Do you know of someone who like Milan and Merdas together? I don't know of anyone, but the fact remains that Inter definately has more fans than Juventus, even in S'pore. It has something to do with marrketing not success. Inter has a better marketing and media-reach than Juventus. In fact the teams with good marketing tactic tend to have more fans. IMO I also heard Milan is the most supported club in China, a country with a large population, but fewer Inter fans and Juventus is not at all popular among the Chinese.

I liked Milan because Nesta moved there and I saw that there was also Maldini Inzaghi etc..and I started liking it more and more and so I became a Milan supporter.I used to like the colour blue and black for some reason, but now I prefer red and black because of Milan..I watched soccer only after the World Cup,I saw the Italy-Korea match and started supporting Italy, after that my interest in football grew..so I don't know much about how Milan did in the past years,I didn't even know who Sheva was because he was recovering from injury and not playing much at that time.

I have a classmate..she likes Liverpool and Real Madrid, and Beckham, she used to like Man U but doesn't anymore:p Other that that my classmates sigh whenever I mention football.

I think more people like Milan in Japan..I saw people wearing Milan shirts and there is a New Milan Point there also..

For someone who just started to support Milan you sure do know a lot about them lonewolf

I 1st know about MIlan in 93/94 when football was really popular in Singapore.Odd as it may seem but The New Paper was the one who 1st attracted me to Italian football..ermm or should I say Roberto Baggio(he was a Juventini then):p He was European Footballer of the year in 1993,World Footballer of the year 1993 and Fifa world player of the year 1993 and The New Paper had an article written about him as WC 94 was near. They ask him which is the team to watch, the dark horse and which players do he think will be stars of he tournament. All his answers did not involve Italy nor himself which show what a humble n down to earth person he is(regardless the honours he had received). That was one of the thing that gets me attracted hence I follow the Italian team in USA 94 to see his progress.

Any Italian fans who watched Italy's matches in USA 94 surely will fall in love with Baggio even more.In the process of watching Italy,I get to know lots of Milan players (don't know who play for which team then) notibly Demetrio Albertini,Alessandro Costacurta,Roberto Donadoni,Franco Baresi and who could forget Italy's captain(when Baresi's injured) Paolo MaldiniEvani and Tassoti were there too but I didn't notice them much.

The Milan players are the ones who really caught my eyes ...Albertini coz he's the one who provide Baggio with most assists and Maldini, the best defender in the tournament who even tried to score in some matches!!

So I did some research and I find out which club did the Italian players belong to..found out that most players came from Milan n Parma n the two Baggios belong to Juventus.I don't know why,I could have become a Juve fan for all I knew with Baggio in the team and all!But my heart chooseMilan..something inside bleed red and black

After the WC ended,I start watching the Serie A.Juventus who had Baggio with them won the the 94/95 Scudetto. But I still stick with Milan. The next season the player who started it all join my Milan and we become champion!!My 1st Scudetto!:pand I had all my fave players in the team..couldn't be any happier

Ten years on...I still kept that TNP article, thanking God I did not become a Juventini:p

I like Maldini, Shevchenko and Albertini. But if not for Milan's great history in Europe, I may become a Manchester United fan now. And yes I have seen a tiny article written by Edwin Yeo about the 10 best games he ever seen. And our footballing legend Fandi has scored against the Merdas in the UEFA cup way back into 1984.

hey, your milan fans in S'pore, don't feel too depressed. You can find LOTS news/gossip about Milan & Seriea a in Chinese media, if you can read Chinese. Here is one of the address: http://sports.sina.com.cn, which is the no.1 website in China with the largest number of surfers. There is a speical Seria A section, all the other La Liga, EPL, Bundasliga have to share one news section.... One editor there, who is kinda of Milan fan, always puts on all sorts of news about Milan.

Being a Milan fan in China is like a Manure fan in S'pore...

P.S. lonewolf, I apologize for my post some time ago, which might sound a bit harsh to you, for I didn't know you are a just a "baby" Milan fan.
