he's good but we'll not get him, man u and arsenal and some other clubs really really want him and there'll will be a bidding war on his contract if he leaves on a bosman next summer.

also i should add, its not that we can't compete with those teams (in fact i reckon we could do better) it's more i haven't heard anything linking him to milan and i don;t think we need him unless we decide to sell Ambrosini

the guy has scored again, plays very well and i don't remember such a complete and all around italian mid since many years. and he's 21!

I've always liked him but i waited for him to perform consistently before saying something; now i'm sure: he will be something and he's already a leader

He's probably the second two sided player top player in Italy (other one is Zambrotta). Also Sneijder is playing great for Netherlands.

He remind me a bit of Scholes. Aggresive, runs around a lot and creates problems for the opponents. But I surerly don't think he is all-around or complete in any way. Most of his offensive skills need quite some improving.

Most complete Italian midfielder is Zambrotta by far. Pirlo is also more complete IMO, just lack that little bit of pace.

none, but recently totti plays better however thats because aimar is injured on his day i would choose aimar, but i always thought he wouldnt settle in italy because of size.

Official: De Rossi With Roma Until 2009
10/14/2004 6:26:00 PM
AS Roma midfielder Daniele De Rossi announced he has extended his contract with the Roman club until the 2009 season, in a press conference held today.
“I signed twenty minutes ago,” De Rossi unexpectedly revealed, “I am extremely happy to remain here, and have been treated extremely well by the club.”

“These two days have been extremely important for me. I am very happy for yesterday and for how my career is going. The deal is the result of a long series of meetings. I thank chairman Sensi, Rossella Sensi, and the whole club,” added De Rossi, who scored his second career goal with the Nazionale yesterday, in the match the Italians won over Belarus.

Several newspaper reports had indicated the 21 year old player was being closely tracked by Roma rivals Juventus and AC Milan, however today’s news puts an end to all the transfer news surrounding Italy’s most promising midfielder.
