Juve may hiccup when they face Livorno away, and I wont count on any favours from Parma when they go to Turin, but as they are in the relegation quagmire, I can expect a solid fight over 90 minutes, again, a possible blip in Juve´s points tally.

Indeed, we have a somewhat easier fixture list than Juve, but we have to have something in our favour to counter the fact that Juve have most of the refs in their pocket!!

so what

Generaly I was speaking about Lazio ability to win and not Juve's chances. Lazio in last 9 games gained 6 victories, twice drawed and only once lost Doesn't it say anything?

Zlatan is their only striker this year... and he miss the match Juve may play with 7 midfielders then...

Heh heh heh heh heh!!! Now Juve....what u gonna do?

So happy that Zlatan aka Mr Fisticuffs will be out for several games, and I do hope he will be out for our game, though I think Juve may get his ban reduced, though with the present climate in Italy, it may not happen!!!

No Zlatan, no Trez....heh heh heh.....

Looking at the fixtures, it's clear that we have to beat Juve at home, now that they survived Lazio. The remaining matches for Juve aren't at all tricky, while we still face a very tough game on the final day, away against Udinese.

REMAINING GAMES

1/5
Fiorentina - Milan
Juve - Bologna

Milan are claiming to treat every game now as a final. Milan have a history of being able to turn the screws when the going gets tough and have the players with the experience of being able to do so, so I will take their word for it. I have a feeling that the strain is starting to show for Juve as well and I think this game may end in a draw for Juve and a win for Milan.

8/5
Milan - Juve
The title decider. I don't care what people say now - this is it. Fitness levels are super important at this stage of the game. If Juve win, Milan will lose the legs to continue. Also, look below at the next fixture...

15/5
Lecce - Milan
Juve - Parma
Lecce have a horrible defensive record but have a great attacking record too. This sorta bodes well for MIlan because Lecce are not one of those teams that sit back and put 10 men behind in defense. However, they are well capable of scoring goals and may trouble Milan. Juve will slaughter Parma.

22/5
Milan - Palermo
Livorno - Juve
Another reason why the Juve-Milan game is so important. Milan play a team that is fighting for CL place. Livorno has no prayer against a motivated Juve.

29/5
Udinese - Milan
Juve - Cagliari
And yet again, Milan play a CL fighting team. The fixture list suddenly is not very kind to us anymore as Milan did not gather the points at Siena and Brescia like they were supposed to. At this stage, Milan will either be celebrating or wondering what went wrong when they lost to Siena and drew to Brescia in the run up to the title race - that is 5 points thrown away. Had they won both (and they should have) the title would have been wrapped up, even if they lost to Juve.

i think if milan win against fiorentina, then the league is ours. historically, milan have always suffered vs the viola, while against juve home we have quite the odds in our favour. the last defeat i recall is that infamous 6-1, but that was a season where everything went wrong (they beat us 4 years ago 2-1, but that was the coppa italia). so i am quite confident we will not lose. next saturday's game is what is really worrying me.

juve can only lose points vs livorno, then. donadoni, livorno's coach, has promised ancellotti he will return the favour (they beat us last time) and stop the bianconeri. at least a draw, roberto! in addition, livorno are in for a uefa cup place, especially if inter and udinese qualify for the coppa italia final (coz that would mean both qualify automatically for the champions league/coppa uefa through their league standings, leaving one Uefa Cup berth still up for grabs)

ignoring the lecce game (tactically, we should have a field-day) our last two games seem prohibitive on paper but actually aren't. palermo have lost any chance of qualifying for the cup with the big elephant ears, while udinese might already have settled in 4th or 5th place, leaving the last game as unimportant for their final positioning. in addition, the icoppa italia semi-final or final might be 3 days after the milan clash, so udinese will have something else to think about. i'm glad we got knocked out form the cup, now, on second thoughts.

conclusion: juve are favourites because the have an easier 6 games + no CL hassles, but i think milan still stand a chance.

Juventus will still be without Zlatan Ibrahimovic for the Milan clash after they failed in an attempt to reduce his suspension.

The Swede was handed a three-match ban after TV evidence found him guilty of clashing with Ivan Cordoba, in an off-the-ball incident, during the 1-0 defeat to Inter.

Ibrahimovic already missed the Lazio win at the weekend but his club were hoping to get the rest of his suspension scrapped or cut on appeal.

Today’s news comes as a massive blow for the Turin giants who are desperate for the striker, who has netted 15 League goals so far, to feature at the San Siro on May 8.

However, there is still a slim chance that he could play in the Scudetto showdown as Juve will now launch a second appeal.

i agree. milan always find the viola hard to beat. hopefully roberto donadoni will do us a big favour and hold juve. i know that in his heart, he wants to beat juve just to help milan

Hopefully we've made Juve nervous by beating Viola, which may affect their performance against a Bologna they should normally beat. A draw in that game would be sweet sweet music for my ears
