Here are some reasons that Real Merdas are nort coming here.
- Hectic to play 4 games within a short period
- FAS can't afford to pay $3.5 million for their appearance (excl airfares, hotel fees and meals)
- The expected day of the friendly will be 11th Aug, which means the National day decorations have to be removed within a short 2 days.

So they ditch Singapore for Malaysia. Actually FIFA generally favours Malaysia over Singapore... The AFC Cup and Furtsal tournament we all lose out to Malaysia. Not fair. Maybe we lacked a world class stadium, besides the National stadiums?

I heard that FAS is likely to invite Boca Juniors. Boca Juniors is surely not well known here, besides having an ex-player called Maradona. Why dont we suggest FAS to invite Milan here?

How much did it cost to bring Man U here,btw?$500,000?Or was it $300,000?Or $800,000?I don't think there are many Boca Juniors fans here,neither might there be many people interested..

..I wish I could go to the Asia Cup in Malaysia though,Chelsea's gonna be there..

Milan was here in 1994...ermm..Capello n the 'substitute' team that is

coz most of the 1st 11th players was playing in the WC. A short visit...did an interview with Kick Off mag that's all...a far cry when Manchester was in town

i went for both the man utd and liverpool game.... and it was fun.

i mean fun, is not the game, just the atmosphere and the excitment...

and oh yeah, my friend told me real madrid might come to s'pore, its a choice for them between m'sia or s'pore, but too bad they chose m'sia.

m'sia seems to invite lots of teams recently, i remember the brazil NT was there recently and they will be having the EPL Asia league and now real is going!!

s'pore is becoming like roma!! not wanting to spend money

There's no hot topic now. The only one is about Spice Boy's transfer to Real Merdas. Personally I think there are many players that are better than him. He's made up by the media to be a great player.

I read from Shin min daily news that Galliani has turn down a 97 million dollars bid for Nesta from Chelsea. but Ambrmovich may bid again at a higher prize, maybe even at around the same prize as Zidane. Seems like Galliani is more interested about his players' rights and loyalty than money. He also turned down a bid from Real Merdas for Shevchenko.

Last Sunday I read the news that Alberex Niigarta wants to join S'League. Recently they are 3rd in 2nd J'League division. I hope that they come here to improve the competition of S'League. Sinchi once have teething problems with their players (lots of red cards) and management, but all have seem improved.
