Ehm excuse me if i say this, but although we gave away 2 points easily (also thanks to the ref, no way that it was a penalty), i have not a bad feeling about this game. In the 1ste half, this so called 'B-team' played much better then the tired 'A-team' of last weeks ... We made a lot of good attacking attacks, Brocchi, Serginho, Dhorasoo and Rui Costa ruled the midfield. 3-1 was way deserved, and almost it was 4-1 when Brocchi's shot hit the post.
I think this 1st half showed that Ancelotti shud have rotated more during the Serie A season. Than maybe some of our 'starplayers' wouldn't have been tired by now ...
The 2nd half was not that good anymore although we still created chances. But Brocchi, Tomasson and Dhorasoo chose to go for their own luck instead of giving the ball to a better placed teammate ! We had the opportunities to score 4-1, but Milan got too confident and Palermo became more dangerous. Although it's only thanks to a very cheap penalty that they got a 3-3 draw in San Siro ... But i think that Carlo should have rotated more during the season ...
Well what the heck, Juve was actually already champions , so let's hope we clinch the CL-title Wednesday ... I hope the key-players are well rested now

Ancelotti has rotated the team a lot during this Serie A season. Much more than Capello and Juve as an example.

agreed. also notice the aging defence - it's very telling because they are unable to regain teh fitness as fast as younger players are. no matter how many people say fitness is not an issue - sorry, it is!

Ancelotti rotated much more in the seasons 02-03 and 03-04. In the last months Milan almost played all the games with their regular 11, sometimes just 1 or 2 changes like Kaladze, Rui Costa or Ambrosini in. But players like Dhorasoo, Costacurta, Simic and even Serginho hardly played full games. Btw, Simic was outstanding today in defense ! The young Primavera-played also did put in a decent performance.

Well, captain Maldini as 36-year old sure seems able to regain his fitness as fast as any youngster. Or else he wouldn't have played more than any other Milan player bar Dida this season.

Cafu, Stam and Maldini, well gotta live with them

But then again if you put 4 aged 2x players out there in consecutive of 10 games (with the likes of opponents like Juve and PSV and Inter), I'm not sure if they can regain their fitness as fast as what our 'old' players do.

It's simply a hypothetical statement.~

Of course, of course.
But with the so-called Coloccini a 'great' defender in Spain, and yet play poorly for Milan... can you trust?

Of course, he is not given enough chance so that's not fair to him. But if you want a world-class, and REALLY world-class defense, can you afford a mistake for the sake of letting other players rest?

and btw, these players didn't play today. So I don't know why this is brought up~.

If you make more than 1-3 changes per match you'll disturb the rhythm of play for which reason rotation sounds easier than it is.

because of the other games they played. come on - why can't milan fans accept criticism of the team? why get so defensive? it is a fact that we need younger players and a change in attitude - we cannot be so overconfident when we go 1-0 or even 3-1 up like today.

Congratulations to Juve for winning lo Scudetto

Too bad we didn't win today, it would have been good for team morale ahead of the CL finals. The good news is that many key players were rested and should be in good shape in Istanbul.

Forza Milan, we will win it next year instead

Criticism is fine especially when backed up by matter-of-factness. In this case the numbers of goals scored against us as well as the excellent results of this season don't go well together with what you describe as a fact.
