why sell tomasson?

i was wondering... why is everyone convinced that tomasson is leaving?? .. and even if why do u want him to ... and not inzaghi??? ... personally i think selling inzaghi would turn out better for us... i think hes very overrated while the football world seem to disagree with me on that, on the market hes around saaaaayy.. 15M, JDT on the other hand is around 12M.. yet if u think of it, with gila coming who would u rather have as 3rd choice??? a nagging inzaghi or a JDT who would instead want to fight for a starting spot?? ... look at it age wise??? i personally dont care less about age but u gotta admit inzaghi is losing it while tomasson was in his prime last season (this season he was injured alot yet he still managed to score)... other than that, inzaghis comeback seems unreachable because of injuries, tomasson is much more fit..

if it is for more then 10 milions sell him!!!! we need money for gilardino. WE NEED THE MONEY from tomasson in order to buy gilardino. selling inzaghi wont get us as much dough.

We don't need the money, that is not it. what we need is 4 strikers, not more nor less. Which means someone have to leave if both Gilardino and Crespo comes. Inzaghi recently signed a extension to his contract and is a welloved player which means either we don't sign Crespo or we sell JDT.

im still not convinced thats a good reason to sell tomasson and to keep inzaghi.. i mean the points i mentioned i think are stronger. besides ac milan foreva... inzaghi on the market i believe would bring us more money than tomasson but like kris said thats not our main concern.

I don't think that pippo would bring in more cash than tomasson.
whether you like pippo or not everybody knows he had a extremly lousy year due to injury. but exactly for that reason I'm asking you guys what team is willing to take a risk on him. if they have to pay hard cash?
Pippo paycheck is also bigger than tomasson what mean fewer clubs will be interested in purchasing him.

never the less IMHO the most logic player that will leave is pippo but soccer doesn't work on terms of logic. milan usually follows it's heart in that case I think tomasson will leave

nah cuz inzaghi is getting kind of old while tommasson is still in his 20's.
Tomasson would bring us some money and it will be essential for buying gilardino. It will costs us for gila and money doesnt grow on trees. We cant just buy and buy and buy and not sell.

that sounds better but i dont think we should look at it in your way, we should look at it in a way that benefits us... if i were galliani and the asking price for tomasson was say 12M while pippos price was say 9M then i would sell inzaghi ... just because of the fact that tomasson as 3rd choice would be more suitable than inzaghi.

Tomasson should be sacrificed in my opinion, his displays this season have been very poor. he was totally off the pace saturday again, i hope he is let no where near the pitch wednesday. i hope he can prove me wrong but i doubt it, even last season i was never entirely convinced he was milan quality

I think that we should have gilardino before thinking about selling john , i remember that we thought we had cannavaro in our hands then came inter and stole him .

Only because we wanted a younger Nesta

Hes not the same player as last season, he doesnt seem confident at all since Crespo's arrival. In the past he always made really intellegent runs, but thats not happening anymore. It seems that when we get on our strikers backs they tend to shut us up so hopefully he can score today

inzaghi is one of the most prolific italian strikers out there and his stats speak for themselves. when he is on song, he is a nightmare for defences. inzaghi is losing it? he hasn't played even 2 games this year. in the one champions league game he played, he scored. jdt on the other hand is fairly useless.

Well I am pretty sure the team management agree about the number of strikers we will have on the squad eventhough I don't think its a big problem to have one more. I understand that would mean a guy like JDT sitting in the stands but injuries happen and I wouldn't be surprised if JDT gets the same amount of games with or without 5 strikers.

With that said I think its almost sure he is gone, not Pippo or Crespo, if Gila comes.

Thomasson has done very well last season and was very reliable but this season has been everything opposite to that I don't know why . Inzaghi became very injury prone this season and last season but still a very good striker who rediscovered himself since he joined us from Juve . In all cases we have a problem upfront because only king Sheva is a prolific , reliable , consistent and perfect striker and he is the best in the world and we are overly reliant on him . His absence for any reason leaves a huge impact on our attacking power . Gilardinio aquisition will make Milan's attack the best in the world and the prospect of a partnership of Sheva/Gilardinio would be more than great . If that happenned and Crespo loan was made permanent and Inzaghi became fit Thomasson will fall in the pecking order to fifth and I believe it is his right in that case to move to any other club .
