AC MILAN - AS ROMA (pre-game comments)

Great result for Reggina and us today!!

Now we have our opportunity to take advantage and close the gap on juve.

As for Roma, I'm not afraid as its a big game and Roma aren't as fearsome as last year. In fact, I would go as far as to say most of our matches in recent weeks were far more difficult than Roma should be(ie Barca, Inter, Calgliari and even Samp).

I expect nothing less than a Milan victory tomorrow!

FORZA MILAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was out for a movie and I reached home to find the scoreboard Reggina 2 The Old B!tch 1

The match against Roma is a must-win! Not forgetting it's a Roma team without Montella and Cassano.

Paparesta was Juve's best player!
Forza Paparesta!

If the match was played in Turin Paparesta would have needed police protection to leave the stadium... Or maybe not, cause we know Juve fans never watch games at Delle Alpi.

Yeah lucky us Paparesta made the wrong decision by trusting the linesman. It was a correct goal though. I just hope Milan beat Roma tomorrow, which I really doubt . I really love Milan, but the game with Barca has really let me feel down. If Milan line-up the usualy lineup, im predicted that Sheva will score against Roma, and so will Crespo! Remember, the game against Roma last year was the turning point for Milan, i just hope its the same this year.

juve lost, juve lost, juve lost, juve lost, juve lost.
hahahahaha

about time they didn't get the refereeing decisions. a win here is a huge step as we are playing much harder opposition than juve and if anything would be expected to lose ground. but now we can gain.

I think 2 players were offside, Zlatan and Kapo but I dunno, maybe I was wrong?
But it doesnt matter, we should took 3 points against roma.

if we correct our lines and play with 2 striker then we are going to
win I would say (1-0) or (2-1)
our goal will be sheva-sheva and roma goal will be montella
or totti .

froza Milan

Nesta is in the squad.

Just checked the Italian part of the site.

Goalkeepers: Abbiati, Dida.

Defenders: Cafu, Coloccini, Kaladze, Maldini, Nesta, Pancaro, Costacurta.

Midfielders: Ambrosini, Brocchi, Dhorasoo, Gattuso, Kakà, Pirlo, Rui Costa, Seedorf, Serginho.

Attackers: Crespo, Shevchenko, Tomasson.

juve for once dont get the controversial decisions their way good omen for the weekend.

I have a bad feeling bout this game, hope im wrong. With so many injury worries for Roma and with th Juve defeat boosting Milan's confidence im worried we might think we have 3 points in the bag!!! But i want to thump Roma, I really hate them more than juve and Inter. As for starting line up - N Dida; G Pancaro, A Nesta, P Maldini, M Cafu; A Pirlo, C Seedorf, G Gattuso, R Kaka; A Shevchenko, H Crespo?

"GAZZETTA SPORTIVA: MILAN-ROMA, PROBABLE LINE-UPS
07 November 2004 11:58

MILAN: Dida; Cafu, Nesta, Maldini, Pancaro; Gattuso, Pirlo, Seedorf; Kaka; Shevchenko, Tomasson.

ROMA: Pelizzoli; Sartor, Ferrari, Dellas, Mexes; Mancini, De Rossi, Aquilani, Cufrè; Totti, Montella. "

We're back to our old lineup and it looks like Montella is going to play today.

La Gazzetta lineup looks good, except that I think Crespo will start instead of JDT. Panucci still out of the squad, same for Cassano....both good players, but Roma is still good nonetheless....whatever happened to Chivu?? injured? bench?

On the official site three of the papers say Tomasson will start and the other three say Crespo but I think you're right, Ancelotti will probably give Crespo a chance and I hope he will score his first goal for Milan in this very important match!

Forza Milan, we need this victory after the display at Nou Camp. Sheva will bail us out again
