Fantasy Football

i have an idea. lets start a fantasy football. the season is almost over so we will just do a trial starting next week.
My ideas for next season is that all people who want to play this start with the same amount of money. Then you bid for any player in serie A, but a fellow player might outbid you. We will think over the details.

We will be graded by checking the ratings on players in real games. if a player is injured or suspended u have to replace him with 1 of your reserves. Then u add them all up and you get the average. Anyone have some ideas to make this better? oh and i also might need some help runing this.

lets try it out for the next 4 rounds. just pick any player and make up a list of 16 players and make ur starting 11 and the bench. forget about budgets for now. i just want to get the scoring system worked out.

deadline is friday to post ur squads.

AND PLEASE GIVE ME SOME IDEAS ON THE SCORING SYSTEM.

great idea, and i;m telling you it works. i've participated in a fantacalcio run by my friends for 5 years in a row now, and it's quite fun. it can be web-based too.

here are some hints for the point system from the one we have set up:

2.1 GOALKEEPERS
Clean Sheet: +5 points
For each goal conceded: - 1 point
Goal: +10 points
Penalty save (not including posts hit and goal misses): +3 points

2.2 DEFENDERS
Clean Sheet: +4 points
For each goal conceded: - 1 point
Goal: +6 points

2.3 MIDFIELDERS
Clean Sheet: +2 points
For each goal conceded: - 1 point for every 2 goals conceded
Goal: +5 points

For every two goals conceded a -1 point will be deducted from the player’s score. As some quick examples, one goal conceded does not deduct half a point, two goals conceded deduct one point, and three goals conceded
are equivalent to -1 point etc…

2.4 ATTACKERS
Goal: +4 points

2.5 APPLICABLE TO ALL PLAYERS
Appearance: +1 point
Appearance (60mins or more not incl. injury time): +2 points (including the above 1 point)
Yellow card (applicable to Coaches as well): -1 point
Red card (also applicable to Coaches when they are expelled): -3 points
Penalty miss: -3 points
Own Goals: -3 points

2.8 COACH
Team Win +3 points
Team Draw +1 point
Team Loss -1 point

2.9 MULTIPLE GOALS BONUS POINTS
Player scores a brace: +2 extra points
Player scores a hatrick: +4 extra points
Player scores a poker: +6 extra points
Player scores more than Poker: for each additional goal increase a +2 point bonus with the previous bonus

2.10 CAPTAIN
The player chosen as captain will be attributed the points as described above but will have his score doubled.

2.11 EUROPEAN CLUB COMPETITIONS BONUS POINTS
In UEFA Club Competitions, the above pointing system applies but each point will be doubled.

Can someone start with that, so we can see how does it works???

One more question, can we take players from other leagues or only from serie A. And if I start I will take all Milan players . Maybe it will be better that we can takee only 3 players from 1 team???

noo no no.
this is how it will work. we will start with the same ammount of money. we will Bid for the players and whover has highest bid will buy it.

Yes I know that, but you said that we can try it now to see how does it works, but it's late to start now 3 weeks before the end of serie A.
