Juventus have joined us in the race for Cicinho! Just like how they also joined us in the race for Oddo a couple of months ago! We first went to Oddo, then Juve joined in, then we went to Cicinho, and then Juve joined in again!

So they have...hmmm now what? A bidding war in the offing? Juve for sure cant afford that, and Milan..well, Berlu is clutching his purse strings really tightly.

I hope we get him, if he is as good as he is claimed to be. If he isnt that good, then Juve can take him...

It seems like we wont be getting either. It has been announced that Jankulovski will be taken the right-wing role. He will be Cafuīs substitute. An excellent idea, Marek can play at the right until January, and hopefully, we will get Cicinho then. I think we have a good relationship with Sao Paolo right? Hopefully Kaka can convince Cicinho to come to Milan

Juve buying a brazilian?? I donīt believe...and i pray that they never by a brazilian!!! Cicinho is great, he only needs time to adapt, heīs playng as winger since last year. But, IMO the next cafu isnīt Cicinho, is Daniel Alves of Sevilla. This kid is great, and is playing better and better...i donīt know if you can watch Spanish League, guys...but Daniel is a monster in stamina, and have more skils than Cafu. IMO he will be our Starter after THE GREAT Cafu...

Cicinho will be in Italy next week to get his passport - according to Calciomercato.com. The teams in Italy that were linked to him are Fiorentina, Milan, and Juve. Juve are closing in on Miguel, Moggi hasnt pulled any surprises yet, so expect the next one to be a surprise.

I just hope we can get Cicinho. Although, he has stated that he wants to stay one more year in Brazil so he can get selected for the World Cup.

The rumour is that we may sign him in January. he will come and talk to Aredio Braida after he got his Italian passport.

That's right.

MEanwhile Cafu is seriously considering to finish his career in Milan. that's what the brazilian says today in a press conference. Galliani already offered him an extension and told him that the doors will always be open to him. Cafu say that seeing Billy and Paolo enjoying the game in such an advanced age only gives him the mood to continue playing in Milan for several more years.

Which could mean that we could get Cicinho to play as a right midfielder?

That could be an option, but it wouldn't be the main one. He would be bought primarily as a right-back with the advantage of being able to play further upfield if we play a suitable formation.

Brazilian international Cicinho has revealed he has turned down a move to Milan in order to remain with Sao Paulo and increase his World Cup chances.

The 25-year-old made a big impression with his performances in the Confederations Cup in June and was approached by The Rossoneri with a view to launching his career in Europe.

Wolfsburg have also been credited with an interest in the full-back who could have moved to San Siro and continued his education next to Brazil's veteran hero Cafu.

However Cicinho made the brave decision to turn down the six time European Cup winners to enhance his chances of making the World Cup in Germany next summer.

"I am very comfortable at Sao Paulo so I am not thinking of the chance to leave this team at the moment," said Cicinho.

"I have spoken about this with my father and he agreed that my decision is the correct one.

"I think that the best thing for my career will be to stay at Sao Paulo and leave to go to Europe after the World Cup in 2006.

"I want to stay at Sao Paulo until after the World Cup because if I play in Brazil I have more chances for being recalled to the national team and that is my objective."

Cicinho was included in the latest Brazil squad to face Croatia in a friendly fixture on August 17.

Whats the source for this? Hmm, I havenīt seen anything about this any where. And also, Wolfsburg havenīt been linked to him at all in the past. And they say he is 25 yrs old, I thought he wasnīt even 20 yet?
