I dont understand what is Vieri doing with AC Milan Jersey...
He is totally out of context and his arrival has put Sheva's stay at risk!!! Is he really worth it?.... I dont think so!!!! I've seen him play against Chicago Fire and Chelsea and although he scored (by mistake really) he is really lousy... Very FAR from Sheva or Kaka's excellency... I hope he stays on the bench at serie A games New 2006 AC Milan Jersey already for sale ![]() |

ok. talk about over-reaction. the season hasn't even started and here we have "fans" blasting players who are not at their peak physical condition. trust me - vieri being at Milan does not put Sheva at risk. you can start breathing and go back to bed

Not a big fan of Vieri and I understand why some wont like him in Milan... No, he wont give Sheva a challenge for his place, but as a sub Vieri can be useful - not only did he come for free but hes also an experienced striker
But anyways... this is part and parcel of being a fan ... once he wears the rossoneri colours you should welcome him with open arms... after all... all of you are there for one reason... milan. it wont be a problem unless for some reason you really really hate vieri.

I definitely agree with Rossonera23 as I have followed the matches and progress of Vieri over the many years that he has been in serie A. He has NEVER.. even at his best.. been a striker that a midfiled could depend on. He simply waits there for the ball to be pumped to him. Its essentially the opponents versus 10 of Milan, with a white elephant in attack.. Vieri. Vieri is now, just like how Ian Rush was prior to his retirement.. absolutely inneffective. One would say that Vieri gives a different aspect to our attack.. i.e: towering headers.. and a stout presence in the box. However, even at Inter, he has failed to show the effectiveness of this approach and instead depends on rebounds to knock in the odd goal or 2. The ONLY use thatr Vieri can possibly have is that he has had a prior strikeforce with Inzaghi in the Italian National Team last time, and this could prove somewhat useful if we do face striker crisis throughout the season. In spite of all this, I am INCREDIBLY excited of the potential of Sheva and Gilardino.
Not since the days of Van Basten have I seen a striker as good as Sheva.. and Gilardino is setting up to become one of the all-time Milan greats !! Greetings to all of you from Singapore Fan since 1986 ![]() |

well - think of it this way. Remember how JDT used to come on as a sub and we all knew that he wasn't going to score? well, think of Vieri as a JDT that actually scores or, at the very least, draws defenders away from Shevchenko or Gila. With JDT, he had to be in front of goal without a goalie in view 2m from the goal line to score
Vieri is far better than JDT. |

well said that’s true Nadir he will be great super sub and for him coming in he can sure gave enough space upfront for sheva and kaka coming in coz he mostly will take one or 2 def and that will be pretty good for Mid-field. i was not great fan of Vieri but he is no doubt big time striker and with his height and tough built body he can easily play as lone striker. isn’t it ok when someone doesn’t play that good but he can score vieri is type that will do what sheva and henry does he is type that stays up front and waits that’s what he does and always will do. we all now know and if he scores like 12 goals a season from the bench why that’s great if sheva and Gila both combine for 40 goals what else will u want. sehnsucht79 I agree with him sayin when u are fan u have to accept him with open arms, coz he is champion and joins champs

There's no doubt of course that in their respective prime Vieri by far is a bigger player. I find no fault with Tomasson's general record, in particular his NT record, it's been world class. But Vieri is an absolute Giant ![]() |

for all you "vieri haters" you should sit down, take a dep breath and have a look at his stats.... 93-94 Ravenne 12 Goals, 32 Games 94-95 Venezia 11 Goals, 29 Games 95-96 Atalanta Bergame 7 Goals, 19 Games 96-97 Juventus Turin 8 Goals, 23 Games 97-98 Atletico Madrid 24 Goals, 24 Games 98-99 Lazio Rome 12 Goals, 22 Games 99-00 Inter Milan 13 Goals, 19 Games 00-01 Inter Milan 18 Goals, 27 Games 01-02 Inter Milan 22 Goals, 25 Games 02-03 Inter Milan 24 Goals, 23 Games 03-04 Inter Milan 13 Goals, 22 Games 04-05 Inter Milan 12 Goals, 27 Games i have only included his league stats. now he may not be setting the world on fire but like pippo inzaghi (and there are alot of people who don`t rate him), his goal scoring record either at club level or internationally is as good as any of the world class strikers out there at the moment, literally 1 goal in every 2 games. considering hes going to be 3rd choice striker i think hes a damn good deal.. now if anyone of you want to argue then please do, but remember I SHALL ALWAYS WIN as you can`t argue with HIS STATS!!! LOL ![]() |

You got him for free, his record speaks for himself, and he has the experience, and probably understands that he wont be the first choice. why on earth would you complain now?
