Would you like to see Mourinho as our coach in the future?

To me, yes. I strongly recommend you Haroon's CL posts. There you can find some information about Mourinho&Milan. He gives some hints about his plans in the future.
Quote:
A few months ago Mourinho said " We can be the new AC MILAN" . He didn't say Real, Juve, Inter, Utd., Arsenal or Club X. He said Milan. He knows what Milan's standing in the football world is and he knows what Milan did starting from Sacchi's reign as coach. For him, Milan is the reference point and learning curve with which he measures how his side(s) is/are doing. He wants to coach Milan in the future as his final call in club coaching and then move on to the Portuguese National Side. Simple plan ... 15 years of coaching. 5 at Chelsea, 5 at a big Italian club (his heart wants Milan but the question is whether Milan would want him in 5 years?) and 5 years with the NT.

When Mourinho arrived at Chelsea he didn't like what he saw with regards to mentality of the squad, players, staff and management staff etc. He said "When I arrived at Chelsea the mentality wasn't right. When you walk into a club like MILAN you can see and feel the self-belief of the players and staff. You can feel an air of confidence and a tradition of winning. I tried to change the mentality of the players and give them the self-belief which is very important in football"

To tell the truth, i never wanted to see him as Milan's coach until I read his comments about Milan. But my thoughts totally changed. He does not like losing, nor do we. And it is so obvious, he is the best coach in the world now: motivates the team very well, great tactician, when compared to Ancelotti, he is a genius. And moreover, he seems to be a good Milan fan. I do know it is too early to express what is on my mind but i am soooo excited guys. He can create an unreachable team in history. The idea and possiblity of that makes me crazy so far.

He's one of, if not THE best motivational coach in the world ... of that there is no doubt. But the overall best ? No, i don't think so.

He's not a tactical genius that's for sure, the only tactical thing that's worth any mention is putting Gudjohnson into midfield, that's about it. I don't see anything about his formation that is a revelation. For getting the best out of people he's very good, but there are other coaches who are better rounded in overall talent ... like Capello or Benitez.

His arrogance though is the biggest down point. It was ok to start with, yeah it's funny and amusing ... but Chelsea can neither win with grace or lose with humility now, they are so far up themselves because of him. If he kept control over it, that's fine ..... or kept it private then no problem. But he just looks a fool sometimes. The semi-final against Liverpool said it all. He couldn't be bothered to get his team to attack because he was so confident they'd win at Anfield. All his players thought the same and they were made to look stupid because of it. That's not the kind of thing we need.

Absolutely not. According to my experience, coach does not ruin a team's image. In spite of Mourinho, many people think Chelsea played the best football this year.

Except for defence, Chelsea's squad is not world class imho. He did really well this year, no doubt. In semi finals, if his stupid players were a bit better, he would be playing against us.

Then perhaps he is not such a great coach of motivating his players, right?

Anyway, I do not mind seeing him here, but only when Ancelotti is not producing results. But, given that he is not a Milan player in the past, and the fact that Galliani said they'll only hire Milan's past players, I doubt if the management will do that.

But who knows?

Only the media sycophants think that Chelsea played the best football this season. Don't get me wrong, they played very well in stages, particularly the middle part of the season where they were very good ... but at the start and near the end they were nothing special at all.

Maybe he should have done his job properly and kept his players feet on the ground instead of believing all this hype sh*t about already being in the final.

Jeff, i cant say so. I find him very successful about motivating his players. Lampard or Terry announced once that they played for Mourinho and dedicate the victory to him.(i think after barcelona match) As we see after matches, he goes next to his players and celebrates them or shakes their hands after losing a match.
For these reasons, i do not think he has problems about motivating his players but i meant some stupid shoots in the match such as Gudjohnsen's in 95th minute.

Is it really possible to disagree with and detest every single proposition of a man? Until I met this Grenoli character I didn't think so.

He won almost every single cup in Europa and more successful than Ancelotti at the moment. He did much better with worse squads, generally speaking. Please read what he thinks about Milan one more time. I am really proud of what he thinks about us. He seems to work harder to become Milan's and National team's coach. And people who do that from heart like Gattuso must always be considered. The best coach in the world announces that he must make team play like Milan. But this Milan is not only our present team but the tradition of LEGENDARY Milan. I am sure he used to watch Milan in 1989 and said ''I will become their coach some day''

I wouldn't mind Maurinho at Milan at some point, as I rate him VERY highly, but for now we have Carlo and I'm happy with him to stay

That quoted part was posted by me. At first I thought that which newspaper copied that but then I realized that that is an excerpt from my post.

Mourinho would come to Milan but not now ... 4 years down the line when he has coached in England for 5 years with Chelsea.
