Serginho, Kaladze and JDT have all scored this year... and in the same game too. Personally I will keep saying, give Dhorasoo a chance!

Milan has 7 players selected for the midweek WC qualifiers.

JDT for Denmark
Sheva for Ukraine
Kala for Georgia
Nelson, Marcos, Ricky for Brasil
Colo for Argie

So I don't expect the South American players to be playing in the Copa Italia.

I want a victory. I know that the Cup is not that important now days.....but the tripple crown would come tasty. A second string team will most probably will be used but that is no excuse for anything.
-----------Abbiati-------------
Simic-Costacurta-Coloccini-Pancaro
------------Dhorasoo----------
Brocchi---------------Ambrosini
-----Rui Costa-----Serginho----
--------------Crespo-----------(JDT to come in for Serginho if things are not going well)

JDT will come back by saturday, but I think he should start against Shakthar,so he should take the weekend break. I think that Carlo will probably start him alongside Crespo anyway, however i think Rui and Serginho right behind Crespo will do just fine. I chose Pancaro over Kaladze because I want Kaladze to start against Shakthar. Pancaro has looked shaky as of
lately, and I am really looking forward to seeing Kaladze back to his old self. He is really close.....he just needs to keep playing. Coloccini will be away for a midweek game.......and if he is back in time for the tie......he should play. He has only featured once(i think), so there is no way why he should not be able to play wednesday-saturday.
Is Abate sent away on a loan??? If he is not.......i really want to see him feature in this one. Give the kid at least 20 minutes. It is about time we start using our youth system to upgrade the engine. Hopefuly this team will take it to Palermo.
Forza MILAN!

Sheva and Tomasson were called by their respective coaches. But only the South Americans will be doubtful to play against Palermo, the ones who play in Europe can easily make it to the Palermo game.....except those who need some rest of course.

Abate and Pozzi are both on loan at Napoli....they had a good start, I am not sure of their latest performances though

A bit off topic, but is that the real name of the Argentinian coach?

Your eyes are not playing tricks on you, the name of Argie's coach is Jose Pekerman.

We need 2 field the players who don't get a chance 2 play.Especially the strikers,Crespo and Tomasson. They need 2 find their form and 2 do that, they need more playing time.Come on Milan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Start 2 play with more confidence and stop relying on Sheva's brilliance

Rai Due shows the match Live -

It´s a difficult game to approach. We have to rest players, but we also have to aviod a massive defeat as 3-0 etc.

It is difficult to play a good game with so many new players in a team, so the best we can get is a draw .. unless the strikers use this game to start the scoring.

Dunno the line up.. But a lot of players have to be rested ..or maybe just play 45 minutes.

from acmilan.com :
DARIO SIMIC OPERATED ON IN FINLAND...
MILAN - Dario Simic underwent a foot operation (on his right retrocalcaneare) on Tuesday morning in Turku, Finland. The operation was carried out by Professor Orawa, who was assisted by Doctor Massimiliano Sala. The defender is expected to be sidelined for around three months if there are no complications.

So , no Simic in COPPA ...

I dont have much of an opinion on who plays in our defensive back four, but would be interested in seeing the Midfeild players swapped out. It would be good to see Rui Costa (play maker), Ambrosini, Brocchi or Serginho (either or, not both), and Dhorasso make up the midfeild. I think we need to create some additional oppurtunies for these players to form a squad of calibur, and cohesiveness so that they can lighten the load on our 1st team squad. These four or five players, should be able to replace the starters for our less competitive series A rivals in addition to the Coppa. As of yet, since we are trailing in the standings, our team has had lots of preasure to preform, and less oppurtunity to rest.
I also hope that Tommasson, who may have found his goal scoring boots on Wednesday, will start with Cespo. Then it is up to the two of them to create goals, not just chances..... Just my wishes, hopes, wants and Opinion. Maybe right? maybe wrong?.......

Oh, and for some strange reason, I like Dhorasso, maybe its because he's French.
