Now Stez without being too critical. Why were you unclear or when you said Man U was in debt and then turn around and say oh no we are not in debt???
Is Man U in debt or are they going to be in debt??? We needed to make that clear. You finally did only after the name calling of Glazer. Now dont get me wrong but I wish you were a bit more honest earlier. You were blaming a so called debt that Man U supposedly had and then when I explained to you a club doesnt go into debt in a matter of one year, the length to which this guy has been in the organization, you turned around and only then did you reclarify yourself.
Well I give you credit for reclarifying yourself and will give you the benefit of doubt.

I wasnt being deliberately unclear, the club isnt officially in debt until Glazer finalises his takeover but as he has the required shares that is pretty much a formality. All of our discussions on this took place after he bought out Cubic, and it has been common knowledge amongst SU members that all of the other major shareholders would stand or fall according to Cubics move. IIRC Harry Dobson (the next biggest Shareholder after Cubic and Glazer) sold the day after Cubic did and another 15% of major shareholders within the next few days.

This isnt a new situation to me as the process has been going on for around a year, and the Utd board warned back then that when Glazer submitted his plans they involved loading the club with massive debt and they refused to recommend his bid to shareholders as it wasnt in the best interests of the club. Last year at the AGM Glazer retaliated by voting against re-electing 2 of the board members, a petty act that only served to weaken the club.

I wont respond about this subject for a while, with the final tommorow i want to clear it from my mind From Sunday onwards i'll discuss it again but between now and then its football only

On that subject Arsenal are certainly talking the talk, we'll have to see whether they can walk the walk They have so many players with grudges now it could be counterproductive, motivating them to the point were they begin to ignore the greater good to focus on their own battles....

Maybe no Giggs?

Fergie wants to keep it solid which means 3 central midfielders and only 1 winger (with Rooney attacking from the other wing) Ronaldo is in better shape so will be preferred to Giggs...

____________Howard_______________

Neville____Rio____Silvestre____O Shea

____Fletcher___Keane__Scholes______

Ronaldo______________Rooney_______

______________Ruud________________

the team is announced in a few minutes so i might be completely wrong

hahahahaha manu lost 2 arsenal. I just loved 2 see the manu fans, players and most of all Alex ferguson(hate 2 call him sir) hav a crying face like a baby. i just loved 2 see the sad & diminished face of alex ferguson who most of times has a very uptight attitude. Glazer has brought bad omens 4 manu,so better watch out next season, manu may be even relegated.

that was so not deserved for arsenal.

arsenal sucks. I hope they will end next season in the relegation zone and have a season like Roma's this year.

Both so true

The stats for this game must be truely depressing, they walked away from this with the cup having only managed 1 shot on target in 120 minutes, and that was a 30 yard freekick

We were even more dominant in this match than we were when we put 4 past them at Highbury but it just wasnt our day, i knew we would lose from the moment Rooney hit the post from that great angled shot...

Still, there were plenty of positives. Rooney and Ronaldo were both outstanding and tormented Arsenal all afternoon. Ruud didnt score but he was often in the right place and on another day could have easily scored 4. The midfield totally outclassed Vieira and co and the defence had little to do but did it well making Arsenals attack look so weak it was like they were trying to smash down the Berlin wall with feathers

In a way it worked against us as when it did get to penalties Lehmann had been busy all day and was ready for it whereas Carroll had had nothing to do...

finally wat matters is winning & not how u win. The talk that arsenal didn't deserve 2 win the cup is all b******* becoz the manu fools hav 2 find a reason 2 justify their defeat 2 archrivals arsenal.manu really sucks. Milan also showed manu & ferguson that they r a bunch of loosers after selling BECKHAM. without BECKHAM they can never win in big finals.

Nice theory except Sehnsucht is a Juve fan, not a Utd fan, which eradicates your idiocy in one swoop

Considering what you've written, if on wednesday Milan totally outplay Liverpool only to lose on penalties, will you praise Liverpool for winning and condemn Milan for being a bunch of losers then?

finally, can i ask why you're obsessed with Beckham? it seems strange you would laud him as being solely responsible for Utd's success, particularly considering your avatar !

thats not a fact, its an opinion

Beckham didnt look interested for Utd in his last season, everyone remembers he scored 2 against Real in the 4-3 game but most people forget that he only came on as a substitute. He'd been dropped regularly through the season for poor performance and Ole Solskjaer had actually taken the right wing/forward position completely by the end of the season.

What really hurt Utd was that Solskjaer got a serious injury right at the start of the next season, so serious he hasnt played regularly since This meant Ronaldo had to feature a lot when he had been brought in only to replace Ole gradually over a few seasons and he wasnt ready at 18.
