But the world has been making a big deal out of it. ....I only hope Dida can react at this with some great saves to prove you all he's not done yet... ( As he proved before ) and you know what, i still support him and believe he can do it.
FORZA DIDA.! yes i said it.
While the fans have the right to be angry and embarrassed, some people are just creating a haymaker out of the incident. Carlo gave an interview yesterday that echoes my sentiments exactly, and to see fans just write him off after Wednesday without batting an eyelash is saddening. My reaction would be the same had it been the likes of Pippo or Ambro or any other Milan player in his stead.

One of his trademarks has been his poise on the pitch (I still remember his restraining Mutu after he tried to stomp on Nesta during our creaming of Juve two years ago by wrapping an arm around his shoulder and moving him away, when he could've easily punched him out), but on Wednesday something snapped upstairs for the first time when the fan ran up and touched him. His lousy evening was compounded by the fan interference; for all we know, he could've had a flashback of the flare incident. Kaka and Oddo both expressed their displeasure at the dive but agreed that it was an aberration, and I feel the same way. Until all the evidence is heard and digested after next Thursday's hearing, forgive me for giving him the benefit of the doubt and not joining the lynch mob in the meantime.

Marion Jones is facing prison for lying to federal agents about her illegal steroid use. Knicks coach Isiah Thomas was found liable for sexual harassment earlier this week. Some lower-level English team a couple months ago signed a player fresh out of prison after doing time for murder. Those actions are far more heinous than a comical dive on a football pitch.

I am sorry, but I found this very funny. Are you suggesting that Dida maybe went down because he had a flashback?

I dont know what happend with Dida there on Wednesday, but I fail to believe that he dived...It might have been whatever...he might have just got a shock bcoz a Celtic fan attempted to touch him, and that is not supposed to happen. This guy could have had a knife in his hands...or this guy could have punched him in extremely painfull area of his shoulder/neck...Honestly, I think noone will be better than Dida in Milan at the moment, and I m supporting Dida (everyone has a right to make a mistake).

Disgusting video, especially if this guy is a Milan fan. If there's one thing Dida needs it's support right now.

To be fair to Dida, some of those were hard saves.

The thing is, every keeper can make a blunder, but it's the sheer frequency that is alarming. Also, his positioning is amateurish on some of those shots.

What can we do though Bandit? Nothing .

Kidnap Cech

What I dont understand is another similar keeper is Lehman - after two blunders in consecutive games (Fulham & Blackburn) he had this 'mysterious injury' which has kept him out ever since - and a second rate keeper Almunia (which I believe Kalac is better than) has been in goal for Arsenal. If Wenger can do that then how hard must it be for Carlo to tell Dida he needs time off and let him sit on the bench until he gets his confidence back?

Fair enough some of the goals were hard to save but no doubt I dont think any keeper from the top sides in Europe have made that many blunders. If we have this love for Brazilians then why dont we go for someone like Gomes from PSV - such a talented keeper IMO. Nalx that doesnt matter much - I can get a top 10 saves video of Barthez would that make him the best keeper alive? Say/feel whatever you like Dida is dead weight!

Say/feel whatever you like too, dead weight or not now he is Milan's number one GK, so get yourself used to it
