in on 10-15 more matches as a sub.
After all , we are still talking about a player with 73 caps for the Brazilian NT, who was winning championships everywhere he went.

Emerson will only make Milan stronger.....Tony got it spot on.
We just can't afford to have Brocchi as Rino's or Ambro's sub....that's simply ridiculous
Even if we really signed emerson, Ambrosini could very well lose his place to the experienced Brazilian
