unfortunately Demi, my portuguese is somewhat limited when comparing it to my friends who were born in Lisbon. I can speak it...mind you it's a Sao Miguel dialect which most Continental portugese make fun of.....my reading is average at best and my writing is non-existent....i'm afraid when you're not required to read and write in Portuguese here in Canada you don't pick up on it as if you were born in Portugal and lived there.....i actually regret not attending Portuguese school as some of my friends did....but i can get by on the speaking....

unfortunately being career minded, playing soccer, and being married, i don't seem to find the time to take Portuguese lessons...my schooling involves my contunued profession....my turning 30 in a few months is a turning point....no longer can i say i'm in my 20's

thank you demi for the lovely compliment...you already know what me and the other boys here think of you...
