it was a nice game to watch, we maybe even deserved to win, but we could have lost if drogba han't fallen over i still think he is the most overrated striker there is. chelsea should start with crespo and gudjohnsen. as for us great goal by rui, lovely free kick by pirlo that vieri legitamley scored from (damn linesman).

Chelsea scored because Vieri lost the ball in midfield, because he simply is slow and incredible predictable, then drogba was lucky in the re-bound of the ball with Costacurta, it was not he's fault really.

after vieri lost that ball there was most of Milan's team left behind it so blaming him for the goal is plain ridiculous. Just because MIlan midfielders and defenders watched how Drogba was dancing around them, that doesn't mean the goal was Vieri's fault for having lost that ball in the first place.

how can you not blame costacurta?

he turned his back/tried to roll away from drogba when making the tackle,

what kind of tackling is that?

A tackling from a 39 year old that shouldn't be on the pitch, but Drogba was lucky.

what bothered me was the commentator saying that italy won't abide by the new offsied rules. how will this affect milan when they play in europe?

Gilardino could have scored a few but his finishing sucked today

If it was Sheva Im pretty sure we would have won

But thats why we have these kinda friendlies, so nothing to worry abt

I saw Arsenal vs Porto yesterday and the commentators said England wont be abiding by the new laws either. With Serie A and the Premiership against them i cant see how they have even managed to bring them in

I've not heard of any league that is actually in favour of them so hopefully most of them are just waiting to see how FIFA/UEFA respond to the Premiership and Serie A.

germany is not abidiing by the offside rule either. if UEFA is, in the CL, it's gonna cause a lot of confusion. to be honest, it's a stupid rule. It really hurts the flow of the game and I see FIFA just pulling it out after a while.
