Yeah Baros is as greedy as hell..but Real put a 'not for sale' sign on Moro.
they put one on Makelele too ultimately, if the player wants to leave they will probably let him and if Owen keeps scoring then Morientes is going to be 4th choice....

i think thats true a lot of the time but not every time. Did you see his reaction to the latest claimant? he immediately threatened to sue her for lying, as any innocent person would. But when that whole Rebecca Loos, phone sex thing was going on he didnt once threaten the lawyers, she could prove it in court and he knew it

I am not an England fan. So England's fortunes don't really concern me.
But I don't exactly hate Michael Owen (like I hate, say, Steven Gerrard or McManaman), even though he is Scouse.
The fellow just tries so hard every time. Makes it difficult to hate him.

Well.......the media lap it up. If the media were that interested here (where I live) I'd be circulating romours of a gay-bang between me Becks and Sven Goran Eriksson too.

The move to Chelsea must have really inflated his value and wages. It wouldn't be wise to go for him now.

And Jenas? I don't know man. The fellow has a big head. Fergie can handle players with a big ego, but didn't they struggle after Gary Speed left? Maybe Jenas isn't the kind of player who could control the midfield. Or maybe I've seen too little of him.

i think she must have had some sort of evidence that kept his lawyers away, before that story the press here didnt really want to disturb his "goldenballs" persona because it could seriously backfire on them if they didnt have proof. Most of the claims since then are bull**** though, i agree with you there

strangely i dont really hate Gerrard, despite his loyalties. I think its probably because he said Keane was the player he wanted to be, which is something the Kop would probably have preffered him to stay quiet about

Macca annoys me though, and Robbie Fowler....

yeah, probably not, though if he starts making a fuss and p*sses off Mourinho then maybe he will become available again. It is just annoying that we spent about £12m on Kleb and Djemba when both were unproven in England whereas Chelsea got Parker who had shown his worth and performed well in an average side.....

He is probably too attacking at the moment but Butt allows that. I remember when he was at Forest and how good he was then, i think he captained them at 18 he certainly has the talent as well as the athleticism to be a box to box midfielder and hopefully Souness will give him the opportunity. The major downside though is that he isnt really a leader. We were lucky with Robson and Keane to have box to box midfielders who were also born leaders because looking around now there aren't really many who can do both.

I think I read somewhere that he was a boyhood Everton fan (or was that Macca?). Maybe that is why he didn't think too much before saying that.

Yeah. That is probably the ideal position and the ideal role for a team to have it's captain playing in.

Fat chance. I don't think that God would want a bunch of RED DEVILS to win.
But, seeing that the saints from Southampton don't win too often, I think that God isn't really concerned with football matters.

Being Scouse does not necessarily mean being a Liverpool supporter. People living in the general Merseyside area are all called Scousers.

As far as Manchester United goes, Fergie
Pray that he gets things right as soon as possible.
