Udinese's Jankulovski confirms AC Milan deal
tribalfootball.com - March 2, 2005

Udinese winger Marek Jankulovski has confirmed he is on his way to AC Milan next season.

The Czech Republic international will double his money joining Milan, agreeing terms on a four-year contract worth £1 million-a-season.

Udinese accepted Milan's offer of £6.25 million at the end of February and Jankulovski confirmed the deal in an interview with the Czech press this week.

"I didn't choose AC Milan over Juventus," he insisted. "Juve were interested, but then everything went silent.

"I am very happy to be joining AC Milan. It is a dream to sign for one of the greatest clubs in the world."

Jankulovski rejected a move to CSKA Moscow in August and revealed: "The biggest offer I received was from CKSA, but my intention has always been to stay in Italy

Well since that cam from tribal football, all it probably means is he will never join Milan

SPURSMILAN · 02-03-2005, 08:07

I think this could be true, I just have a feeling that Jankulovski will come. I think it's a great deal at £6.25m, for a top class player and at 27 yeard old, will be a crucial player in our side for years to come. It's also refreshing to see us linked to someone for a change, as Juventus seem to be linked to signing anyone and everyone.

rae · 04-03-2005, 06:35

where do you find that?

zlatanov · 04-03-2005, 07:12

In fact it is difficult finding a site that has not reported it - eurosport.com, tgcom.it, calciomercato.com, etc. Only the official website has not confirmed it but that is normal given that he will be with us from next season.

mk18 · 04-03-2005, 10:08
