Vieri: had a poor game, but I think he will improve as time goes on. He will not start any games, based on these performances...he was slow, made too many missed passes, and couldnt dribble past a quadraplegic in a wheelchair. (But this is pre-season, so I wont be too harsh)

Gila needs more time to adjust to the team, but his positioning isnt bad, and I have no doubt he will start alongside Sheva, even if he disappeared for a while in this game.

Pirlo: What can I say about this genius? Simply that I thank the Good Lord he plays for Milan.

Rui Costa: This man is pure class...sheer brilliance for his equalising strike, and deserves a starting role, even if he has to be replaced 20 minutes into the 2nd half by Ambro or Gattuso...or even Seedorf.

Nesta: Strong and positionally astute as he normally is.

Stam: Not bad, actually, very good game from the Dutchman.

actually, I do, but both played ok..

Ambro: Good game, hard tackles, lot of running...working hard for a starting place, could get it, except that:

Gattuso: Had such a good game, he may well have retained his starting position...did make some errant passes, but hey..thats Rino for you!

Thats all I can remember...I was pretty during the game, so I cant remember much of it now...except that all of Europe better sit up and pay attention, as if Milan can give Chelski a run for their money when not totally fit, and without key players...then Paris definately beckons..

Hasan, I apologise profusely for that remark..I admit it was insensitive, and I would like to state that I in no way intended to insult, demean, or offend anyone...that is simply not my style...
