Except for greedy shareholders (the ones who are not fans), everybody is opposing the move. So, unless the Irish t*ats sell up, we should be okay.

I haven't. Although I'd prefer it if overrated players like Vicente and Joaquin (for some reason that fool's name always keeps cropping up) were never linked with us.They're the quintessential examples of the continental players who bottle it when the time really comes to deliver.

We need good, solid players who have preferably played in England, and know what the importance of the local league is and actually have the desire and passion to win it. Not some prima donnas who will take their own sweet time to learn the language/find a house/find a kindergarten for the children/get used to the English grass and weather.

And oh, that reminds me, It was fantastic when Ronaldinho didn't join Man United. I never wanted him here for the reasons stated above. Even when we approached him, I was hoping he didn't sign.

Well, to say the truth i was very disappointed that we did not sign him. I have no doubt that he is the one who can adjust anywhere he plays. He is Magnificent and Supreme. And he will remain the same for long time in future unless he get injury.

I bet Dinho would be one of the best #7 we had. Regarding some legends who played under the 7th jersy.

Although recent year it seems that we havent lost so much, not signing Dinho. Our Ronnie is likely to be the best winger in the world in following years.

Basically, I have already told my feeling towards this event. And I do not want to exacerbate my old sore.

Even the board seem to be doing their best to oppose Glazer, as long as they make it a hostile bid Glazer will have trouble with his funding and theres no way Cubic will risk the wrath of the fans over uncertain funding..........

I think that will be particularly important when we come to replace Keano he has said his current contract will be his last which means he has 18 months left. Hopefully a list of targets is being prepared already as we cant keep wasting money on squad boosters like Djemba Djemba

I was dissapointed we didnt sign him until i heard his reasons, then i thought we had done right by not getting him. I think he has the talent to succeed in any league but he would have struggled to settle here and it would only have been a matter of time before the big Spanish/Italian teams began to offer him a way out..
I was probably more annoyed that we didnt get Robben because he gives Chelsea an extra dimension. Good wingers are part of Utds tradition and he would have been a good addition......

He got injured on International duty and might miss the derby tommorow

I expected it to happen so i was prepared for it but when the draw actually happened i still felt annoyed i suppose its like watching 2 of your mates have a fight, you just hope that neither gets hurt to badly and it doesnt happen again

what makes you think JP McManus and John Magnier are not fans and whats Irish t*ats suppossed to mean?

while i dont know him personally I know for a fact JP is a big sports fan, he is from the same county as me and has made huge donations to our hurling and gaelic football teams. i have gone to hurling and gaelic football matches and he has been there too. He has a lot of passion for sport and he is a very generous guy, he donated millions to the tsunami as well. he is hardly a t*at as you call him.

Who should we watch out for most?

rooney van nisterlooy or christiano ronaldo but our strike force of sheva crespo and kaka is a much larger threat

"Irish Twats" is harsh but does sum up the general feeling about them, not so muich the Irish part (as you know Utd have always had strong links with Ireland) but they are generally regarded as being purely financial investors who are only in it for the profit.

I had heard that too. If i remember right Magnier is the richer of the pair and has no real interest (but invested in Celtic too, hoping for to make a killing if they were allowed to join the Premiership? ) McManus is a fan of sports and met Fergie through horseracing, which led to him becoming more interested in Utd. I dont think he is what we could consider a hardcore fan or anything like it, but he has an interest

Ruud is only going to get 1 game (next week vs Everton) to get match fitness back, because of that i dont think he will be at his best and probably wont last the full 90 minutes

Well McManus and Magnier are definitely not very likable people. I think you knew that I was not referring to all Irish people. Perhaps referring to their nationality was not appropriate. I apologise for that.

But they definitely are twats.
If only for bringing their battle with Fergie into the workings of our club. If they were real fans, they would have told Glazer that they won't be selling at all, and we wouldn't be having all this drama.

The Veron transfer burned us badly, and I thought that after taking about 6 weeks of solid ankle bashing in the League from talentless fools like Joey Barton, Ronaldinho would have been pining for a move to gentle and sunny old Spain anyway.

Read up the Reyes tabloid story. That could have been us and Ronaldinho had we signed him.

It seems like both MUFC and Milan graft their oponents i.e. Dunne and Zamboni

yeah, he would certainly have been targeted for special treatment by some of the Premierships less talented players

Veron was a mistake but fortunately Chelsea had more money than sense They bought him to show that they were so rich they could even steal our players and now Inter wont pay them a penny for him

Rooney tried to claim the 2nd goal, saying his cross was going to go in anyway

Wearing thick glasses so wouldn't improve Rooney allready unfavourable look, even though it seems he needs them badly
