Apparently he has already booked a medical at Milanello at 6 pm on Monday, just the day after the Spanish season ends. A great signing, I think. emerson is a great player still, I have seen the last 3 or 4 real madrid games and "the puma" has been dominant, I agree with him and gattuso our midfield will be the best in europe

While Emerson isnt exactly a youngster, he has played well (despite Realīs fans barracking him recently) wherever he has played...and he always seems to play on winning teams..
He is vastly experienced, and really isnt being bought as a "starter" but someone to give Pirlo (I think) a rest, maybe when we are controlling the game, or when we play against smaller teams. Emerson is a world cup winner, and scudetto and probably La Liga champion as well... He isnt a long term aquisition, he is a player bought to play for us for a couple of years, while the midfield transitions.
