LOL! I know the feeling. At least you were honest and I cant disagree with that. Well we'll see. Either way att least we know our team did do well. I'll take any silverware possible. CHEERS DUDE!

what would the mood be if Juve drew?

"ach they'll not drop anymore points, only 2(or 1) games left."
or
"YES! come on all they need to do is draw or lose one more and we're the outright winners!!!"

which would you be. Serie A has been decided a lot on the last day of the season so I'd personally be the 2nd one.

meazza, let me say this: I would be in the 2nd category...right there with you, were it Roma, Lazio or even Inter who occupy Juve´s current position.

However, when all things are considered, (and while I still hope for a successful defense of our scudetto) it is really a BIG ask to suggest that Juve will drop points in 2 of their remaining games...

And the things I am considering are these:

1. Juve has had ridiculous, conspiracy theory type luck (of a refereeing nature) in their favor, e.g. in having only one penalty called against them since January....do you really think that with the scudetto almost sewed onto their shirts for next season, that this trend wont continue?

2. Capello is not Lippi....he will drive the players to the death to get the title.

3. Zlatan will be back, and the Zebras will be spoilt for choice of who to start as striker.

4. Del Piero´s form has really been improving of late, and his intervention vs Milan was a perfect indication of this.

So, though things like decidedly dismal for us, I will continue to hope, and wish, even if the task looks impossible....and I need only remember that "impossible is nothing in football"

FORZA MIIIIIIIIIIIIILAN!

But never think for a moment that I dont wish with you....I do wish for us to retain our title....and I wish it with all my might.
sorry if it seemed like I was belittling your Milan passion. I am sure you are just as passionate as most Milan fans here (Except for me of course ). It just upsets me when Milan fans THEMSELVES don't believe in the team and think that the team can do it. It's upsetting because there's nothing more that I want other than Milan lift the double this year. Ideally i would hope that all milan fans be as hopeful and idealistic as me. I don't care if Milan are losing 4-0 and there are 10 minutes remaining, i still believe till the final whistle is blown, that Milan will win the game. Sure I am not realistic, but remember in the last minute of that game when Pippo scored against Ajax and qualified us to the CL final? So many people gave up on them....

so, again, i apologise if i came off wrong, but have a little more faith

But Warro Bantan yes it is hard indeed to see Juventus throwing their remaining games away but football is not only a matter of that ... Luck plays a very important part in footie and for all you know we just might get very unlucky in the remaining three matches (god forbid though) ... like the 99/00 season against Perugia (well that was half luck anyway... never have I cried so much in my life, aieh)

I dont want to jinx Juventus or anything but us Juve fans have as much cause for worry as you Milanistas do. Football's a bloody cruel game and you never know whats gonna happen. Serie A's always been like that

Oh ****e now Im remembering the AZ Alkmaar game ...

i have a sneaking suspicion that both milan and juve won't turn out 9 points a piece in these remaining 3 games each but the title still could go either way. I think juve will win it by a point, but I've not giving up on a parma miracle yet.

Whatever it is, I definitely do not want a serie a title play-off.

In these situations the ghost of Perugia haunts me

But they cant win it by a point...can they? I thought 2 points or less difference results in a playoff?

Err, no. A deciding game will only be played if two teams end up with the same amount of points.

Yes, a play off would only be necessary should Milan and Juventus finish the season on level points

last time that happened was in 19...64? Inter vs bologna

right now, i am watching juve-parma and parma might as well have stayed at home. they came to play with a defeatist attitude and withing 1/2 an hour it could easily been 5-0 and it's just miraculous it's only 2-0.

Juve could not be more challenged if Parma were made up of 12 year old school kids out for a sunday game.

Ok, we drew at Lecce, and Juve won...sad as it seems to me to say, and I am fully prepared for all those who may criticise me for this statement, but we threw away one more chance to stay in the race today....

5 points is way too much of a lead for us to regain, with so few matches remaining...
